Specialties

Dr. Perlroth received her DDS degree from New York University College of Dentistry. She was an honor student in Aesthetic Dentistry and a recipient of an award for proficiency in Endodontics. Upon graduation, she worked as a Resident in Dental Medicine at New York Methodist Hospital. Dr. Perlroth has completed a two year clinical program for Implantology: Surgical and Prosthetics at NYU College of Dentistry. She is a Certified Invisalign Provider.

Dr. Perlroth is a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, as well as a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. She is a member of the American Dental Association, American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, and New York County Dental Society.

Established in 1976.

The practice was originally started by Anthony Chillura, DDS, who has been practicing dentistry since 1976. Tatiana Perlroth, DDS, is the current owner of Pearl Dental NYC, formerly Wall St Dental.

Dr. Perlroth has been educated in dentistry at three dental schools, in the Ukraine, Russia and at NYU. She is the recipient of two prestigious fellowships awarded to just two dental students in New York each year.

Her love for her craft and insistence on ensuring every patient has the healthiest, most beautiful teeth and smile possible are evident from the moment you meet her to when you leave the office with toothpaste and toothbrushes designed for your teeth and with dental care advice you are unlikely to get anywhere else!

Dr. Tatiana Perloth is an excellent dentist. She is very gentle, provides enough details so that the patient is aware of every step that she is about to take. Patiently answers all questions and provides a lot of hygiene related suggestions. My teeth certainly felt cared for.
Her staff is equally nice, gentle and professional. I am very happy to have switched from my previous dentist to Dr. Perloth. I highly recommend her for your dental needs.

Dr. Perlroth is the best. She is energetic and has a very compassionate bed side manner. She’s spotted issues before they became a real problem. The office staff is also top notch and very helpful with insurance and scheduling appointments.

I was never a fan of going to the dentist but I think I might have found the perfect dentist to overcome my fear. I was referred to Dr. Perlroth by Dr Jamali to have the normal xray and cleaning in addition to identifying the cause of a pressure pain stemming from the back of the mouth. She was really nice and explaibed to me everything from the xrays, what the problem was, what are ways to help maintain mouth health.
Her staff was very courteous and professional. I have never seen such excellent service at a dentist office ever. I wish I had caught the person’s name who took my xrays.
The best advice Dr. Perlroth will give you is «preventive is key». I totally agree with her honesty in an industry where many try to exploit patients. She would never tell you that you need any drilling or procedures if you really don’t need it. Because of my joyable experience, I’m not scared to go back for the routine cleaning etc. Plus her goodie bag is amazing!
I highly recommend Dr. Perlroth and I have NEVER recommended any dentist. She truly cares for her patients.

More than 2 years later, this place still gets 5 stars from me! In that time, I’ve had a handful of different types of insurance and Marilyn has been able to handle everything like a pro! I’ve also moved to UES which doesn’t make for a fun commute (compared with being able to walk to my appointments) but it’s worth it!
They now have an online system that sends you reminders for your appointment and you can confirm them online as well. This last time around, I got the date wrong on my appointment and showed up 2 days early for my cleaning. And despite their busy AM schedule, they were still able to accommodate me. I think this was the first time when Dr. Perlroth saw me. She walked me through the entire check up which really put me at ease.

I never liked dentists — but I can’t avoid them forever. The day I decided I had to go, I looked for the nearest dentist around my office. I found Wall St., dental so I thought, why not? I didn’t expect much. Boy was I wrong. I met Dr. Tatiana Perlroth. She listened patiently to every neurotic concern I had. I didn’t want to feel a thing, and she went out of her way to explain to me what she was going to do, and what can I expect. Not surprisingly, the first order of business was extraction. In fact, two extractions. Throughout the process, I heard her calm and soothing voice telling me what was happening. I can tell you that I did not feel a thing. There was the pressure, but it was mostly knowing I was in capable hands that made me relax.
Then I wanted veneers, and Dr. Perlroth explained to me what that would entail, and in the end she said, I don’t recommend them for you, and she explained why. Then she gave me options, and I ended going the longer, but healthier route. I’m sold. Hand down the best doctor I have ever had. Now I look forward to my appointments. Marilyn never misses a beat. She is great. In fact, the whole office is fantastic. They are so good, you owe it to yourself to experience them.
And no, even though it might sound like it, I wasn’t paid to write this.

