Love this place! The rooms are extremely clean, and there’s always a sense of tranquility. I’ve been a customer for over 3 years. Georgette is amazing! She’s very knowledgeable about skin care and has a technique which is almost painless, considering the service is a brazilian.

Unfortunately, I have to write this review because I have had a bad experience 3 times now with this spa. I bought a package on Groupon, and then bought two additional packages for laser removal when I was at the spa. The first time I went, I had to wait over an hour for my appointment, which I did not complain about at all except to ask when it would be, but when I came out from treatment room, they on their own said that I would be given a complimentary mani-​pedi because of the wait time. They put this on my account, and I made my laser appointment for 5 weeks later, and scheduled the complimentary mani-​pedi about an hour before the laser appointment. A month later, they called to confirm my appointment for the mani-​pedi at 5:30pm and the laser afterwards. I asked over the phone if I could get a gel manicure instead of a regular manicure and pay the difference. They agreed and said I would just need to pay the difference.
The next day (the day of the appointment) I received a call from a receptionist who said that my mani-​pedi was scheduled at 7:30pm and I would need to reschedule it because the spa closes at 8pm. I informed her that my mani-​pedi was confirmed at 5:30pm with the person who had called me the day before and I had made the appointment 5 weeks ago. She was short and a bit rude with me (as if this were my fault) but she said that she would put the appointment back to 5:30pm. That day at 5:30pm I went to the desk to sign in for my appointment and mentioned again that I wanted to pay the difference for the gel mani, and was informed by the same blonde girl (who was not friendly) that there was no gel technician available, only a regular nail technician. I said that I had spoken to someone confirming the appointment the day before that I would receive a gel mani if I paid the difference, and the receptionist said that someone must have made an appointment between yesterday and today because the gel technician was booked at 6pm. I said that I had made the appointment 5 weeks ago, and requested a gel mani when the appointment was confirmed the day before with no problems. She said it was impossible, so I said, nevermind I do not want the manicure anyway which was complimentary. (I don’t really like getting regular manicures because they peel after a day).
Then the laser technician who is VERY sweet and helpful, said that she would try to squeeze me in sooner since I was not getting the mani-​pedi. I said that would be great and sat in the waiting room. The receptionist a few minutes later (I guess they must have had a cancellation) said that they could fit me in for the gel mani and regular pedi after all, and it would be no extra charge. I said great, but should we go tell the laser technician so she knows that I am not available until after the mani-​pedi, or if we should do the laser first, and the receptionist shooed me into the manicure area and said no no it’s fine.
As I was sitting in the pedicure chair, I noticed that the laser technician came out, and seemed upset that no one had told her that I was getting the mani-​pedi after all.
First came the pedi, then I was just sitting down for the manicure, when the rude receptionist came to the door of the room and asked «almost done?» and we had just started the manicure. She did this twice, and I felt like I was being rushed and it was not a pleasant feeling because I saw someone else was waiting for their own session in a pedi chair. Then she came over a little later and asked how much longer it would be to my nail technician. It was extremely unprofessional in a spa setting to speak like that and also to rush someone who just sat down. The gel manicure took less time than it usually does, and then I got the laser which was fine as usual. The laser technician herself is really great.
The next day the polish on an entire nail peeled off and all my other nails started peeling at the top. I could not believe it. So I ended up having to get a new manicure elsewhere after all because it’s hard to take the rest of the gel off yourself.
I needed to finish my packages for laser so I made an appointment for 5 weeks later. I received a call around 3pm yesterday that the laser technician wouldn’t be in and I would need to reschedule. When I called there were no appointments left after work this week. So far, I have been here 3 – 4 times and every time there is some kind of problem. The owner gave me an extra laser session for each but I go here to relax and be pampered and overall the receptionist (skinny blond/​brown hair) is just not helpful. I am still trying to reschedule this appointment.

Purchased a Groupon for 3 brazilian waxes. I have only completed two so far. Disappointed with the service. Mei was my Aesthetician. She was not friendly at all and did not seem experienced. I have been doing Brazilian Waxes for 3 years and never have I experienced such service/​pain. She had difficulty pulling the wax off which made it extremely painful. She missed areas yet kept going over other areas 5 or 6 times. Mei did not clean the residual wax off me leaving my below region sticky. Overall terrible job and terrible service.

