Ode à la Rose was first conceptualized in 2011 by two Parisian expats living in New York City.

The duo launched and rapidly grew a business that promised the highest quality hand-​tied rose bouquets presented in whimsically memorable French tin pails and «Look Who’s the Lucky One» signature purple boxes.

And moreover, the reassurance that the delivery will be accepted with major «WOW» factor by the lucky recipient.

I have just ordered a beautiful bouquet of flowers for my daughter in NYC from Australia.
The funny thing was her sister not only ordered from the same florist but the same arrangement. I emailed them at some ungodly hour asking if I could change my order and they happily adjusted the order and took care of everything. Fantastic service and I won’t hesitate to use them again. A few months ago I received the most beautiful arrangement of roses from here. Everything was flawless including the packaging! The color of the roses was super vibrant and the smell filled my entire office. My roses lasted almost a month.
Although I did not order them for myself, nor have have I ever placed an order, I would note that they have excellent customer service and that the website was easy to maneuver through just by knowing who placed the order to have them sent to me lol. Thank you guys!

Every part of my order and delivery was flawless including the peonies. I had Ode a la Rose deliver a bouquet to a restaurant to be at the table for a special event I could not attend. The woman who helped me over the phone to select the flowers, specify the details for the delivery, etc… was superb (and patient! My phone kept annoyingly dropping the call). The photo they sent with the completed bouquet was gorgeous, and later the one that the recipient sent me showed that it arrived without a hitch.

Roses were delivered in a big purple box to ensure that the roses would be perfect when I took them out of the box. A dozen fresh roses on valentine’s day. It was perfect. I opened the card where my boyfriend left me a message and my only critique was that there was a big discount code of 50% stamped inside the card on the left hand side. It was really distracting and I wish that it was not there. I like to keep the cards that my boyfriend sends me and the discount code is the same size as the message my boyfriend wrote for me. Other than that, it was a good experience.

Finally a florist that combines the ease of online ordering with the quality and trust of your local shops. Love the romantic arrangements from them that’s classic but also makes a statement. It’s also one of the few florists where you get what you pay for with less $ going to the middle man. Quality of flowers are consistent from every delivery even to outside of Manhattan, a no brainer !

I usually order about 2 – 4 bouquets a month from this company. I cannot recommend them enough. They send you a picture of the flowers before they are sent out for delivery and immediately notify you when they are delivered.
The roses are always gorgeous.

I’ve received more than 7 deliveries from Ode a a Rose, and the flowers are fresh, amazing, and comes in a very secure box with a container of water inside. It’s extremely protected and the quality of the flowers are very beautiful and excellent. Delivery is a breeze as well. Beautiful flowers! :)

The service is something you cannot beat or find anywhere else in the New York area. I scoured tons of florists on Unilocal and thankfully my search came across this amazing business. It is so simple to find, customize, and deliver your flowers to that special someone. I am currently in Los Angeles and upon finding this site, had my flowers delivered the same day to my girlfriend to commemorate a special occasion for her. She loved them and talks of how they are the best quality flowers she’s ever seen. You can’t go wrong with this choice.

I’m having mixed feelings. Based on the reviews on here and my friend’s experiences they seem to do pretty well with orders normally. However, my first experience wasn’t what I expected. I received the email with a picture of my bouquet, note & picture that I included. I was really pleased and excited about this feature since most floral companies do not provide this. My recipient never received the delivery. I got a call a few days later and they apologized (which is admirable) and offered to send the order free of charge. I explained to them that the occasion had passed, but since it was going to be free of charge I agreed to have them send it anyway. They asked me if I wanted the note and picture to remain the same and I said yes. 2 days later my recipient received the flowers. I will say they were in good condition, however the note and picture were missing. Since it was free it’s obviously not a huge deal but in any case keeping your word is important if you want to leave a positive lasting impression with your customers. I may not take the chance on them next time but would encourage others to at least give them a chance…

we live in California. My niece has been engaged. she lives in New York. I called several places I didn’t like the way they talked. I found Ode a la ROSE, I called them about 6:30 a. m California time they told me they will deliver it before 1 o;clock. about 2 hours laterI i got email they sent picture of the flower they delivered, and about 2 hrs. later my niece sent text «The Flowers are honestly the most beautiful I’ve ever seen delivered.
I recommended %100. they are very professional, very friendly staff, their customer service is excellent.

