Psychic New York Readings By Samantha

My friend saw this idiot tonight after a fight with her boyfriend. Samantha told her she needs a week long cleansing to clear the negativity between her and her boyfriend; she said that it’s normally $ 700, but she will do it for a mere $ 300 to «help her out.» She also led her to believe that the crystals in her shop guided him to where she was rather than me texting him her location so she didn’t end up as the newest episode headline of Law and Order: SVU while she wanders her little, southern behind all over NYC alone at night.
Seriously, folks, don’t waste your time. Any psychic who needs to be open ²⁴⁄₇ is probably one you should run from.

Had a reading by Samantha and thought for a Gypsy that she was pretty nice. My mistake!
When a couple months later wanted another reading she refused to read for me giving me their usual BS that she was busy or had an appointment in a few minutes.
These readers are only in it for the money and if one only wants a reading they are not interested… they want to do «work» for you, which is to clear up any situation that is negative going on in your life. This they Charge outrageous sums of money and of course its a «SCAM» because they DO NOT have the power to correct whats troubling you.
Her reading was OK… it was short and definitely not worth the money.

My actual exact rating for this shop, and for the reading by Donna, Samantha’s mother, is about 2.5 stars, but Unilocal allows assigning star ratings only in 1-​star increments. I visited the shop operated by Samantha and her mother, Donna, in late May 2011, back when it had been located in a small storefront at 178 Hester St. in Little Italy The sign on the door read Psychic Readings by Samantha, and the phone # on the sign, and on the shop’s flyer, was 646−761−3245. The shop apparently moved in short order to its current address further uptown in Manhattan, but the name of the shop remains the same, and the phone number is also the same.
And now, before I get to the meat of my review, I feel that it is important for me to give you some background information about myself, in case you have not read any of my other reviews of psychics here on Unilocal.In addition to being a scientific consultant, I am also a mystic, a spiritual healer and an intuitive. Because of these latter-​mentioned facts, I usually make it a practice to get readings from a few psychics whenever I travel to any city or region.
Since I’m a mystic, spiritual healer and intuitive myself, my life is very much filled with Divine love and grace, and my life always flows well, and I am very happy and very much at peace. I want to stress the fact that when I make visits to local psychics during my travels, I am not seeking help with any problems, nor am I seeking spiritual guidance, and rather, I seek them out and ask for a general life reading simply because Divinity/​Source/​God asks me to do so, and to have a fun way of connecting with other practitioners in the realms of the inner mystical and metaphysical arts.
So, when reading my reviews of psychics here on Unilocal or elsewhere, it may be helpful for you to bear in mind that I did not visit any of them with any problems or serious questions or wishes in mind, nor was I looking for predictions for the future, and, due to these facts, your own experience with the same psychics might be different than mine.
I walked into the shop and asked for a reading around dinnertime. There were two women on duty in the shop when I first walked in and asked for a reading. The younger woman, who looked like she was in her mid-​20s, and whom I learned was Samantha, seated me at a small table at the front of the shop, and then excused herself. Her mother, Donna, soon came to the table and sat down. Before we had even exchanged first names, Donna told me that initially her daugher Samantha had wanted to give me the reading, but that she (Donna) had offered to do the reading instead because both of them had sensed that I was a powerful psychic myself. So, Donna told me, she had volunteered to give the reading because she had many years more experience in the mystical realms than did her daughter Samantha.
We quickly agreed upon a full deck Tarot card reading and a palm reading (one palm); I think that the fee was about $ 70, not bad for NYC!). I did as I always do when getting a reading, and thus I told Donna, prior to the start of the reading, only my first name, date and place of birth, and the fact that I lived in Maryland and was staying in NYC for a week. I told her nothing else about myself until the reading had ended.
I feel that the quality of the reading from Donna was rather mediocre. While she and her daughter Samantha had earlier accurately sensed that I was a mystic and a psychic myself as soon as I had entered the shop, the reading itself was not very impressive. As noted above, Donna accurately reported that she sensed I was a mystic and a psychic, and she mentioned that I also seemed to have strong spiritual healing abilities. She also reported accurately that I seem to do a lot of writing (this was true), and she also sensed accurately that I was self-​employed, and that I have not worked in any type of salaried or mainstream job in over 10 years.
However, beyond those basics, when Donna tried to venture into other areas regarding my past and my current life, it seemed that she was largely guessing, and most of her reportage in these realms was either obviously incorrect, or was so vague and so overly-​generalized that it would have been true for most men of my age. She also reported quite confidently, and repeatedly (she must have mentioned this at least three times) that I had three daughters; this was entirely untrue, for I have never had any children, and she seemed to get a bit upset when I corrected her on this particular item at the end of the reading and she then tried to convince me that I must be mistaken.
So, not a very good reading from Donna, but not overly bad either! She definitely got a few basic things about me and my life entirely correct, and not in an overly-​generalized and vague way, but with good accuracy. As for the rest, well, meh!!!

Worst reading ever. She will tell you that you have too much negativity in your life for her to see a future. You won’t find happiness until you let go of the negativity and you can only do that with her help (and a $ 400 cleanse). She tells you it is bad luck to share the reading with a friend which is because she told me and my friend the exact same thing. She told us on the phone that a $ 10 reading was available and when we got there it was «only available from 9 to 5» even though we called her 15 minutes earlier. The woman obviously has no real ability and is hoping she can prey on some desperate people that will come back in hopes of finding happiness. This is a waste of time and money.
