History

Established in 2006.

Primp Daddy was created in 2006 by Morgan Hawes in Portland, Oregon, during the very early development of eyelash extension techniques and products.

Due to much demand [and a love for the city], Primp Daddy opened in Manhattan in 2010.

Primp Daddy and Morgan have been featured on BetterTV, XOJane, BeautyNewsNYC, Yahoo! Beauty, StyleCaster, and numerous other publications and blogs.

Meet the Business Owner

Morgan H.

Business Owner

Morgan graduated from Linfield College in 2006 and began the little-​known specialty of eyelash extensions. Shortly thereafter he created Primp Daddy.

Hearing of his mastery of this new service in 2007, Lavish Lashes approached Morgan to become an instructor. In the following years he continued internationally, teaching others techniques and educating on new materials. He also worked extensively on product, technique, and training development, helping to create what the industry is today.

Morgan has always loved New York, and in 2010 finally decided to make the jump from the West Coast. He now resides in Hell’s Kitchen with his partner (and soon, a dog).
