Love this store both of them the les store definitely has better sales associates. Sometimes the bitches in soho act like they’re there to hang out n not help clients. Sometimes they’re very nice idk what’s up with that but it’s all good .Some of the clothing is overpriced but the outerwear and bodysuits are great .I wouldn’t buy those faux silk, crêpe weird textured styles if I were you.

I can’t agree with these reviews about poor customer service, the girls that work here have always been extremely helpful and sweet to me. They don’t pressure you into buying anything but will show you more options if you ask which is fine by me. I hate when people just try to sell you on anything and I appreciate that they don’t do that here. No one likes to be hounded! This store is way busier than their other downtown store which can be annoying but it does have a better selection. I would definitely recommend!

I love the clothes, I just can’t bring myself to go to that store and experience HORRIBLE customer service.
Why would customer service treat themselves as if they were Princesses? Aren’t they hired to help and like… do their job? Bizarre…
because of the customer service I prefer to spend my money elsewhere.

I’m also going to have to agree the customer service here is not good at all. I especially agree with Sandy that the salespeople are stuck up… I’m clueless as to why…
I love the clothes but will continue to shop online. The customer service in Soho sucks — I was standing by the counter waiting for help while the sales girl sees me — ignores me and walks by. When I walked up to her for help and she went to find me size — they didn’t have it. When she turned to tell me they were out of my size she made a hand gesture like when you shoo someone or something away. its a shame because I like many customers here like the clothes but am utterly put off by the customer service. This wasn’t the first time but def the worst… the girls in the other NYC location are somewhat better.

Staff has always been nothing but helpful and lovely to me. I love this location and they are happy to go out of their way for you if they do not have your size in store. They’ll offer to call the other locations (LA or or LES) or check online. Additionally, they have always asked if I needed any assistance with fittings and discuss other styles that might work best for my body (curvy, short waisted and busty).
Price points are spot on considering the process to make eco-​conscious fashion.
Cannot recommend enough! Reformation is having an «it» moment and hopefully it continues for a long time!

It it critical to note that this store has one thing well executed; their brand. They are advocates in sustainable fashion and seek to produce Eco-​friendly garments that still exude a fashion sense that is timeless.
The interior fit out of this store is quite worth noting, too. It’s a well-​thought out space and finely decorated, with a smattering of curated accessories and décor.
However, and it frustrates me to say this, but I agree with the majority of reviewers here. That is to say, the customer service is extremely poor. Having worked in retail for numerous years, there is no excuse for not greeting your customers once they enter your store. To not do so, reflects poorly on not only the employees but also, and largely so, the brand.
No employee or employer for that matter should rely on a store interior and its products to speak for themselves. To have a retail store? You are also meant to be providing a service. And to see upwards of three employees, with their backs to customers, whispering and muttering among themselves is a failure of the highest order.
Every person who walks through your store is a potential customer and potentially a new patron. To assume you need not acknowledge this and support the ideals of the brand in making people feel welcomed and assisted in their visit? Is ignorant and leaves a bitter experience upon someone such as myself who came to expect more from Reformation.
A shame.

It saddens me to give a less than stellar review for Ref. I’ve been a loyal customer for years. Really believed in their brand, and let’s face it, the designers just «get it» — definitely oozing cool.
However, over the past year, I’ve felt that they’ve let it get to their heads. The current salespeople are cranky and a bit stuck up. I got really badly burned buying a bunch of items recently, after which I was assured there would be no further markdowns at least for awhile, only to find out that the next morning, everything was reduced a further 50%. Instead of being understanding, the staff just rudely gave me a generic schpiel about how they’re eco-​friendly, etc — don’t see how that relates to treating a loyal customer as an individual.
Subsequent visits to the store felt like high school trips to the Abercrombie store in the mall — eye rolls and lots of heavy sighing each time i asked for assistance or some advice on styling.
Very disappointed to see such a cool brand just get too cool to treat their customers with respect. Surely a brand that believes in being kind to the earth should also extend some kindness towards their loyal customers and fans too, right?

I am not from New York and I was excited to buy there!!!
The staff didn’t help me and they looked really busy beeing on the computer.
I bought one leather short, 2 shirts.
Coming back home, I realized the white shirt was dirty and then when I put on the leather short, I realized after 4 hours only it was not a good product!
As I was trying to lower the leather shorts which always goes back up It tore!

Refreshing to find a boutique in SoHo that doesn’t completely brake the bank. I can’t say enough great things about this boutique… it’s the perfect spot to get a little dress for a night out, a light summer dress, or a killer accessory (I love their moto jackets!!). Some of the dresses can feel a bit cheap (made from polyester/​viscose), but most of the pieces are great finds. The staff is so friendly and helpful, but won’t be breathing down your neck while you shop. There’s a huge selection, and I could have bought one of everything. Plus everything is made from pieces of fabric larger fashion houses would have otherwise thrown away, so it’s sustainable! Great boutique. I can’t wait to check out the location on Ludlow.

Let me preface this review by saying that it’s really difficult for me to find a clothing company that I feel can do no wrong. However, not only does a visit to Reformation pretty much guarantee finding a new favorite article of clothing (or 12), but all of their garments are either vintage or created from recycled fabrics, ensuring a role in reducing the carbon footprint of our species. The five star review for this location is rightfully given– I have never seen the store look less than immaculate. In addition, their staff is a well selected group of dynamic, creative individuals who are incredibly helpful and friendly. In addition, they all have extensive experience in fashion, so their style advice is well worth listening to. I am absolutely positive that whoever wrote the other review is confusing this place with somewhere else. To sum it up, coming to this store is never unpleasant or dull. The only complaint I have is lacking the self control not to spend all of my cash on their stuff.