I have been coming here for over 2 years and now all 4 of my kids come as well.
Such a sweet and warm staff, very professional and painless procedures (I don’t like the dentist chair anymore than anyone else!) and crowns in 1 visit!!!
Not cheap, but it’s Wall st. — what is?
Super convenient, my husband will go before work or at lunches and he works downtown.
Highly recommend!

Very convenient location if you work or live in the financial district. The offices are clean, bright, modern, open and airy. Each room has large windows and flat-​screen tvs.
Marium does a good job with cleaning, but I would prefer less use of the water based electric dental scaler for routine cleanings, due to the high pitched noise and my sensitive gums, but that’s just me.
Dr. Chillura is very personable, skilled, and focused on catching problems early. He removed my remaining wisdom teeth, redid my root canals, fillings. Make sure you have good insurance, given preventative care does add up, but premium care can be expensive.

Dr. Chillura is the best dentist in NYC! I’ve been a patient for 14 years. He employs state of the art technology, one of the few dentists with the CEREC machine to make your inlay or crown in the office while you wait. His bedside manners are terrific, always asks if you are okay, how the pain is, etc. I have no hesitations in recommending him.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Chillura for about 4.5 years now. The office is really modern and clean and the staff is professional and friendly. I come in for my cleaning twice a year and have been impressed with their services. Many of my co-​workers also go to Dr. Chillura given the convenient location to our office and the 2⁄3 subway. Marilyn runs a great office and always calls to remind you of your appointment and makes sure you’re taken care of.

I agree with other two reviewers and would give Dr. Chillura’s office a 4.5 stars if I could. A friend of mine had been going to Dr. Chillura for quite some time for complicated dental work and highly recommended the office. I went and spoke to Marilyn at the front desk. She was extremely friendly and helpful. She stated that she had just had a cancellation and signed me up for an appointment for a general cleaning the next week. The office itself seems super clean and modern. I met Dr. Chillura very briefly and he seemed very nice, but I was only there for a routine cleaning by a hygienist, so I cannot speak to his dental expertise. I have never had any cavities or braces, so I require very little in the way of dental services. So, why not five stars? Well, I had Miriam as my hygienist and she was super sweet, however, she was kind of rough on my gums, to the point that they started to bleed quite a bit. I have had regular cleaning since my childhood and have never had my gums bleed that much. Next time, I will just request another hygienist. I think it was just her style, but that style, my gums did not like. Again, she was super sweet and apparently Kathleen (below) is happy with her, so don’t let my experience discourage you. And, another reason I deducted a star is the price was a bit steep. Sure, it’s Manhattan and yes, it’s Wall Street, so it wasn’t outrageous, considering, but a bit higher than most. However, that said, I will return to Dr. Chillura’s office and I would recommend his office to a friend.

I am always impressed by the level of service and professionalism here. They take the pain out of a biannual chore.
To start, the office calls days ahead of the appt to confirm. The prophylaxes are thorough. Dr. Chillura is personable and efficient. Worth the short ride downtown.

Professional, progressive and very competent dentist in the Financial District. Past president of the First District Dental Society. He does general dentistry, implants and cosmetics. I was referred by a patient of his who had porcelain veneers done that looked incredible. Nice office!

Dr. Chillura’s office is very convenient to downtown subways and has a clean and modern feel to it. Enjoy the latest news from NY 1 thanks to mini flat screens while your teeth are cleaned. Marylin, the administrative officer, is great with giving me all the paperwork I need and reminding me of appointments, and Miriam is excellent for my regular cleanings.
Dr. Chillura himself is professional and competent, and keeps discomfort to a minimum when it comes to drilling and the like. The downside — his chic Wall Street offices are met with steep Wall Street prices (not really that outrageous, but tough for me because I have to pay dental expenses out of pocket for the most part). Fingers crossed that you have good insurance!
