Not fresh– preprepared. Food sitting in fridge. Juice not fresh. No place to sit except a small bench. Place smells bad. Threw it away

I don’t get this place. I’m not a big«healthy eater»… I do my best, but I am not obsessive over nutrition, so probably wouldn’t come here if I did not work in such close proximity. However, the people at this location are lovely and helpful! I will often pop in just to grab a water bottle or a quick snack. Some of the food… I just don’t get it guys. It’s like 12 bucks for a salad that consists of kale and shaved carrots… aka bunny food. Like what am I paying for? Not really sure. Maybe I should ask them one day. But if you’re into this kind of thing, definitely go here! Best part about it(for me) is how great the people are! :)

My favorite place for lunch and there treats and coconut mylk is to die for!!! Everything here is vegan friendly, I feel like im in heaven walking in these doors, I am assured that anything inside I consume is organic, vegan and will nurish my body and mind. I truly feel guilt free when im eating here and the clean energy I get from the juices you just cant beat! :) I hope they branch out and open locations outside of Manhattan. Keep being an amazing place with ethical values and putting love into your food and drinks.

Let me start by saying the one star is strictly due to the customer service. The juices are beyond fantastic and I will surely miss them as I can no longer bring myself to do business with Organic Avenue. I ordered a juice pre-cleanse and they shipped my order with the wrong zip code– causing FedEx to deliver my box a day late. This was in the heat of summer and my juices arrived warm the next day. I contacted OA and was told that since they shipped my order on time they were not responsible and I should take it up with FedEx. I fail to see how this is FedEx’s fault since they were given the wrong address. I tried to explain this to OA and they refused to even respond to me. All over a mere $ 60 you will be loosing my business, a long time customer who buys several cleanses a year. I’m sad to go, but this is not good customer service and there are plenty of other great juice places.

Oh how I wish they had locations in Los Angeles. This place is amazing! Very high quality, fresh juices and shots. Helped me kick the nasty holiday flu/cold that was going around. As you can imagine with these juice places, expect to pay around $ 9 for a juice. But it’s so worth it. That’s the price you pay for going raw.

I love Organic Avenue because it is quick, easy, great juices. Such a great alternative to me spending at least 45 mins juicing at home. I like all the different options available and the juices are healthy. I would highly recommend trying the Matcha Chia Glo, Spicy Avocado Soup, and Tumeric Tonic. My absolute FAVORITE is the Cashew Hemp Mylk! Yes Yes and double yes to that! :-) The store is small but I’m usually in and out so it doesn’t bother me much but I can how uncomfortable it can get if the store is crowded. The staff is always polite and helpful.

Delish! Enjoyed the sunflower falafel wrap on whole wheat with cucumber, tomato, tahini and cashews. I’m usually skeptical about premade sandwiches due to sogginess but this one was fresh and yummy! Organic and vegan and it only set me back $ 8.

Lots of fresh juice options. The juice isn’t pressed there, but made locally. Premade salads and wraps, including falafel!, are also available. Lots of raw crackers, chips, and cookies as well. Everything is vegan and a lot is raw, but there are many cooked vegan options as well, including brussel sprouts and potatoes. The lady working was very friendly, and the café is very clean. There isn’t a place to sit down, so make sure you come here if you want an on-the-go option! :)

I’m very happy with the juices I purchased and the women working there seemed really friendly. I agree it’s expensive but the ingredients are high quality. Definitely recommend the carrot juice and the green coco.

The Thai collard wrap is very healthy and tasty with almond butter, cashews, shredded cabbage, carrots, sprouts, mango, coconut, and a tasty plum sauce, all wrapped in a collard leaf. To be honest, I wasn’t expecting it to taste so good, but I’m certainly glad that it did! The zucchini hummus is great with veggies or on pita and is a great, lighter alternative to the traditional hummus dip. I love it with a Joseph’s low carb pita and veggies. My fav dish here is the cauliflower salad, which is spicy, sweet, and savory with dates, cashews, curry, cumin, and maybe even some chocolate. It’s an interesting flavor blend but it works! Service is on and off but the food is tasty and very nutritious. Give it a try if you want something different and healthy!

