Pacha U18

Four star review for this place, almost perfect. Pacha U18 is a series of under 18 nights that bring in a different headlining dj each time in the infamous pacha venue. The DJ names they bring in are top notch ie. Hardwell, Nervo, Alesso, Dada Life, ect. The party takes place from 5pm to 10pm, before the 18+ night begins. The early ending is sort of a bummer but the party is wild for how early it is and there’s plenty of other places you can hit after or easily catch a NJ Transit train home at the hour. Lets start off when you get there. The line is not to long and moves fast unlike other teen venues such as No ID Events at Stage 48. Security pat downs were very touchy but the bouncers were nice enough. The main floor is crowded towards the DJ booth with a little space towards the back by the main bar to breath. There’s couches towards the right side of the room right next to the dance floor to sit which I like. There is a basement with that is not crowded at all, a second DJ in the basement, restrooms, and coat check. You can also pay 10 $ more for ‘VIP’ which gains you access to the balcony over looking the main floor! On a crowded night I would recommend the VIP as you can have space to breath yet still watch the headliner. All in all it’s a great concept with tons of potential since the crowd of people is more tolerable and mature than other no id nights in the area. The reason I couldn’t give it five stars is because they throw events to rarely, maybe once a month at best with long breaks in between sometimes which sucks!
