Pizza is phenomenal! Thin crust with a crunch, I loved every second of it. Not giving the 5 stars due to service. Outdoor seating! Just moved to the area and have already found my go to spot! Had an dinner there two Sunday’s past. Got the mushroom pizza I would eat this every damn day. Got the veggie pizza too with the pesto base it was solid as well but nothing compares to the shroom! Got a goat cheese and beet salad to start things off(clearly I was so excited about the pizza that came first) and it was delicious as well. Enough to share for two people. Waitress was only thing that didn’t add to the experience, she certainly was not as excited to be there as I was. Last Sunday I did take out, pizza took 45 minutes. Got the cheese pie with truffle and had myself a nice little fat Sunday. Once again pizza is delicious!

Decent beer and wine list. Great cozy Italian restaurant for a casual outing with friends or new acquaintances. Reliably good thin-crust pizza with some creative topping mixtures. Be sure to try the Salsicca Dolce if you’re a sucker for caramelized onions like me and split your pizza in half to try two types at once. I can also vouch for the bruschetta and the garlic bread.

The cheesy garlic bread was amazing! I went with a friend and we ordered that and two personal pizzas(shroomtown and another that I can’t remember). Ordering those three items was definitely enough for two people. We could barely finish those, but somehow did. The shooomtown was good, but I definitely enjoyed the other pizza better. It just felt like I was eating mushrooms only. I would definitely visit again to try their other pizzas/appetizers!

Strangest experience at a restaurant. Saw the menu outside: $ 10 chicken Parmesan sandwich. Great, went in, sat at bar and didn’t look at menu when offered, I just ordered the sandwich. Cute place, nice music playing, lousy lousy sandwich: dry, bland. So the waitress at bar brings me the check and it’s for $ 14. I think, that’s odd I must have looked at wrong item on the menu outside. So I hand her a $ 20. But then I pull up the menu from the restaurant’s site on my phone and sure enough it’s $ 10. I inform the waitress about this thinking she had made a mistake on the bill, and she asks if I looked at that price online. I said it’s not only online but on the menu in the window. She said that the prices have gone up and it’s on the regular menu given out to diners. She offered to adjust the price, which I said sure to. Then she comes back and returns my $ 20 saying I didn’t have to pay. I said no, why would she do that, I want to pay. She responded: I don’t want the money just take it. I was stunned. I again insisted on paying and she responded that she didn’t want my money., just to take it. I still have no idea why she treated me that way. Did she think I was trying to cheat the restaurant out of $ 2? Anyway, if management is reading this just clip an updated menu to your window! I couldn’t even leave a tip as all I had were $ 20’s, and I wasn’t going to ask her for change after that. First time I’ve never left a tip. Cute restaurant. Lousy chicken Parmesan sandwich. Very rude waitress.

Decent place– would recommend going during happy hour to get a free bottle of wine with a pizza. I would recommend the mushroom pizza and the cheesy garlic bread. Not bad at all. The sister restaurants include vezzo in midtown and luzzos in EV. All the great and have great pizzas. Fun spot, near a bunch of bars to go afterwards. Luzzos is probably my favorite, but this would be my second choice

such a cozy restaurant! I have been to Posto couple of times and I think Classica and Big pineapple are the best. You can pick two choices(not sure if you can pick more than 2 choices). I like that the crust is very thin, which u can taste more cheese and less calories than thick crust. Garlic bread with cheese was good, but I wouldn’t order that before my main pizza comes… because it made me so full that I could only eat one and a half slice of the pizza and had to put the rest of them into a togo box… overall, I really liked this restaurant and will keep visiting !

Best thin crust pizza in the city. Shroomtown all the way. I can literally eat this pizza every day. Downside, it is not filling due to it being exquisitely thin, so the price adds up if you want to order enough. If they don’t deliver to you try their sister restaurants Tappo or Vezzo.

One of the best pizza spots I’ve been too. They give you a pretty big variety of toppings to put on your pizza. I like thin crust pizza and that’s exactly what you get from this place. Try the cheesy garlic bread as an appetizer you won’t be disappointed

330pm-630pm Happy hour — buy a bottle of wine and get a 16 inch pizza for free! Toppings are extra. This is an amazing deal for two people. Best thin crust pizza I’ve ever had with the best buzz I’ve ever had. I listened to the other reviewers, got shroomtown, and was far from disappointed.

This was my first time having pizza in New York and it didn’t disappoint. Its been a while since I’ve had Posto and I’m still thinking about it. We got two large thin crust pizza’s and it was enough for 6 of us, 5 of them being small eaters. I thought that the pizza tasted great and the fresh ingredients really came through. We custom ordered our pizza’s so I cannot comment on the regular available pizzas. But from what I was told, the Shroomtown is probably the best pizza that they have.

The spicy beef pizza was excellently cooked, and the crispy crust gave a nice charcoal aftertaste to the whole thing. I loved it! However, it was a bit disappointing that they didn’t have any spicy olive oil, which I believe should come hand-in-hand with pan pizzas. The service wasn’t as I hoped, we felt rushed to sit and order. We came in with coats, and although there was a coat hanger, and the booths were small, they didn’t offer to take them away. They served us crappy fountain drinks, and for some reason, the waiter gave me attitude when I asked for the water to be returned. I don’t get it. Overall, I might order again from this place, but only to take away, I didn’t like the place as much. And it was too poorly lit for me to see the place or the people I was sitting with, so I’m better off eating their excellent pies while watching netlfix.

