Dr. Leinhardt is a board certified otorhinolaryngologist, facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon. He has specialty board certification from the American Board of Otolaryngology

and is a member of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Dr. Leinhardt received his Medical Degree from University of Brussels, Belgium. He was Chief ENT Facial Plastic Surgery at Manhattan Eye, Ear, & Throat Hospital in New York; more cosmetic surgery procedures are performed each year at Manhattan Eye and Ear Hospital than any other institution in the world.

He also served as Director of the Department of Otolaryngology at Lincoln Hospital-​New York Medical College. Dr. Leinhardt is an Associate Clinical Professor Emeritus of Otolaryngology at New York Medical College. He served as Chief Surgeon for the New York City Transit Police Department, and Hon.
