I got sold USED bone color Thea ‘s. CHECK your shoes before you purchase them that they haven’t been tried on by everyone in NY first. I live in LA so I have no way of returning these.

Amazing staff! Had such a wonderful appointment working with the designers at Nike Lab to create a shoe. For everyone that thinks that this is a Nike store, it’s not! This is a place where you can go to buy extremely limited Nike Lab merchandise and to design your own shoes in the Nike Lab. HIGHLY recommend that anyone who loves Nike as much as we do to take the opportunity to book an appointment. It was more than worth it. Can’t wait to come back again!

I LOVE Nike. Lets get that straight but this little shop is really light on what I expected it to be. Small shop full of pricey high end gear. You really only need about 10 mins to figure out if its for you or not. Cool design but really lacks in delivering the true brand experience I’m used to being wow’d by in a Nike location. Check it out if you like, but you’re not missing out on anything if you don’t.

Came with friend. Friend bought very expensive shoes. While we shopped afterwards we were asked to leave if we were finished shopping. Obvious we were not done otherwise we’d leave. He disagreed with the fact that we weren’t done and forced us to leave. don’t understand why or how

I understand the complaints about the lack of customer service, I wasn’t greeted and had to figure out who was working to get my shoe size.
I went on a Monday afternoon and it was pretty quite with lots of tourist.
Had to find a spot to try on, but having said that, employees did smile and the front door man verrrrrry faintly almost whispered goodbye so my experience was okay.

The sales staff here is nonexistent. Came here to look for a specific shoe that wasn’t avaliable at Niketown. They had it here but it was difficult to locate an employee to go fetch the size I wanted. I eventually went up to the cashier and even he noticed no one was around, finished his transaction and then looked up the shoe I wanted and went into the back to search for it. (This guy was great, everyone else was clearly just there for a paycheck.)
The store manager really needs to promote better hospitality and customer care because the shopping experience here is like shopping at a Marshalls or TJ Maxx, you gotta go find it yourself! Even Kohl’s does better!

It was a zoo on Saturday morning. It is like walking into a sample sale in Soho but in a tiny space. And don’t even think about trying to look at the goods from between the wall and the racks, you will get yelled at. What store doesn’t let customers browse from both sides of the racks? Weird!

Horrible customer service here from a young girl with blonde hair at the cash register. I spent a ridiculous amount on shoes and she still gave me an attitude. I bought a limited pair of shoes and you can only get one per customer. She was saying to me that I had already been in the store earlier in the day even though I hadn’t. Then when I went to go swipe my credit card, nothing was happening. She was saying my card wasn’t working but as soon as she pressed a button, my card worked just fine. These people really need to relax. I don’t think they understand that they are just shoe salesmen that are easily replaced. I would urge other people not to spend any money here but that’s not going to happen I’m never going to buy anything from this store again.

Great store all the employees seem to be relaxed I don’t really like the whole rush when employees seem too eager to help like on your back about every single thing it’s no need for that and at this store people seem to be more relaxed and it’s about Sneaker culture its not about super eager employees trying to make a sale this is not saks and they often have a good selection and easy to buy the Sneakers
only thing I don’t like is sometimes when they have raffles for shoes I don’t feel like they do it fair and many people might agree that they sometimes let their friends and family buy the sneakers first and resell them for extra money :-)
but all in all the store itself and the ease of buying shoes without the hassle and the employees being helpful when you need. great store

I enjoy the atmosphere of shopping in this space. I definitely prefer coming here than going to a foot locker or champs type store. In fact, I haven’t visited one of those stores in over two years I believe. It’s a more relaxed vibe. Honestly, I normally just show up for certain collaborations or special releases that are kind of niche market pieces. On some of the more «coveted» items that they release, they offer raffles that you need to enter ahead of time to prevent queuing outside which makes the process a little more humane, so it’s good to call ahead when there’s a popular item being released through the store. The customer service is usually pretty up to par.

I got a pair of new nike shoes here. Nike juvanate Black. Super light and comfortable. Best shoes for summer when you need to walk long. It’s one of my fav shoes in my closet now. Can go hiking and any outdoor sports with it. How I realized how important a comfortable shoe it is. Thank you BF!

Formerly known as the Nike Mercer… Nike Sportswear or known to many currently as NikeLab is where Nike sells various men and women Sportswear footwear and apparel products that you may not see elsewhere. Although, NikeLab is a good idea for those wanting to be the first in a specialized item the issue that lies with a store like this is plain an simple… NikeLab like so many other stores in the SoHo area is pretty much a boutique. Well what lacks in a place such as a boutique… it doesn’t necessarily cater the best of customer service nor does it cater to EVERY demographic.
Added to that being that Nike is a well known global brand who’s sportswear sells at a high rate and fairly quickly… that also means sizes and inventory go fairly quickly as well, which means for a boutique-​esque version of Nike means that the limited sportswear that they have becomes… even more limited.
Would I suggest Nike Sportswear to the average sneaker collector… ummm, in a nutshell I would just say pick your poison. Sportswear, specifically «exclusive Nike footwear» is very much overly hyped. There are times where there are what is called quick strike releases that sell out very fast and once they do you will most likely never see a release of the item again or not for a good amount of years and Nike Lab is somewhat a place to get a sneaker such as that, but don’t always put your eggs in one basket. Footlocker, Champs, some uptown and downtown Brooklyn mom and pop sneaker spots and in some cases House of Hoops have those same releases as well as long as you get to those places on time for the releases. I would just say pay more attention to online releases and the locations being given for those releases. NikeLab isn’t necessarily the end all be all of exclusive and not seen Sporstwear/footwear…but it’s an okay place to just stop by to for a random day in SoHo.

