Pnc Bank

Fine branch of the regional bank. Spacious seating area with usual tea & coffee & Bloomberg TV & newspapers & financial magazines, 4 tellers, 4 banking agents on staff at most times, 4 ATMs pre-​security, customer service has been consistently nice over last 5 years here, super convenient location.

WORST BANK EVER! I closed my account which apparently was never closed due to bank error, and I wasn’t notified. I went into the branch twice and eventually spoke with the branch manager who said there was «nothing he could do» but made a good show of caring about the results.
I called the number I was told to call, was sent to another number, and this is essentially the story of my relationship with PNC– telephone tag. Each time I get someone on the phone, they tell me I have to call someone else and it proceeds to go on that way for (I kid you not) 7 months!
Attempting to do what he suggested, I call and email the branch manager who «really cared» and don’t get a response. Maybe I just wanted to let him know about the typo on his business card, which pretty much sums up this poor excuse for a bank.

$ 7.50 to get a new debit card, when I’ve had the old one so long its falling apart? In a word: GREEDY.

Best branch ever, tellers are awesome, security guard seems like apart of the team. Managers are very helpful
