As far as I know you must live at Normandie Court Apartments to join. They do have a non-member community area for residents. If you do not belong to the gym(by paying the extra yearly fee) you will not be allowed entrance to the exercise equipment or pool. At one time they offered free exercise classes. Some of the instructors would give you a serious workout! When you join you are provided with the ID card. Memberships run approximately $ 600 – 700.00 a year. They do not have a family membership. If they have started family membership recently I’m not aware of it.

Don’t bother joining this gym. They are absolute nazis about their ridiculous«rules» which are enforced entirely at random. Guest fees are exorbitant and they will sneer at you all day for bringing a(paid) guest. Members cannot bring their kids while they work out — the club manager would rather you leave them home illegally. UNLESS the kid(s) have fully paid memberships, in which case somehow the risk of injury is mitigated. The current manager, Sue Kelly, is an Equinox reject who has hijacked their email formats(signs everything«In good health, Sue») but lacks the fitness savvy and customer service skills that Equinox has built a brand on. This place is a joke. Save yourself the aggravation and join one of the many other local gyms. The cake topper is that this place is so dilapadated, it makes even NYSC on 91st/3rd look like a palace.
