I, my daughter and friends of ours have come here as loyal customers.
Unfortunately, the manager of the store does not seem to care about his customers or their pets.
My cats needs prescription food and I have been waiting for 4 weeks. Every time I return to pick up the promised order, I am told the «manager has not ordered it.»
Two options: get rid of the manager or I and my friends and family members have to find a better store.
This one is run by an UNPROFESSIONAL manager known as STEFANOS who is simply BAD.
Just want to be clear, the rest of the staff is lovely and very helpful and I can only say good and complimentary things about them.
They surely deserve a better manager, too.

Love this place. The guys who work there are really nice and helpful. They even helped me get my new dog in his carrier… Which wasn’t easy!
A small store, but that’s expected for Ny. They have a great selection of dog food, toys, treats, etc.
Definitely recommend if you’re a new dog owner and need some advice on what to buy!

I read somewhere that owning a large dog costs about $ 900 a year. Hoopla and noise, I tell you! I can spend about $ 250 a month at Pet Central. Granted, it’s a pricey store, but it’s so worth it.
I love this store because they carry a wide variety of raw and natural pet foods (dehydrated, dry, frozen, etc), as well as organic soaps, supplements, etc. And their treat stock can’t be beat!
Toy selection is a little mediocre, but I can always find something nice to bring home to my girl!
Best customer service ever! Ignacio deserves special recognition. He is knowledgeable and immensely friendly. But really, the entire staff is great!
Also, they now have a repeat customer discount card, and they can store your credit card on file… great, now it’s even easier for me to spend money there!

Larissa helped us and really made the experience great! Petco had been jerking me around sending me from store to store. We walked in to Pet Central and Larissa immediately presented us with the special harness we needed in a size that petco didn’t even carry. Then she recommended a shampoo that would help our bulldog. Polish the visit off with a baggie of free samples and you have a repeat customer. Thanks Larissa.

Sometimes you randomly run into a place that helps you tick something off your list of things to do. Such was the case when I was on 6th avenue shopping and needed to get some pet food. I had no idea Pet Central was there, but I was super glad to find it!
The store is relatively small, nestled in between a few other stores but it’s big sign catches your attention right away. Inside are shelves stocked full of food, treats, pet equipment and more. I was surprised and happy to see that they carried almost every brand of both canned and pouch based food that my finicky cat enjoys eating. This was the first time I’ve ever seen a cat section in any pet store carry so many different brands at one time. Big kudos for that!
The gentleman behind the counter was friendly and got us checked out quick. I was very happy with my transaction here. Recommended!

Let’s get it out of the way: this place is pricey. But, its also great. Not only do they have an impressive stock for a small store, but their service is out of this world. A great neighborhood find!

I have both a cat and a dog, this store is the only place that is consistently stocked with what I need. They have a lot of the specialty foods that are harder to find. They even have a small freezer for raw foods, where you can make specialty dishes for your pets. If they’re out of something, you can request it and they’ll call you when it’s in stock and even put it aside for you.
They are primarily geared for pet foods, but there are some outfits, toys and leashes.
Aaaaaaaand, they have coupons! HOLLA! Check for their list of sale items on their personalized flyer in the store. Yup yup.
