NYC Limousine

I recently used this service to take me from The Intercontinental Times Square to JFK. This company offered the best all inclusive fare I could find. It was $ 176 including, tax, tolls, and gratuity. I ordered a 6 passenger limousine for two people and they sent a 10 passenger at not extra cost. They also offer discounts if you make your reservation on their website.

Cancelled on me 25 minutes before pickup. Not okay! Tried to blame it on me since I had 4 people on a previous ride when I booked an SUV– they assumed I had 4 people going back to the airport. No, just two. «Uh uh uh, your driver had car trouble, uh uh…»
Called Über– 4 minute wait– half the price!!!

I booked a car from this company, to pick up an important guest from Newark to Manhattan. I paid online using my credit card. Later, I was surprised that the driver has asked my guest to pay him in cash, which he did. It is such an embarrassment.
However, I had to call them many times and waited over two months before getting my money back.
Never again.

They made a reservation they couldn’t keep and didn’t even call to tell me they couldn’t keep it. I would have missed my boat.
What is the point of a reservation if it’s not kept? Might as well take a taxi.
Never again.

I hired this company to pick up my supervisor. TERRIBLE IDEA! First off, if you are the person answering the phone and taking reservations,…at least TRY to sound like you aren’t a second away from jumping off of a 30 story building. I spoke to a total of two different people and they both had a very unpleasant and uncaring tone. They had a time frame to pick up my supervisor and they didn’t even call to at least say «hey, we really apologize but our driver is stuck in a little bit of traffic, he will be there in about XX minutes.» This is completely unprofessional! This is a limo service which people pay for! The only reason I was aware of this was because my supervisor decided to call the company and at that point canceled because they were not there. He then relayed the message to me. When I called NYC Limousine to make sure that we will not be charged, (a credit card authorization was signed) the employee told me
«well obviously if he didn’t step into the car, he did not get charged.» This really made me upset! NO ITS NOT OBVIOUS IF A C.C.A HAS ALREADY BEEN FILLED OUT. You DO NOT treat customers like you could care less about how they feel about the company since OBVIOUSLY, we are the ones who make YOUR company go ROUND! I will NEVER contact this company again. Staff is absolutely APATHETIC, and to be honest, it makes me wonder what the driver would have been like. At this point, I’m glad the service got canceled. If you are looking to arrive someplace ON TIME, good luck with this company.