The cheesy garlic bread is divine. Both light and cheesy and not overly garlicy. Seriously the best garlic bread ever. We tried the shroomtown pizza. The combination of mushrooms and truffle oil was really good. The ultra thin, crispy crust is more reminiscent of pizza in Italy than what I would consider a «New York-style» pizza. Because I had already scoped out Unilocal for photos, we ordered one order of bread and a personal size pizza which is more than enough for two people. The service was friendly and attentive. When we forgot to grab our card after paying the bill the bus boy chased us down to give it back.

This was the perfect little Italian restaurant to try on a quiet Sunday evening in Gramercy. We came around 5:45p, and there were few tables left. The interior is cozy, casual and on the smaller side. The service remained exceptional from the moment we walked in to paying the bill. We started off with the caesar salad($ 8 dollars) which was very good and big enough to split between two people. As for the pizza, if you prefer thin crust, this place is for you. We decided on a large sweet sausage pizza with caramelized onions($ 25 dollars), which was good. Thin crust meant you could taste all of the toppings, but the crust wasn’t outstanding to me. It did have good crunch, though. Maybe it’s just preference. We will be back — especially to try the spinach salad and shroomtown pie!

So I recently moved to the East Village and I’ve been to most of the pizza places around here. My girlfriend found this cozy little restaurant so she recommended that I should check it out. They have a great happy hour deal(buy a pitcher or bottle of wine = free 16′ pie or 2 for 1 drafts). We started with their cheesy bread. This is a lot to handle for two people. You get about eight slices of these huge breadsticks covered in melted cheese. It could honestly be enough for a family of six. It comes along with a tasty marinara sauce for dipping. The pizza I had was so delicious, but I can’t seem to find the name on the menu. It was topped with chorizo and avocado and the second I took a bite, it reminded me of eating tacos. It was a taco pizza. I hope they still have this pie even though I can’t seem to find it on the website menu. I would definitely recommend to give this restaurant a try. It’s definitely a little gem for pizza!

Most awesome ultra thin crust pizza place in nyc. The mushroom pizza is delicious. Happy hour goes like this: free pizza with a bottle of vino. Very small place and intimate atmosphere. Many pizzas to choose from and nice selection of wine. No reservations offered. Thin like cracker pizza!

They say that Eskimos have dozens, or even hundreds, of words for snow. New Yorkers should have just as many for pizza; choosing pizza in NYC is dependent on the situation. There are those places you go to with your homies to drink bud light, watch the game, and nosh on fluffy crust every topping pizza. Posto isn’t that place. It’s the place you go to when you want to enjoy a perfectly crispy thin crust, minimal topping pizza, paired with a nice glass of Williamette Valley Pinot Noir. I have room in my life for both. You might think that a candle lit dinner at Posto is much more of a hassle, it isn’t. The wait is never bad, and the prices are very reasonable. One word of advice: eat the pizza in a timely manner. It’s easy to lose track of time when you’re enjoying wine and conversation, but it’s a fact that thin crust pizza gets cold fast, especially in the non-summer months.

Wow. My friends and I walked in here because we had a mixed group of people who just wanted to drink and people who wanted to nosh, and their pitcher of beer or bottle of wine + free pizza pie deal was perfect. This isn’t your crappy cardboard Crocodile Lounge pizza, this is legit, thin crust, perfect sauce, good cheese pizza. I would have paid for this pizza. Given a pitcher is $ 26 for Peroni(eh), Gun Hill IPA, or Ommegang Witte(hey, better deal), you basically do. With four of us sharing a pitcher, we realized this amounted to an exactly 0.50 cost savings per person over getting individual $ 7 beers. But hey, «free» pizza! Their service was surprisingly good for a place with a deal like this, including one server picking up a water pitcher almost subconsciously(and quite impressively) when I rattled the ice in my empty cup.

Pretty good for what it specializes in — very thin crust personal pizzas that are not too much nor too little for a normal meal. I also had the quinoa and avocado salad, which was quite delicious, and very generous with the feta and avocado. Great staff and friendly service in a small and dimly lit, yet casual, hideout.

I work around the area and decided to give this place a go, and I must say… I just became a big fan! Firstly, with the more prominent issue of sky-rocking pizza inflation prices every year, the price for these pies are not so bad. As for other places, a couple of dollars less you’ll get what you expect from a regular pizza joint. Here you can really tell they focus on quality as you get a thin crust pizza that’s topped off with freshly ingredients. My recommendation is to try the classica and breadsticks. Very basic combo but effective! One large pie is great for two peeps top that off with an appetizer you’re pretty much set for a filling. Service was very friendly and attentive, and the outdoor seating was very comfortable and spacious, not cramped like other places. I was very satisfied with the whole dine in experience and definitely will be coming back to try more pies!

There are many a pizza places to visit while one is in New York City but none with thinner pizza crust than Posto. I’m talking paper thin crispy crust here people. But hey it makes you feel like you are being sorta healthy still so I will pretend pizza is a vegetable and go with that :) I came here with a girlfriend the other night and it was pretty packed. We waited a couple minutes and got lucky when a table opened up. We started out with the beet and goat cheese salad which was surprisingly good! It could have used a little more goat cheese for the amount of beets we were given but what can ya do. Now onto the pizza. We wanted both the Classico and the Formaggio Bianco so luckily they do half and half pizzas. Our pizza was perfectly cooked and honestly really delicious. I’m partial to the Formaggio Bianco with arugula I think that was the real star here but the Classico was also very good. Two girls downed the entire pizza and had no shame. It wasn’t crazy filling bc of the thin crust so keep that in mind if you have a lot of people. Great little spot