Great product and great customer service. This is generally the only flower shop from which I order nowadays, and they always get it right. Once (on Valentine’s Day, which must be the craziest, busiest day of the year for these guys), I entered a typo in the delivery address and they ended up sending the delivery person to Brooklyn (instead of Manhattan) because of that. I frantically and apologetically called and tried to get the flowers delivered to the right place, and they seamlessly got them delivered within an hour. After that, I’m not sure Ode A La Rose would give me 5 stars as a customer, but they certainly get my 5 stars.

I used Ode a la Rose to send a congratulations gift after a friend in New York raved about their arrangements. Being from out of state, I really had no idea what to expect. Their customer service was excellent — especially compared to the generic online or 1 – 800 numbers. They even sent me a photo of the actual flower arrangement so I knew exactly what my friend was getting (I always wonder if the actual version matches the advertisement… and to my suprise, it did!) and a confirmation when they were delivered. Please expand so iI can use your service out of the NYC area!

Couldn’t have asked for better service or quality. They send you a pic of the arrangement before it leaves their workshop! They also send a confirmation email after the arrangement is delivered. They deliver the flowers in a box WITH water for no extra charge. You can’t beat the quality of their flowers or their prices. Don’t waste your time or money on other websites like I did. Ode a la rose will be my florist of choice from now on. I hope they expand & start selling other types of flowers. Plan ahead as they do not deliver everyday outside NY. Service: Top notch service, they will try their best to accommodate to your needs. Excellent staff and great customer service.
Packaging: Your flowers will arrive on the best package, beautiful box with a flower coming out of the box, with ribbons… just amazing!
Flowers: The quality of their flowers is just out of this world, this are roses that will last forever. Last time my roses last almost a month!!!
colors: There is a lot of variety in terms of colors and they stand out from any other flowers you might buy in the street or order with a different website.
Price: Very reasonable, even the less expensive arrangements are just beautiful and luxurious.
I would highly recommend Ode a la Rose if you are looking to impress someone. From the box to the quality of the flower is just a top notch luxurious service.

You wouldn’t be able to find Ode a la Rose, if you’re walking around aimlessly.
It’s on the second floor of what seems to be a warehouse in the Flower District, so there aren’t any visible window displays or marquee signs that will point you to Ode a la Rose.
With that being said, I am so glad to have found Ode a la Rose.
We all know that roses can become a very expensive treat, especially during Mother’s Day. I perused through other websites and found that a dozen roses were ranging anywhere from $ 80 to north of $ 110. I love my mother and grandmother and aunts, but that’s a bit much for a perishable good.
Adamantly, I kept up my search and found Ode a la Rose.
Not only do they pick up their phones during listed hours, (which other florists do not seem to do), they respond to emails, and they offered a Mother’s Day promotional code for both phone and online orders! HOW AWESOME IS THAT!
They specialize in roses but they do have peonies and tulips.
They deliver the roses in a box, similar to that of a Build-A-Bear’s, which can be both a plus and minus. I initially wanted the roses to be delivered wrapped in paper, so I can hand it to my mother for Mother’s Day, and was a little bit turned-​off at the idea that it would be sitting in a vase within a box. But, life goes on.
I’d definitely be coming back to Ode a la Rose for all my flowery needs.
There’s a $ 15 delivery fee, but pick-​ups can be scheduled.

They offer a great service at a totally reasonable price — what more could you ask for? My husband sometimes sends me these little bouquets at work, and I always get a ton of compliments from my coworkers. The mason jar is super cute, and the flowers always last for a really good amount of time.
I love being able to send these to people and know that they’re going to get a gorgeous bouquet — you can’t say that with a lot of other florists, especially at this price.

You guys are awesome! Especially the very patient Meghan (correct me if I’m wrong). My girlfriend was having feeling sick at home so I decided to send her flowers from 3000 miles away. They were prompt in taking my order and sent me a photo to my email of what the bouquet looked like before delivery. After the bouquet was delivered I called my Saracha and she told me that they had not arrived. The store went out of their way and called her that there was a package delivery for her downstairs!
The roses look great on IG and IRL!
