I adore this place. They’ve fixed my boots, pumps, and purses. Every girl in the city should have a cobbler she can count on and these guys never let me down. I also recommend bringing in a couple things together as I find they’ll give you a good «bundle» price.

I LOVE this place. I’ve lived in different parts of Manhattan for several years and tried about 6 places and this one is the best. They repaired two pairs of my shoes, cleaned a pair of boots and sold me the perfect match of shoe polish for a beloved pair of boots. My husband had his shoes re-​soled here and they’re still in great shape. Communication is sometimes a problem as I can’t speak Spanish and their English is limited. But the quality of their work is top-​notch. The prices are not a bargain, but you get what you pay for.

DO NOT BRING YOUR SHOES HERE. At least, do not bring your nice shoes that you care about. I have used them for the last few years with mediocre results — i agree with the other reviewer that it is expensive and does not last. That is one thing — but I recently dropped off a VERY expensive pair of shoes to have rubber bottoms put on them to protect them — I really should have known better, but thought just having this done wouldn’t be a problem. I got back BROKEN shoes. BROKEN. They tried to glue them back together but it didn’t work and I now have BROKEN shoes that I can’t replace. When I showed them they said they need more time to try to fix them — Are you kidding me??? You broke them in the first place and I’m supposed to trust you to try to fix them now??? ABSURD — NO SYMPATHY FOR BREAKING THEM — I’M APPALLED…

I found this place to be overpriced with mediocre service. I recently brought in two pair to get re-​soled and was charged $ 90. Within 6 months both soles were coming apart at the toe and completely worn down. When I took it back and showed him he tried to re-​sell his services again. Unbelievable. I think there are better places and more reasonable places for this type of service.