Got Groupon voucher for 60-​min Hydrating Facial with Oxygen treatment by Jenna. The cost was $ 59 + they charge additional tax $ 5,75
Cons: 1) additional tax; 2) Hard to understand Jenna’s English; 3) when she did Oxygen treatment with serum I felt like one side got a serum and another side just got a pure wind because no left serum; 4) after the massage I felt hurt in my right shoulder, I didn’t understand why!!! 5) the next I had a dry skin again, the machine for an oxygen (GL6 oxygen injection machine) that they use not good.
Pros: 1) Jenna did an amazing facial massage and she did it for a long time, awesome; 2) clean and bright spa; 3) offering water; 4) nice waiting room; 5) big spa; 6) nice and relaxing music; 7) quite rooms with no interruption; 8) easy to schedule an appointment; 9) The receptionist Linda is nice and welcoming person.

What a beautiful location… so peaceful and serene inside, all of the workers are extremely sweet and patient. The wait wasn’t long at all, being that they took us before our scheduled appointment time… they have amazing gel colors! Like there wasn’t one color they didn’t have. And the polish was super high quality. The young woman who did my pedicure was amazing.(wish I remembered her name) she took her time and really took care of my feet. Very gentle and dos everything to my liking! I was amazed at how relaxed I was during and after my pedicure… it was just a very pleasant experience!

I bought a groupon for 6 laser hair removal sessions for full legs. Trust me, it is so worth it!
The first time I went I was with Renee. She was a little bit too pushy offering me their other services and I felt like she did not really concentrate on my legs, she was moving the laser rather inconsistently, jumping from one area to another.
The second time I went I was with Linda who was actually moving the laser inch by inch.
So after my second treatment the results are very obvious. I haven’t shaved in more than a week and I barely have any hair growth so far. I am so amazed because I used to shave every day before I started laser hair removal.
Overall, I am very satisfied with the service. The only reason I am giving it 4 stars is because of the one time «tax» that you have to pay the first time and the high tips which I’m not used to giving (I’m still a college student!)

Today i was with friend and i got facial and microdermabrasion that we got as part of promotion on living social, i am so happy. I was with Georgette, what an amazing lady, we had nice talk, she was very informative, explained me the whole procedure, since i never did it before, very nice !
I am very pleased with her and will def. be back to Georgette.

I am giving this place a 1-​star rating just for scheduling appointments. Whoever is in charge of scheduling and actually executing appointments, is TERRIBLE. I waited an hour to be seen. Granted, I was 15 minutes early to my appointment, so they made me wait 45 minutes to get a Brazilian. While I was waiting, I heard the receptionist tell another client that it will be just a few more seconds. I could see it on this woman’s face that she’s been waiting for a while. It’s the same expression I had because I was waiting the same ridiculous amount of time. I don’t see what’s the point of having an appointment when I had to wait this long. If I were 45 minutes late, would they hold my appointment? And I’m sure they have some sort of last minute cancellation fee. Can I charge the spa a late fee to reimburse my time wasted waiting? I would like the same decency from this place.
On another note, Sagi was a delight. She was very professional, thorough and made me feel very comfortable.

My review is solely based on the laser hair removal treatment here. I’ve been coming to this spa for 4 months now (every 4 – 6 weeks for LHR). The price for LHR is reasonable (bought off Groupon), but I must say, the staff here are SUPER nice. From the receptionist to my esthetician (Renee). If you’re deciding whether or not you want to do LHR here, do it! And definitely request for Renee. She’s super nice, easy to talk to, and really clean (a definite plus). She listens to your needs and concerns, and always asks about the progress of the hair growth — which has dramatically decreased for me.
Tip is required here (15−20%) of each treatment. I tip every time, but I don’t mind because the service here is incredible. I have never tried any other services here, but I heard that the facials here are good as well. Overall, this place is friendly, clean, and has reasonable prices, I would recommend this spa to any of my gal friends who want to try out some services.

