Brandy walks my sweet baby every weekday and he just loves her. We count on a walk a day and she is reliable and always leaves a report card after each walk. Happy to recommend their services.

We have been using Petaholics since about 2012 with Karen Tavares as our dog walker. When we moved to another area in Harlem she came highly recommended by other clients within our building. She is absolutely wonderful with our Marley and he loves her. He gets excited every time she comes to walk him and she is very patient with him as he can be very stubborn and doesn’t like the rain. She leaves reports so we know what he did each day and at what time. She is very personable and professional and it is obvious she loves her job.
Petaholics as a business is wonderful, very easy to schedule walks, they are very accommodating to our sometimes changing schedules, and Roxana is wonderful and easy to communicate with.

I was very excited to find Petaholics when we lived in Mnhttn (2012 – 2014). There was a slight annoying hurdle to answer all the initial questions but once you are in they are very accommodating. Roxanna in the office was great and responded well to my short notice requests. Peter and Gary were there to stay in our apartment with our two kids while we were out of the city and I was confident they were well cared for. They were also able to administer our cat’s insulin injections. Worth every penny!

highly recommend this company for it’s puppy program! And ask for Christopher if you live in Brooklyn! He got my pup through the potty training stage with flying colors. I have been using Petaholics for years for cat sitting. Leticia is a great sitter, very reliable and conscientious. Daily updates with pictures and short messages provide me with a peace of mind that my cat is well taken care of while I’m traveling.

I rescued my dog Wendy from the Human Society a little over a year ago. As a teacher with a very busy schedule, I was worried about her being home all day alone. I initially found a walker, by word of mouth. She was not with a company, very kind, but unreliable. I was never sure what time she came, what happened, or her consistency with Wendy. When the school year ended I decided to move in a different direction. I did extensive research on dog walkers, asked friends, and interviewed candidates. One consistent theme kept coming up… Petahholic.
In my online research they were well put together. They followed up quickly on all of my phone calls and e-​mails. But above all, they assured me that all of their employees loved dogs.
It was the moment of truth; it felt like a first date. Beau, my perspective dog walker, was coming to meet Wendy. I did not have time to straighten up when he promptly rang the bell. Wendy seemed nervous, as my roommate and I were. But when he came into the apartment I felt my apprehension melt away. He was friendly and outgoing. He immediately bent to meet Wendy and asked questions about her habits. We talked about everything from her tepidness in the wind to bathroom habits. He immediately struck me as someone who loves dogs, and showed me dog accessories that he carries in his bag.
He even humored me and came with me on her usual walk around the block so I could show him how she always tries to sneak into the CVS and where the flower man scares her. He immediately put my mind at ease and I felt comfortable and confident about his ability, responsibility, and most of all — love for dogs.
Since then, and it has only been a few weeks, Beau has been a wonderful addition to Wendy’s daily schedule. He is consistent in his time. Every day Beau leaves a note detailing the time that he comes and leaves, the route that he takes, what Wendy does on the walk (bathroom, playing, interactions with other dogs), and then a personalized note (which never judges my status of my apartment). I sometimes write back to him. This makes me feel like we are in a conversation and I am part of Wendy’s daily walk. I am so happy to have someone consistently there to walk, take care of, and give little Wendy a little love!
I highly recommend Petaholic to anyone in need of walking. If Beau is any indication of the quality of employees, then I am sure that they are all WONDERFUL!

I have nothing but good things to say about Petaholics and wonderful sitter Cynthia. Communications with Jordan and Roxana are always prompt, professional, and courteous, booking a sitter is SO easy — just an email away — and they always have availability, even for last minute trips. We trust Cynthia completely with our two cats, and she always sends photos and funny messages after her visits. We’ve been using this service about 6 – 8 times a year since 2009, and prices have barely increased since then. Do not hesitate to book Cynthia for your furry family members!

I used their dog walking services and they were wonderful. Their whole staff is very professional and quick to respond to any inquires or requests. The walker always left a note describing the details of the walk and my home always looked exactly as I left it that morning. I have no complaints and they seem to be genuinely concerned for your pet’s happiness and well being, which is a great feeling to have when someone else is caring for your pet. I would highly recommend them!

After Googling upper east side dog walker I found Petaholics and I’m so glad I did.
They walk my dog peanut Everyday and I really enjoy the notes and pictures from Peanut’s walks plus they have a GPS system where they have to check in and check out on their phones so I know someone was there to walk my dog.

These guys are great! I used their dog walking service and received consistently excellent service along the way. Petaholics only provides private/​solo dog walks (so no group walks), which ended up working out really well for my dog. He bonded with the walker and seemed very comfortable and happy spending time with him. Even better, I would receive an email from Petaholics each time the dog walker would start and finish a walk. Additionally, the dog walker would leave a paper note in the apartment, including the date, time of the walk, where they went, whether the dog went potty, as well as any stories about what happened during the walk.
In addition to the dog walking service itself, I was also very happy with how easy it was to schedule walks, pay bills, etc. Virtually all communication was done via email, and Petaholics was always very quick to respond. I had to make modifications to the dog walking schedule several times, and I never ran into any issues.
All in all, I’m very impressed with how courteous and professional Petaholics is, and highly recommend their services.

