Pandora Herald Square

I went to the Herald Square location because it was on my way from dinner and I actually frequent this area a lot. After waiting in the line for about 20 minutes, the sales associate seemed annoyed because I did not know what I wanted so she made me wait while she helped other people which I could understand because I also work in jewelry sales. However, everytime I asked her a question she pretended she didn’t hear me and then she seemed to have an attitude altogether. I had one cheap safety chain on hold and was looking to spend about $ 200 or more, ready to buy. After she seemed like she couldn’t care less, I decided I wasn’t going to buy anything and I left. I haven’t bought anything from Pandora before but I own Pandora jewelry that my loved ones have been gifting me so I thought I would stop in and pick up some gifts for them. After this experience, I am convinced this location has rude staff, (although I almost asked this other guy who looked friendlier to help me). I will not be returning and it makes me not want to shop at Pandora at all. I might order stuff online from Jared’s or to Markens at Queenscenter mall. I would give them no stars if I could.

Omg Yaritza is amazing, extremely patience and she has exceptional customer service. I highly recommend anybody planning on shopping here find her.

An outstanding business. I went in here with my little sister and angel helped us. We only went in for the princess ring but he had a Pandora bracelet on and I’ve never seen it on a guy so I wanted to try one on he helped me build the perfect style, he’s a really cool guy and he even told me I can make appointments with him. From now on angel is my go to jewler.

I brought my parents from Brazil to NYC; it is their first trip abroad. While walking close to our hotel, we saw this Pandora store, and my mother decided to get her and her granddaughter something. Nevertheless, we were received by an attendant, Angel, so unhelpful and lethargic in showing my mother the pieces that I felt horrible for making him so annoyed, a feeling he didn’t make an effort to conceal. We felt as if Angel thought he was too good to be our salesman, and we were wasting his time.
Then, he prepared one present bag for the two gifts (my mother and my niece’s), although the gifts should have been wrapped up sepparately. I think this is an OK mistake, so I went back and asked him to prepare two bags because there were two people to whom those gifts were destined. I wished I had not asked.
He prepared the two bags in the most unwilling way, slowly and with contempt. On the positive side, perhaps, the salesman Angel warned us that the earrings my mother chose for her granddaughter had too many small details and were not fitting for a child.
I realize that these are subjective perceptions, but relevant nonetheless to the whole shopping experience. Shopping at Pandora was mostly bad — my mother only bought the pieces because she really like them. My parents told me afterwards that they were willing to buy more if the salesman had shown them more interesting pieces.
It makes me angry to think their first trip abroad — and to NYC — should be one of their lives’ best experiences. America is known for excellence in costumer service: we were treated very well in all places we visited/​shopped at. To a small extent, situations like this spoil the US and NYC’s image for foreign visitors — they feel America is a bit less great because of that.

I walked into this store recently – typical Pandora with a long wait. I was very upset because I lost my bracelet, and the wait didn’t help. I was helped by Angel, and he really lived up to his name-​truly an angel. He made getting my new bracelet a great experience and even taught me how to protect my bracelet by using a saftey chain! I wish someone explained this to me before. For any Pandora needs, I will only be shopping with Angel.

The sales people Damien and Yaeyana (sorry if I spell it wrong!!!) are definitely super helpful. They are patient and willing to give me suggestion when I couldn’t make the decision.
However my friend wasn’t this lucky, the sales person Laura (?) first refused to help her exchange her charm, then we thought we would just purchased something else. But then everytime when my friend and I spoke in other language, she looked up and stare at us in a very uncomfortable way. In the end we left the store and came back later with Damien helping us with our purchase.
But overall I love the customer service here, way better than the one at Atlantic Terminal! They sold me a USED bracelet!

Went in today (04.09.16) to exchange 2 bracelets i got during the free bracelet event last week. I am between sizes and got the 18 cm but feel it might be slightly bigger as i wear it. It fits good now because its brand new and stiff. Decided to just switch for smaller size (17cm) instead. I have an 18 cm on me which seems fine but want a smaller one so i can wear it layered. I was greeted immediately when i walked in and told the sales associates about my problem. I was directed to Damien to be serviced. Damien helped me right away. I showed him my two bracelets and took it out. He asked me if i wanted to switch for the same ones or different. I said same ones (pave classic clasp and the new smooth clasp). He checked to see if they had any in stock. Unfortunately because of the sale last week it was all sold out and advised to try again next week. He checked my receipt and noticed i didnt orginally get it with them. I thought «oh no im going to have a problem» because i read reviews of this place before so I was hesitant to come because of it. Boy, were people wrong about this place. I did not feel mistreated at all! Damien told me from now on to come to him from now on and dont go back to my original store jokingly and i laughed. I also asked for 2 extra boxes because i was not provided from original sale of purchase. He went above and beyond for me. My friend was also there and also asked for an additional box. Not only did he not give me a single hassle for it, he gladly did it. In addition to the boxes he gave me a free pouch for the bracelet as well! I was never offered or given those. Had to ask several times just for charm boxes. As i was about to leave i totally forgot to ask for the silicone stoppers used for the clips on my bangle. I had asked the other place for 2 and didnt received it. I went back and asked and gave me without hesitation. The other staffs were also very pleasant. They provided the kids sweets for them and offered it. I am beyond satisifed with their service and promised to take my business to Damien from now on. He even told me if I had went to him in first place he would of thrown in free polishing cloths (they’re worth $ 5 each if purchased separately)!!! What service. People should give this place a try. They are not as bad as other Unilocalers claimed and scaring them from coming in to shop at this location!