I had a Brazilian wax done here and to be honest I wouldn’t return even if I got the service for free. I have been waxed 15 times from other salons, specifically European wax center. This without a doubt was the most aggravating wax I’ve ever went through. First of all I’m Arabic so yeah my hair is not fine it’s quite stubborn. But that doesn’t give my esthetician the right to continuously harass me about it.
Red flag #1 «oh this is going to take me much longer and more work then usual but ok.» Like buddy it wasn’t even longer then half an inch I don’t get how no other waxxer ever had mentioned that…
Red flag #2: «how many kids do you have?» Me: «I’m 18…»
Uh I don’t get if she was trying to call me fat or old or what but I don’t get why getting my crotch waxed calls for these questions… I just don’t.
Red flag #3: «ah now I finally see shape»

Red flag # 4: I don’t get how I got hard wax done and then instead of just tweeting the few short hairs she used soft wax on top of my skin which really was unnecesaary.

She took off a couple of hairs from my inner groin area which btw is included in every upscale braZillian wax I have ever gotten done, and told me she would do it as if she was doing me a fucking favor. Like WOW GEE THANKS for trying to do your job omg… Fantastic!!! God forbid you wax one millimeter off my exact crotch and you lose a million dollars right? No.
She basically re unforced the idea that my hair isn’t blonde and thin like she’s used to waxing which was beyond rude and quite offensive. I would never return, ever. I hate this place with a strong flaming passion and hope you understand that a braZillian wax is uncomfortable enough without having a terrible esthetician doing it for you verbally harassing you while you’re nude on a table.
Do not come here if you want to relax, be comfy or have a decent wax. I hated my wax hated my esthetician and wouldn’t wish my worst enemy to be in her hands. She made me feel like shit in every way possible and continuously did so. This is a terrible establishment for even hiring her. I feel like cringing just thinking of my experience and it’s not worth a penny. You’re in the city, go to a good place NOT here.

I went for a Brazilian wax and they were very professional about it. The wax that they use combined with their technique made the experience minimally painful.
However, when it came time to pay, they were trying to bully my friend and me in to tipping them. I understand that a tip is expected but I’m also a college student that can’t tip as much as she’d like. They were rolling their eyes and giving off so much attitude that I was completely put off from ever wanting to go back there again.

As a birthday present to myself, I bought a $ 60 Gilt City deal for a 60-​minute massage and booked my appointment for a Saturday afternoon. It was a bit hard to find the entrance since the building looked like it was under construction and there was no visible sign outside, but I called them and the receptionist was able to give me directions and unlock the door for me.
I was a bit early for my appointment, so I sat down on a couch to wait and was given a cup of water. My massage therapist, Jenny, then led me to a room and gave me a few minutes to settle in. The massage was awesome — she did my entire body (shoulders, back, arms, leg, neck, scalp) front and back, with the perfect amount of pressure. The oil she used didn’t have much scent to it, which was actually a little bit disappointing as I was hoping for more of an aromatherapy effect (she mentioned that there was lavender but I didn’t really smell it). At the end, she wiped me off with a steamy hot towel and I felt super refreshed and rejuvenated.
Afterwards when I waited at the reception desk to pay, they had me fill out the new client form which I guess they’d forgotten to do in the beginning. Wasn’t a big deal to me though, since I really liked the massage I got.
Overall, great massage and clean facilities. I’d consider coming back here if there was a promotional price (the regular price of $ 139 is a bit steep!)

I purchased a Gilt City voucher for mani, pedi, and 20 minute foot massage. There were no signs out front or in the lobby, so I was a little unsure if I was in the right place. Once I opened the door for the suite, all my prior hesitation fell away. The reception area is inviting and calming.
I was immediately brought in for my service with Amanda. All the tools used were for individual use only. Amanda was lovely and thorough, and the foot massage was fantastic.
I will definitely be back to take advantage of the specials mentioned!

I came here with a groupon for a Brazilian wax. It was a bit hard to find this place at first as there’s some serious construction going on with scaffolding etc. but front desk was helpful when I called to try and figure out where to go. The actual interior of the spa is very clean and nicely decorated.
Lana did my Brazilian and she was super friendly and understanding of the pain being inflicted. I also appreciated that she was very thorough throughout the wax. They use hard wax here which was great as it covered a large area and made the wax go fast.
I am knocking one star from this review as the walls were very thin here and you could hear the entire conversation happening next door while someone was getting lasered. Kind of prevented actually being able to attempt any type of relaxation.

Best Brazilian waxing experiment of my life!!! Such a calming environment in the spa and my aesthetician, Georgette, was an absolute dream. She was so kind and accommodating and made the whole experience that much more enjoyable :)
They used hard wax, which sounds intimidating, but it was so easy and painless. I’m a new regular!

