Rumpus Room

If there’s one thing I can say, New York City has some hidden gems, and this is one of them! Went to The Rumpus Room last Friday for a video release/​dance party (which I showed up for the dance party/​live performance portion of the function) with a bunch of my friends and we had a blast.
The place was definitely a great social scene, with friendly bartenders, and the drinks were quite strong. For $ 10/​drink, it was worth it. Oh, and of course I can’t forget they accept card! Praise Athena for that!
It’s more of a lounge space, however there was enough room to cut up and dance the night away. The DJ’s I assume weren’t in house, but regardless the tunes were on point! I’ll be posting a video as proof
Two things did make me take away a star, however very minuscule. Being petty, the second time I ordered a drink, one of the bartenders made the wrong drink (I asked for a tequila sunrise and he gave me a tequila and soda… so not sexy), so I had to go to the other bar to put some OJ in it. The other thing was the speakers were a little low at some points, but majority of the night the music bumped.
If ever asked to go to this venue again, I wouldn’t turn down the opportunity!

This place is surely a hidden gem! Cozy bar /​club with one main bar. Great chilled ambiance and music. No drama. No idiots. Always a good night here! I really don’t have anything negative to say. Even the bouncers are pleasant.
Highly recommended.

City’s best kept secret. One of the hottest night life spots and I love the neighborhood. Popped bottles here at a private party. Music’s dope, awesome chill spot. Always a great time when we roll here.
