Recently I hosted a wedding shower at The Nomad, and I wanted to find a creative florist to make a series of beautiful, out of the ordinary floral arrangements to fill the space of a very long table. The hotel recommended a few florists, including Prudence. After speaking with Arturo and Grayson, I chose Prudence Designs and I am thrilled that I did. They did an absolutely gorgeous job, exceeding all of my expectations. The arrangements were stunning — the flowers were exceptional and they very generously used very expensive flowers without an upcharge to me. The arrangements were so remarkable that everyone commented on them — they were simply exquisite. The other thing I would like to mention is that they were delightful to work with. Initially, I contacted another of the recommended florists, but the difference was like night and day. Grayson and Arturo were so easy, warm, fun and helpful. They also have impeccable taste. I felt confident they would take care of everything effortlessly and they did.
In New York, it is hard to find wonderful vendors who are priced reasonably and who do fantastic work, AND who are friendly, warm and genuinely helpful! This place gets an A+ in my book and I would recommend them to the most hard to please customer.

Grayson and Arturo did an amazing job on the flowers for our wedding! My (now) wife actually started to cry when she walked into our wedding space. They transformed the restaurant into an absolutely stunning space that exceeded our vision for what we thought was possible. The flowers were perfect and the number of guests that said something was remarkable. They were a pleasure to work with and I know my wife will be a customer of theirs for many years to come.

One of the most exclusive floral shops in NYC. I highly recommend it to anyone for any event or even just for a small flower arrangement. No only a Flower shop but they offer home furnishings as well with amazing antique furniture. Arturo and Grayson are the owners and two of the most heart warming individuals I met. They will work with you in every way manageable.

I walked in off the street with a random request for one single small flower to put in my new mini wearable planter which was pinned to my lapel of my jacket. Not only did they take care of me right away, they waved me away without letting me pay for the flower or their time. I will definitely use Prudence when I need larger flower arrangements in the future.

I have been a customer of Prudence Designs for many years. Grayson and Arturo have an eye for the most gorgeous flowers I have ever seen. I can always rely on the fact that when I order a bouquet from Prudence, the arrangement and the selection will blow me away.
Prudence recently moved to 347 W. 36^th, a few blocks from Penn Station which isn’t reflected yet on Unilocal for some reason.

i asked prudence to deliver flowers to a wake that i was attending. the family of deceased beamed over these flowers and for good reason! the arrangement was just gorgeous and classy and elegant against a wall of tacky carnation wreaths! anyway, i can’t say enough about prudence. i use them for everything.

My flower arrangement was put together by Arturo Quintero — he did a lovely job.
There were tons of orchids and this one very interesting flower — spikey and ever so beautiful.
This one was put together with more love than the calla lilies arrangement.

I got the most amazing beautiful boquet of flowers yesterday delivered to me at work. And yes, I did blush. And I was embarrassed in the lunch room.
Guys, if you want to knock your girl’s socks off and make her feel like she is on cloud nine, order her some flowers from Prudence Designs on a Monday so she can display them proudly on her desk all week while everyone who walks by just has to ask– who gave her the flowers?
I got my flowers on a friday afternoon so here they are sitting on my desk at home staring at me in the face. The scent/​pollen only made me sneeze twice yesterday at work. Allergies aside, I love everything about them. The flowers are a beautiful spring like mix of orangey-​pink roses, gerbera daisies, ORCHIDS!, and ranunculus. The orchids and gerbera daisies are my absolute favorite flower and if you didn’t know what ranunculus looks like, think of a miniature peony. The flowers are arranged in a chinese take out box wrapped in lime green tissue and cellophane. I love the take out box because I don’t have to put the flowers in a vase. They’re stuffed into a moist sponge cake. The flowers are also dressed up in lemon leaf. Thank god it’s not baby’s breath. Those are just fillers. This is an arrangement with class.
I went on the website to check out Prudence and I guess they do floral arrangements for parties as well. Can we say Oscar worthy? Pretty sweet. I love high end NYC.
I also love the daschund motif of Prudence. It reminds me of my friend’s dog Maggie.
Prudence Designs gets five stars alone just based on the arrangement. They’re a company with style, grace, creativity, and passion. I’ll be commissioning them for my next big event.

They have some very unique designs, including their flowers in a Chinese take-​out box that are just beautiful. Their service is very quick and efficient and I’ll never been disappointed with an order. They may seem expensive, but are worth every penny.
