Dr. Robert Raimondi is the fourth generation in the practice, continuing the tradition of excellent dental care.

Specializing in prosthodontics, the only American Dental Association approved specialty in cosmetic dentistry, Dr. Raimondi focuses on the restoration and replacement of natural teeth and the building of artificial teeth on dental implants.

We are committed to delivering the highest quality of care respectfully and with our patients welfare in mind. We specialize in cosmetic dentistry, veneers, crowns, implants, bridges, tooth whitening, night guards and full mouth rehabilitation.

In addition to his private practice, Dr. Raimondi also teaches at the Brooklyn VA General Practice Residency, the Manhattan VA Advanced Education in Prosthodontics Program and the New York Hospital at Queens Advanced Education in Prosthodontics residency program.

History

Established in 1920.

Our practice was founded in the 1920’s by Dr. Karl Knapp, chairman of the Crown and Bridge Department at NYU and one of the founding fathers of the Greater New York Academy of Prosthodontics. He was succeeded by Dr. Jesse Lefcourt in the 1950’s and then by Dr. Paul J. Hoffman in the 1970’s. Now the fourth generation in the practice, Dr. Robert Raimondi is continuing the tradition of providing excellence in dental care.

Dr. Raimondi obtained his bachelor’s degree in biochemistry at Stony Brook University and his doctorate in dental surgery (DDS) from one of the top dental schools in the United States, The University of Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. He went on to a residency in general dentistry at Nassau University Medical Center and a three-​year, full time specialty program in prosthodontics at the Manhattan Veterans Affairs (VA) Hospital. He also studied at the New York University Advanced Education in Prosthodontics Program.
