Not sure what her name is but the lady at the cash register just made my day today by being so friendly. Customer service is so important. While I tend to think that the sandwiches here are a little pricey(I can get a full blown burrito for the same price of a small sandwich here) they’re about average New York City prices, I absolutely love their avocado flatbread. It has cilantro, corn, tomatoes, and more yummy stuff. I used to get the sandwich with avocado and olives but once I tried the flatbread there was no going back. Vegetarians and avocado lovers, give it a try!

Solid place with good coffee and above average oatmeal. Service is variable. They were out of decaf one day and I didn’t have 20 minutes to wait until they brewed more. Overall, a solid place to grab breakfast. Haven’t tried lunch or dinner food there.

I love this location, it’s fairly new so it is super clean and neat. The food is always great and the staff are beyond sweet! I love their upbeat attitude and smiles; whether it is at 7:30am or 5pm the staff is always so happy which makes me instantly happy too.

I’ve been coming to this location for than a year. The staff is always friendly and helpful however sometimes they will laugh out loud in front of you which will leave you with a lot of thought. The food is always fresh and great. Would recommend to everyone, for specifically moroccan soup and some particular sandwiches.

This is the best Pret location I have ever been to in the city. The staff-at all hours of the day-are so charming, friendly and bend over backwards to make customers happy. They are extremely efficient but I honestly wouldn’t mind lingering if I ever had to wait because the staff is so nice! I always order black iced tea with a lemon and today decided to try coffee for the first time in ages(I’m sensitive to caffeine). The lovely woman with curly hair gave it to me on the house! She for sure made a loyal customer out of me. THANKYOU! I look forward to seeing you Monday morning :) Also, Pret makes fantastic plain croissants, they have a crispy flaky exterior but the inside has the buttery chew and pull that even most French chain bakeries here can’t achieve. I’ve done the research.

Love this location, they’re always restocking and I’ve never gone there and not get whatever salad or sandwich I planned on getting. Fast service, inexpensive and delicious food.

Just got into the city on a Sunday. Most places closed, came in here for a quick bite, honestly expecting little. Very clean, great selection of healthy foods. Also big compliment to Amena.(sp?) Very gracious and helpful. We were extremely pleased. And I’m fussy:).

Feels silly writing a review about a chain-store — you either like them or you don’t. I am a big fan, mainly due to this location. I’ve been coming here regularly because it’s near work — I like the convenience and most of all, the friendliness of the staff. They are extremely efficient, with multiple registers and short lines. Yes, the food is pricey, but consider their location. I will occasionally get their half size sandwiches or soups for days when I am not that hungry but need something to eat. Their sandwiches are good – I like the crusty bread and the greens, although sparse, were very fresh. Once I won a free food item(a brownie) from a color-guessing game— I’ve only seen that happen once, but I thought it was a cute gesture(with the bell ringing and congratulations after guessing the color correctly LOL) My morning ritual at Pret is a large soy latte and their croissant with ham and cheese. I find their lattes to be a lot cheaper than SB(and all the other coffee shops nearby). The large unsweetened soy latte($ 3-something) — I will highly recommend. I am also hooked to their croissant with ham and cheese!(I bought it once to save for lunch, but it’s not that great after microwaving) And for those who need something sweet once in awhile, their small chocolate bars(dark with sea salt) is great as well. 5 Stars — for cheerful employees and affordable lattes!

I mostly love this location, which is why I left it four stars– I don’t want to bring down the rating. But I have a specific bone to pick. I come in on most Mondays, and I love the kale chicken Caesar salad. For the past three Mondays I’ve visited, however, they’ve been trying to pass off romaine and other greens as kale. I’m from California. I know what kale looks like. Bring it back or stop advertising it as kale, please. Preferably the former as I do love the salad when it’s made correctly.

Great variety of delicious food. Love the staff, really friendly. The Posh Cheddar is one of my favorites. Coffee is also good.

***Standard seating, Fully stocked fresh food, Friendly staff *** Like my previous review on Pret, this location has fully stocked fresh and healthy items. The seating is bar stool type. Located close to the 4,5,6.

Unfortunately I always have an unpleasant experience at PRET — it always smells very strange inside and their wifi never works. No one seems to bother fixing it. I much prefer their competitors.

They rip you off on the soup. The container is never even close to full. I have had this happen consistently so don’t think it was any anomaly. Also found issues with avocado being brown, eggs being way over cooked, etc. Avoid this location. There is another on 23rd between 5th and 6th.

Clean, friendly, inexpensive, and tasty! What’s not to like? Living in SF, when I get a chance to eat at a Pret, I will. This one was my personal favorite this trip, mainly due to the service I received, the staffers I spoke with smiled and engaged and helped me. Enjoy!

Yo, hold up a second. Are you guys really telling me you’re surprised that a sandwich in NYC costs $ 7? Are you Siri? Are y’all really gonna cry about that? To all the naysayers below — consider what you’re paying for: an article of sustenance that is prepared the same day, probably within a couple of hours before you purchase it. How long do you think that tuna salad from your local deli has been chilling in the fridge? How many times has it been stirred after forming a nasty crust? Answer: approx. infinity plus 2. I’ve been to this particular location several times and have never been disappointed by the freshness of the crop, so to speak. Taste has been on par every time, and most importantly I never felt sick after my meal, which, as many of you may know, is quite a common occurrence for patrons of grab and go places in our town. So eat up and shut up!

I don’t understand why would people come here to spend so much on a thin sandwich or tiny salad. There are better salad bars of sandwich shops than Pret a Manger!

Starving, with little time to search for a decent lunch, I ran in and grabbed a plastic wrapped sandwich and a drink($ 10). Unfortunately, there are way too many generic, boring chains like this popping up all over Manhattan these days. My sandwich was okay, but I just feel whenever I spend in places like this(Chipotle, Duane Reed, Starbucks) I’m contributing to the homogenization of NYC and it makes me sad.

Holy smokes the coffee here is an abomination. What the heck guys? Do you mix in wood chips, mud, and NYC street sludge into the grinds? Nasty stuff. That being said it’s always nice to have another lunch option in the area when I want to grab something quick to eat during the work day. Dropped in here a few days ago to check out the new place. Brand spanking new location near where I work. Clean, bright, and plenty of seating. Smaller than most locations though. Diverse selection of freshly made sandwiches, salads, and wraps. Hearty and tasty soup selections. Friendly and quick counter staff. Kind of pricey though for what you get. Also, avoid getting coffee here. Many other spots like Fika close by to grab a better cup o’ joe.

It’s okay but I find it kinda pricey. The small cup of soup… and it is SMALL… is $ 4. Meanwhile I think it tastes like water. I had the chicken noodle soup. The sandwich was only okay for me. I’ve had fuller sandwiches for the same price. And they are just as fresh. I rather have a Banh Mi sandwich which I can get nearby for a little over $ 5 and it’s huge. I am quite sure they have their audience and I wish them luck in this new location. Their brownie is really good though. Probably the best that I had ever. Just not crazy about their prices.

A great new addition to my lunch choices! This new PRET A MANGER opened today for business with a big BANG! They treated everybody to a free lunch– sandwiches, drinks, popcorn, and brownie lunch bag. Best wishes to this new PRET A MANGER!
