Root & Bone opened in June of 2014 in the East Village of NYC. We are a neighborhood restaurant specializing in traditional Southern fare with modern technique.

Meet the Business Owner

Jeff McInnis and Janine Booth.

Business Owner

Root and Bone is owned by Chef Partners, Jeff McInnis and Janine Booth. Both Chefs competed on Bravo’s «Top Chef» — Jeff on season five and Janine on season 11. Jeff is originally from Niceville along the FL panhandle, while Janine calls Perth, Australia home. Jeff is a three time James Beard nominee. The two have appeared on the Today Show, CBS Saturday Morning, Good Day NY, Better TV, NY1 and more.
