There are so many great qualities about Rev. Annie — warm, friendly, calm, organized, professional, and fun! She provided wonderful guidance in creating a ceremony that fit us and was such an invaluable, happy resource the day of the wedding. She takes care of all the paperwork which really made the planning process painless. She was supportive of «out of the box» scenarios and we would highly recommend to other couples!

Annie officiated our wedding and we were very pleased. We initially set the date for December 31^st but life happened and we had to move the date to January 1^st. Annie was very understanding and very accommodating which put my mind at ease.
On the day of the ceremony, we were running behind and again Annie was very understanding. Her calm demeanor made me feel relaxed. It’s something about her presence that makes you feel like everything is going to be okay. She was very warm and personable to my guest also. The vows she made for us were perfect.
Overall, Annie was very professional and friendly and I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for an officiant in NYC.

Annie was amazing! From the moment we first touched base with her, we could tell from our interactions that she would be the perfect person to lead our special day. Annie created a beautiful ceremony plan from our love story that represented us perfectly. She made sure that it was just what we wanted before the day arrived. When we met Annie, it felt as if we had known her for years. She is personable, kind and made us feel at ease in a city we were visiting for the first time. Her presence at our marriage will remain in our hearts forever. She truly exceeded our expectations.

People can not stop talking about how amazing our wedding ceremony was and that is thanks to Rev. Annie. From the moment we met with her a year before our wedding we could tell that she was the officiant for us. She understood where we were coming from and what we wanted and had great suggestions as to how to make our both (very different in terms of religion) families happy. We wanted to ceremony to be about our two amazing families coming together — and she did that with grace and ease. Even my mother who had her heart set on a church wedding said that she did a wonderful job. We are so grateful for her calming presence before the ceremony — standing with us during pictures and doing a small talk on the importance and significance of the marriage license. We are forever grateful — thank you for making our day so special!

Rev. Annie officiated our Central Park wedding a few weeks ago and my partner and I couldn’t be happier. She’s exceptionally warm and friendly and has a calm, spiritual presence about her. She was also incredibly helpful throughout our entire wedding planning process; she explained the ins and outs of the ceremony, recommended ideas that we could implement, and completely calmed our nerves. She also worked with us to create a wedding ceremony that highlighted our relationship story, personalities, and spiritual beliefs, resulting in a deeply meaningful ceremony. We highly recommend her to all couples looking for a NYC wedding officiant!

Words cannot express the warmth Annie irradiates, she is caring, sweet, attentive and has an amazing ability to understand what your feelings are and the vision you have for your wedding. She truly loves what she does.

Rev Annie is the sweetest lady, I adore her. She officiate my wedding at Jefferson market garden back in April. I can go on and on about how amazing she is, but all I have to say is this: I would hire her in a heart beat if this marriage crap out.

Annie was amazing. She was the most professional and offered so much helpful information as soon as we booked her. She was also super flexible to wait around even though we were running late on our horse and carriage!

Rev. Annie officiated our wedding in late September in Garrison and was a true pleasure to work with. After our initial meeting, we knew she was the perfect person to initiate our wedding. Rev. Annie came up with an initial ceremony which we refined and revised over the months before the wedding. For an additional fee she even came up from the city the day before to do a whole walk-​through with the entire wedding party.
On the day of the wedding, when we had a small mix up with busses, Annie helped keep us all calm and focused on what was important.
We loved our ceremony as did several guests who came up to us to note how beautiful it was and how great Annie was!

Annie did not officiate my wedding (me get married? get outta town!) BUT she did come to my journalism class and let us interview her for a profile. I think that somewhat qualifies me to comment here.
What I saw was an incredibly sweet, charming woman who sees past cultural/​religious differences and really focuses on the love between two people. She obviously loves her work and allows her positive energy to shine through. Annie was so nice to talk to and really radiated good vibes. I wish there were more people like her, this world would be a better place. If I ever got married, I’d love to hire her!
I can’t speak from experience on this but she seems really committed to customizing each wedding — she’ll sit down with a couple and really go over the ritual/​script, taking into account the peoples’ backgrounds, religious/​secular needs, family wishes, etc. She also does house and baby blessings. At first, I was hesitant to accept it because I am not a fan of religion but when I met her, I really saw what she was about — just uniting people regardless of any societal expectations, etc. It’s all about the love!

Rev. Annie made our very special day — perfect. She also guided us through the marriage application process and helped us choose a beautiful venue in Central Park for our ceremony. Perhaps what we loved best was her kind spirit and warmth prior to and during the ceremony, as well as the personal information and influence she requested from us and incorporated into our ceremony and wedding vows.

We can’t say enough wonderful things about Rev. Annie! We knew the first time we talked to her that she was the one to marry us. She is kind, thoughtful, patient and passionate about what she does. She worked with us to make our ceremony everything we wanted it to be. She gave us ideas and listened to our ideas so that our special day was perfect. The communication was great, from the first email until right up to our ceremony. And that has continued even after our ceremony. I wish that everyone could be married by Rev. Annie!