Got a groupon for Brazilian bikini wax. I was just going there based on its Unilocal reviews. The place was pretty clean and organized. LANA attended me and she was amazing.
She kept talking with me to keep my mind engaged and did an awesome job.
The only reason I gave a star less is because the front desk receptionist was a little rude. She asked me to tip on the original value which I would have done had I be a working person, being a student I don’t really make any income. When I asked her to put less tip on my card she really gave me a disgusting look.
Apart from that it was all good.

I’ve been here 3 times. I bought a Groupon back in May for a Brazilian wax. The experience was as pleasant as it could be. The place was neat, organized and clean. I arrived on time and the receptionist was super friendly. I didn’t wait at all. After my wax, they asked if I wanted to purchase a promotional package of 3 additional waxes. I agreed, and have done ²⁄₃ so far. Each time was with a different person, but I think they are all respectful and try to make you feel as comfortable as possible.
However, I knocked off one star because during my last wax, while I was laying down (with my bottoms off), the woman forgot something, so she left the room… and the door was cracked open. It was wide enough for me to see other staff members walking by. And if I could see them, I’m sure they could’ve seen me as well. While it was only about 30 seconds, it was still a lapse of professionalism. Nevertheless, the overall experience was good.

I bought a laser hair removal package on Lifebooker for a «small area» (my underarms). The space is brand new; clean and inviting. Everyone I spoke with was friendly and accommodating.
On my first visit I had to fill out some paperwork but it was just a page so it didn’t take long. I was greeted by my technician Renee who was super nice and reassuring. I was nervous it was going to hurt but she told me it doesn’t hurt at all. Still skeptical, I mentally prepared myself for some level of pain. To my surprise, it did not hurt. Like at all. Things that hurt more than this: an enthusiastic hug. Clapping your hands. A pedicure. The whole procedure took maybe 15 minutes. It’s just like an ultra sound. If you’ve never had an ultra sound or watched any sort of television, they basically put cool jelly on the area and roll a small device around to look at your insides, except in this case instead of looking at your guts, a red light goes off and kills your gnarly, unwanted hairs. It was awesome.
It’s recommended to not wear deodorant for the rest of the day (this sickened me a bit but spoiler alert: I survived) and you should stay out of the sun for the 5 days prior to and following your appointment, so this is definitely more of a winter activity. You also can’t wax or tweeze in between visits and you have to shave the area right before.
After just one session I definitely noticed a difference. The hair that grew back was less in both amount and in thickness. Before this, I used to get that awkward and uncomfortable 5 o’clock shadow and even right after shaving I never had a nice, smooth, flawless armpit necessary for all the underarm modeling I do. Now I’m booking more jobs than ever. I should also note that I have fair skin and dark hair which I am told is ideal because of how the laser works.
Do this. It’s worth it.

Recently discovered this hidden gem on Groupon through a mani-​pedi deal. I’m not what you would call a girly girl, so hitting the spa monthly or getting manicures on a bi-​weekly basis aren’t part of my agenda, but I figured since it’s Labor Day weekend and I am going away, why not? What REALLY sold me was that this location is literally a block from where I work. I pass by every single morning and occasionally in the afternoon. Unbeknownst to me, this beautiful spa is situated in the building right by the construction site that never seems to go away.
Anywho, so I scheduled a 12:30pm appointment for a mani-​pedi during my lunch break. I arrived at 12:25pm, was greeted by the friendliest receptionist and was then taken in a few minutes later by Joleen (sp?). Thank goodness it didn’t require a long wait.
My first impression of the spa was the serenity it provided and its modern ambience. Furniture and paint selections gave off an earthy, relaxing feel and everything appeared rather new. I was later informed by Joleen that they just moved to this new location several months ago. Speaking of whom, Joleen was gentle, careful, not overly quiet /​talkative and seemed genuine. I was very pleased with the results of her work and even more pleased with the ginger scrub on my legs and brief massages on my palms and lower legs. With aches all over my body, those little massages were needed.
I told Joleen that I’d like to make it back in time to work before my hour lunch break ends, so she began to work quickly yet diligently. I arrived 5 minutes late, but it was good enough for me :). Can’t wait to return to try out some deep-​tissue massages!
