History

Established in 2007.

For the past 7 years we have provided web development services for non-​profits and small businesses in the New York City metro area and around North America. We have supported and managed large websites for companies like WhyHunger, the URJ and China Institute. Currently we work out of Empire State We Works at 346 5^th avenue in Manhattan.

Meet the Business Owner

Jared S.

Business Owner

Jared is President and Lead Developer of NYC HelpDesk a nationally recognized web development company based in New York City. His background is in web development, project-​management, communications, and he has a passion for open source programming. He holds a BA in English literature from University at Buffalo, a MA in TESOL from SUNY Stony Brook and a MA in theoretical linguistics from CUNY Graduate Center where he is currently a Ph. D candidate. He also a former Peace Corps Volunteer. In his free time Jared enjoys cooking for his wife and 2 daughters, playing in open fire hydrants, and starting conversations with unsuspecting Uzbeks in Uzbek.
