Business Owner

Shawn Porat is the founder of the online marketplace for buying and selling judgments –the first and only business of its kind — judg​ment​mar​ket​place​.com. Shawn has been featured in ABA Journal for creating a marketplace in the legal community.

He has published in multiple financial journals on entrepreneurship, social media advertising and marketing topics, including CNN, Yahoo and Forbes.

To give back, Shawn is a member of various entrepreneurial clubs where he spends time mentoring young business professionals. He is also a volunteer guardian ad litem to the Civil Court of New York.

Shawn holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a minor in Legal Studies from Hofstra University.
