History
Established in 2011.
After facing the trials of her own big-city move post-university, founder Sarah Hill realized that there was a real need for reliable information and support tailored to young professionals and students moving to New York City for the first time. These newcomers face a unique set of issues including social, professional and financial. Not to mention the questions and concerns of family members. Sarah is uniquely qualified to address all of these issues. As a young New York City transplant herself, a graduate of the University of Massachusetts (Amherst) with a degree in Real Estate and Entrepreneurship, an employee of a large property management firm located in midtown Manhattan, and a New York State licensed real estate agent, Sarah brings a high level of commitment and quality of service to her clients.
Meet the Business Owner
Sarah H.
Business Owner
Sarah Hill graduated from UMass Amherst in 2010 with a degree in Real Estate and Entrepreneurship. After spending six months in London she landed a job at a property management company in Midtown Manhattan, and had to relocate to NYC in only four days. She had to quickly adapt and learn the ins and outs of the city on her own since she was not only unfamiliar with the concrete jungle, but she knew only a few people.
After becoming settled, she realized that many people fresh out of college were relocating to NYC and were also feeling overwhelmed with the move, as Sarah did. She used her experience from working at a property management firm and being a broker and began blogging about tips and tricks and other valuable information about things to look out for when moving to NYC. Sarah Hill’s blog grew a large audience and she realized there was a large demand for reliable information on moving to NYC. She created PSofNYC to work one on one with people who need that extra help!