The Doorman treated me like crap. When I walked in he said «yes?», in the snottiest tone. He asked «are you here to shop?» And i said yeah (wasn’t that obvious?) and he told me to wait outside. That’s when I left completely. Never going back here. The SoHo store is 1000 times better, with much nicer staff.

Typical flagship store where it’s busy, crowded and there is usually a wait to choose charms or rings. Ladies are super attentive but a bit pushy since they work off commission. Check this store out if you want specialty charms of the city!

I decided to give this store a 2^nd chance and I’m glad that I did.
Diana and Gerald were sooooo helpful. I had been looking for a certain charm for over 2 weeks, apparently the charm I wanted was part of a gift set so I was unable to buy the charm individually until after Valentine’s Day. Well after Valentine’s Day and the charm still wasn’t available. I was in the area so I decided to throw caution to wind and went in. I was immediately greeted by Gerald, I explained to him what I wanted and he part my name on the list and engaged me in conversation until a sale associate was ready for me.
I had the pleasure of dealing with Diana, who was very nice and went above and beyond for me. While showing Diana the charms I wanted she offered to clean my bracelets. Again I was told the charm I wanted was part of a set so it couldn’t be sold as an individual charm yet. Diana offered to call another Pandora store to see if they had the individual charm instead of with the set. Thank god the other store had the charm and Diana rushed over to the store to get the charm for me.
Thank you Diana & Gerald for making my second visit such a memorable one and replacing my previous bad experience.

Let’s start off by saying, I am obsessed with Pandora. My favorite one to go to is the Herald Square location. it’s so easy to get to! it’s right next to all the trains at the 34^th street stop. The store is always clean. and the employees are always super helpful. It’s really just a beautiful store. Whenever I need a gift they always have the best options. What I think is super cute is that for people who visit the NY store from out of town can get these New York exclusive charms. I’m an addict and whenever I go somewhere where they have exclusive pandora charms I must get them! Haha

This store is always incredibly busy and packed like all stores in this area, so you have to have patience when going. All of the staff are pretty nice and helpful but The 5 stars that I listed are for sales associate Saul because he went above and beyond to assist me. You can tell that he is a people person and that he really likes to make sure customers get what they want and like. Saul did not rush me into making choices and he even showed me other things he thought that I may like but with no pressure at all to buy. I’ve been rushed too many times in different Pandora stores. He also showed me what my charms would look like on a bracelet in the store. Although I’ve received decent service from other sales associates, Saul by far was the best one. Whenever I go to Pandora I will be looking for his assistance even if I have to wait.
The store managers here are very nice as well.

This store is by far the worst customer service I have ever experience. The lady who helped me was rude and she seemed impatient as I was picking out my charm.

Stopped by to look at the rings and the customer service was horrible. Your best bet is to go to the SOHO location.
I stopped by with my friends when Pandora had the free charm promotion when you make a $ 125 purchase. It’s understandable that it is busy since there were a long line outside like Black Friday but it isn’t an excuse to give us an attitude and not value our time.
So I purchase two rings and the sale representative did not automatically offer me the free charm and directed me to the cash register. I waited on line and asked her about the free charm then she directed me to another sales representative to the pick out a free charm. She told us the previous representative (the first lady) would come over and she will help us check out once we’re done. We waited as the line got longer and I was like forget it I’m going to wait in line again since she didn’t come over or she forgot about us. My friends were also getting annoyed as they waited for me throughout the whole time and they were like let’s just go to the SOHO location since this just ridiculous. That is when the second representative over heard and asked the first representative about helping us out. This was already 15 minutes after she tell us to wait for first representative. Then she told my friends that I HAVE to go back on the line, thank god I was already in line. It was like 15 minutes to line up the first time and another 20 minutes to go on line the second time. Don’t know if it was miscommunication or they just didn’t care, they did not apologize; gave me a pissed off face and normally Pandora would give you a ring box for the rings & a small box to put the charm in, they just gave me a pouch for all 3.
Would not recommend this location if you want to be treated right. I’ve been to numerous Pandora locations and this one is by worst. You pay for expensive products and expect to receive quality service and you may not find it here. Unless it’s because we’re Asian and they don’t think we should be respected since I did see other customers receive better customer service.

Super confused about all the reviews. This store has every charm and has the most helpful and knowledgable salespeople. Every time I come by, the store is immaculate and super easy to shop. Don’t listen to these other reviews!!!

If I could, I would like to give zero to this experience. The salesman Noël was rude and ignored my friend and I when he was servicing us. After I went through the the reviews, I strongly recommend the store manager to train your ppl how to face their customers with positive attitude.
I understood in the end of day is always tired, at least don’t put your attitude on innocent customers or all what you have done only make you looks unprofessional.

After reading some of these reviews I was hesitant about going to this pandora location. I honestly rely on Unilocal to direct me to the best shops and restaurants in town.
Well my Unilocal friends. I was pleasantly surprised!!! Not only was my sales lady very accommodating and friendly… James the manager also came over to greet me with a smile. The store was beautiful and they have a very extensive collection. I would have given it 5 stars, but I honestly just don’t enjoy midtown.

The worst experience ever.
The store manager embarrassed my family and I while looking at charms and bracelets in her «working space.» She was an old Russian lady with the Russian accent. She shouted at us for being in her space and waved her arms at us to move away from her.
This is store has a manager who has poor management skills and poor manners. Trust me, she will be reported to customer service.

I would give zero star if I can.
Salesperson named DESTINY rolled her eyes after I told her I want earrings instead of bracelet, told me to pay without showing me the products and whether I want it or not, telling me no earring boxes and toss it in a paper box, stop wrapping and talking to other clients while I am waiting her to finished and get out. Not mention how many times she rolled her eyes.
I would suggested anyone to go to soho store and never ever come here.