Went away for the weekend and I was very skeptical about leaving my cat Mitzy alone because she’s been very attached lately. I searched for some pet sitting companies and Petaholics seemed to have pretty good ratings based on service and pricing. I called about 2 weeks in advance to make a reservation and to my surprise, one of their sitters came a couple of days later to get to know Mitzky and see where everything was. After my weekend away, I came home to a clean litter box and a happy kitty– all I ask for! Great service, extremely caring and conscientious. I will definitely be using them more often.

I’m mega allergic to cats, so by default I love love LOVE dogs… and I have some very cute, feisty, Yorkies that needed to be walked while I was visiting in that area on my business trip. They came everyday to pick up my dogs, and had a GPS check in system that actually let me know they were coming by to pick up my pups from my hotel while I was at
say the least it’s a fantastic service and I suggest it to the fullest! I’ll definitely be calling them up again!

We have a very spoiled pug, Mona, who hates to have her nails trimmed. We always tried to have the vet do it, but it was clear that our dog was (often) more and more traumatized after each visit. She wouldn’t even let us near her paws for weeks after a trim.
We just had Diana from Petaholics come and trim Mona’s nails. I held Mona while Diana did the trimming, and it was incredible. She still squirmed and was clearly not happy with the situation, but she didn’t squeal or cry, and within a few minutes it was over. Diana was able to establish a rapport with her, and Mona shockingly seemed to calm down and trust her. This was just the first visit, and even though Diana assured me that it would become easier, it was already enough for me to be very impressed based on past experiences. Even if it doesn’t get easier, it’s still much better than anything I’ve seen. We’ll definitely be calling them again.

This place is great! They’re great for helping out with people who have long work days and feel guilty about leaving their pets at home. They have awesome customized care plans and are really affordable.
I always feel comfortable leaving my dog in their trustworthy hands for dog walking, dog sitting, or grooming. Their dog-​walking program is great — it’s a one on one dog walk so I know that the dog walker is paying complete attention to my dog and it’s the same walker every day so my dog can have a good relationship with the dog walker. Also, I get notes from the dog walk so I know that my dog was actually walked and the walker is paying attention to my dog.
Prices are affordable and Petaholics id definitely a highly recommended company to use!

Seriously? A good pet walker in a city as busy and crowded as NYC. this is just a whisker away from sweet nirvana!
My friend has a German shepherd who needs constant walking and suffers from separation anxiety whenever she leaves him alone at home. So she went to Petaholics for pet walkers. Mind blown! They are so gentle and loving towards him. They walk him, play with him and genuinely care for him like their own. And they even give updates about his walks. So cute. :)
Having someone care for your pet when you are real busy can really take the stress off of your mind. And Petaholics do a great job at it.

I’m amazed at the quick service. All the staff are very professional. My office is conveniently located on the Upper West Side and a highly recommend dog walkers Katie and Valerie. Always on time, extremely friendly. My dog which is a golden retriever is always pleased to see Katie. I highly recommend working with Petaholics and would never work with any other company. Rates are affordable for everyone and there also is insurance. I walk my dog 5 days a week Monday through Friday.

Petaholics provides a great at-​home service. Its great that a company is so dedicated to pet owners. Reserving my puppys’ appointment was as easy as 1 2 3. I first called for information, and Jordan was very helpful over the phone. He answered all the questions i had and even gave me suggestions on training my dog further with commands and such. Right now we just focus on walking down NYC streets and making it back safely… maybe i should get a walker: p
I signed up for the Puppy pilot program. I received the half hour treatment for my dog which allowed him to be walked and re-​fed while i was gone. I have used this service twice and my dog seemed happy after the walk, i.e. not abused. The people at petaholics were polite and helpfu, and i recommend them to all pet owners.

I am the owner of two cats and a frequent business traveler. After my sister who had been my long-​standing cat sitter ended up moving too far away to take care of them anymore, I was in desperate need of someone new. An Internet search led me to Petaholics, and I sent in a request. Although my area is not usually served by the company, owner Jordan Kaplan made an exception and offered to take care of my kitties as he happens to live quite close by.
After having a trusted family member take care of my cats, I was filled with much trepidation during Jordan’s first visit as I am usually on the road for a few weeks at a time. I worried whether they would be properly taken care of, let alone become comfortable with a total stranger. To my great relief, Jordan’s first time with the cats went very well. He was constantly in contact with me, not only responding to my emails but sending me his own updates as well. He would even send pictures of both of my cats every now and then, something I didn’t expect but greatly appreciated!
I have now been using Petaholics for over half a year, and I am a completely satisfied customer. My work schedule changes often, sometimes while I am on the road, and Jordan has been nothing but accommodating in terms of rescheduling dates and not charging when cancellation takes place in advance. His staff is similarly responsible when I have questions regarding billing matters, etc. I would not hesitate to recommend Jordan and his services for anyone who is looking for a superlative cat sitter who can make you feel at ease when you have to be away from your pets!