Love it… I Mushroom Wrap was so good!!! Hummus was fresh and yummy! Delivery was fast. WHAT A DIFFERENCE… The food is good, but the customer service is horrible. I waited over an hour and a half for my food. I called the store on Lexington to ask about the delivery and he put me on hold to verify my order. I know I placed the order, I’m asking where it is… He asked me to give him my number so the seamless person could call me back. So the person answering the phone does not know where my food is located… I will never order from this place again.

$ 9 for green juices that are old and past useful life. Dumb idea and poorly executed. The place will be closed soon as there is never anyone in it. Green juices should be made in front of you and consumed immediately. These juices were made days ago… everything else they sell is on amazon and at ½ the prices.

Late night drive thru=guilt. Had to make myself feel better for ingesting 8,000 calories… thats where organic avenue comes in. Really starting to love this place. Veggie vibrance-I love beets! Its kind of spicy because of the ginger. My favorite juice. Green love-Another good one. It suprisingly keeps me full. Pear juice-Yummy! Very smooth and not too sweet. This location is really small, but the staff is this shit! Always offering samples.

Admittedly, this review is more for a friend of mine, Lil’ Miss Raw Vegan Organic. For you see, it’s time for one of her«cleanses», and she needed to consume some items that are more nourishing than lemon juice, water, Cheyenne pepper, and maple syrup, A.K.A.: «Beyonce Juice». After a lunch time trip to this store with her, I walked out totally dissuaded by the egregiously high prices of the vast majority of the items. Mi amiga wanted me to purchase a smoothie. Despite their obvious healthful qualities(and yes, the ingredients list was quite nutritious and interesting [think alkaline water and Irish moss]), I could not justify spending $ 10 — $ 14 dollars on a glass bottle I knew I’d down in about 10 minutes flat. Though the prices made me say«no» on this particular day, I am no fool: I know you pay high for quality, and items in this store are quality. Everything is raw and organic, from homemade lunch and dinner entrees, to juices and smoothies, cold raw soups, to snacks such as raw vegan tomato veggie chips(the sample I consumed did cause me to make a brief«O» face), «candy bars», and macaroons. The staff was extremely friendly, immediately helpful, and had thorough and clear answers for all of the questions my friend had. This may not be an avenue I stroll on too often, but, for those seeking quality raw options, you’ll be cruisin’ up and down quite often.(I know my friend will be racking up numerous miles.)

Everyone finds the time to complain —but I am taking the item to compliment! I have recently starting sharing in the organic avenue experience. While I have never done a complete fast, nor do I plan to, I have added many of the products to my every day routine. The team at the 1021 Lexington location is truly amazing. The store is a wonderful place to visit– like I am going to a friends house. Everyone is terrific, but I must compliment Anthony — he is friendly, helpful and always greets me by my first name. I am the typical high powered, A personality New Yorker and the store has added lots of goodness and love to my life.

You’ll need time, money, and muscles to drink juice from here. First of all, they recommend picking up juices daily, so you need the time to go to their store every day during your cleanse. Of course they can deliver it for you, but the fee is pretty steep. Second of all, the juice itself is also more expensive than other juice places. So prepare to shell out some money at this place. However, the juices taste better than any other brands I’ve tried(Blueprint, Cool Cleanse). I don’t know how but their juices taste fresher, lighter and cleaner. I also liked that they don’t put much sweet ingredients(agave nectar, green apple) in the juice. Lastly, the glass bottles they use are so heavy, consequential bulging biceps may be a happy side effect of this cleanse. I had to use a hand cart to lug the juice around town. They also charge you a $ 2 deposit per bottle, so you can’t even toss away the bottles as you finish each of them. So, my fellow Unilocalers, if you think you are prepared for this place, go for it! You’ll end up feeling refreshed and energized after a few days of juice cleanse.

First to review! YAY! I am so happy this location opened on the UES. It is small. It still needs merchandise because it just opened but it carries the food and the juices and the smoothies and some other things too. It definitely needs more which I’m sure it will stock up within the next few weeks. I stopped in today on the way home(who needs to do a slow cleanse to get rid of this bloat? thumbs point to «this girl») and they still had a few food items. I bought a little of aforementioned items and some alkaline water as well. The lovely Tanya pointed me towards some other items they had, rang up my purchases with a smile and kind attitude and comfortably bagged them so I could carry them on the subway. Mazel on the new location and the friendly service. I will be back often.
