It all started in the year 2000 — I was a doorman meeting and greeting hundreds to thousands of people a month. This was a very good skill set for me because I developed the mindset to tap into the minds of others, allowing me to find a resource of what people need in the world we live in today. As I communicated with tenants and shareholders, I started to develop my networks which eventually became my net worth.

All my gifts came from my passion and drive to create and make a better life for my future. They needed me and I needed them. I always wanted to maintain a habit of giving more than what I was paid for.

If you ever have a dream in life, just go for it. Do not take your dreams to your grave. When you decided to plant your seeds for your business, please don’t go where the path might lead; but go where there’s no path and lead a trail like no other.

Pat and his crew were professional from start to finish during a move from a fourth floor walk-​up to a doorman building. When a shelf inside an armoire was accidentally damaged during the move, Pat immediately assessed the damage and sent a professional furniture repairman to fix it and paid for it. Subsequently, we have hired him for smaller moving jobs in which we have received the same professional care. We would happily recommend him and his crew.

Despite being under a strict deadline, Pat and his five-​man crew moved all of my belongings — including several large pieces of furniture, 100+ boxes and 30+ large heavy-​duty plastic bags of clothing, bed linens, blankets, towels, etc. — out of my co-​op apartment and into storage. Then he transported everything halfway across the country, arriving exactly when he said he’d be there at my new home. Pat and his crew unloaded the truck quickly and professionally, placing all of the furniture exactly where I wanted it, reassembling my two queen-​size bed frames, and storing the boxes neatly in the basement along with the bags. If you’re looking for an excellent, full-​service mover at a competitive price, you won’t find a better moving company than Pat’s Moving & Storage Co.