Good and pleasant store to browse, but I end up purchasing everything at the Nike in midtown or UES because the selection is wider…

Staff here have serious attitude! It seems obvious they don’t like having white customers in the store who aren’t what you’d think of as «street.» They treat your traditional high-​top customers like friends, but if you’re dressed up, good luck!
They acted like I was a pest and didn’t want to serve me. The staff member who «helped» me glared at me and when I asked for a size, acting all put upon.
Their staff failed to perform the basics, like providing recommendations and suggesting alternatives.
They use their exclusivity to act rude. Can’t they hire anyone better for this flagship?
They open at 11 — ridiculously late.
They’ve got limited sizes so you may just want to order online. I was looking for the x DSM Dunks and they didn’t have any 12s (nor did they online). If anything, order online to avoid these people.
And, of course, they make their products in sweatshops.

The store is not big but clean and organized. I have nothing to really complain about but this one girl cashier with a few small tattoos on her right arm and brown hair. When it was my turn, she happily greeted me. However, when she realized that one of my online returns’ tag was not attached to the merchandise and instead in the pocket, she automatically assumed that I had wore it. I tried to explain that it came like that and even had the plastic ring around the tag which would have been destructed if I had to remove it. But nope, she went on in her accusatory tone for my whole return. She flipped out again when she couldn’t find the exact match in her system, which was because the packing slip listed the retail price and I had bought it on sale. Her exact words were «Why did you give me this receipt with $ 90 when it was not?» Well miss, it cannot possibly be my fault for Nike’s downfalls. That was the packing slip that came with it and it was up to Nike what they wanted to list there. I didn’t go make it up. The whole time there, I couldn’t help but feel mistreated and judged as a customer. Will I come back here in the future? Maybe. Or maybe not.
Just realized what other reviewers have said about this store when I was about to post my review, which I wrote beforehand. I guess I should have known going in beforehand. But goes to show how terrible their customer service is in this particular Nike store.

The absolute worst customer service.
The sad part is that I actually love the products (but I would recommend going online or elsewhere). The raffle and release system when it comes to new shoes because that is appalling. Somehow people are able to buy multiple pairs and the whole system is rigged. The response I received on this was that «some people have friends and family enter the lottery system to get multiple tickets.» I totally believe that but not when you are walking out with several pairs during a new release.
On the side of this when you walk in you literally have to scout out and find somebody to help you as they are just standing around. I would recommend going online first if you’re even going into the store — but wait, just order online while you’re there! Get the drift?
I would recommend going Midtown to the Dover Street Market Nike Lab location to save your time. The customer service level is impeccable there. Also, there are six other floors and a café.

Shopped here a few times. Don’t expect a superstore as it’s more of a niche lab! They have some amazing product. Gets crwded really quickly as the space is very small.
Hit or miss with customer service. I have had some excellent service and also have been in there at times where it’s as if I did not exist.
Bought my first pair of lime green fly-​knits in here and always on the look out for cool sneakers.

I agree with most of the other reviews here that the customer service isn’t great. It doesn’t help that it’s hard to tell employees and shoppers apart since the employees might be wearing jeans and an obscure Nike Lab shirt so you’re not sure who to ask for help. But this location has Nike Lab items that you can’t see in person anywhere else including Niketown, so if that’s what you’re looking for, this is the only place to go.

Absolutely appalling that I made a conceited effort not to buy anything and make sure the shop assistant saw my angry glares.
She was so reluctant to help me (this was after I had requested to speak to someone from the aforementioned over-​staffed narcissistic attendants all on their phones and talking b*******) that within a few moments of me asking questions she recommended another Nike store. It was a blessing to save me from that hideous shop but completely contradictory in making them look any good.
Baffles me to think why a brand in such a great location would soil their image with such awful, adolescent, cold and not so well dressed employees. Do yourself a favour Nike.

I’m not a sneaker head. I’m not a Nike guy. I actually own more converse then Nike. But, when I left work early yesterday I finally decided to walk into this shit show after about 2 years of never wanting to be a part of the herd.
I knew I was going to get bad service based on stories from friends who’ve been here, but what I was shocked to find was it is much worse then their stories. Whoever is in charge of this store has decided that customer service is irrelevant because they believe the hunger and need for the product outweighs the effort to help and service the customer. Hmm, this sounds like a movie I’ve seen once or 169 times.
If «the fish stinks at the head», Nike is to blame for the horrible workers in this store. They hired the team to represent their brand in one of the most elite shopping neighborhoods in the world and have allowed this nonsense to tarnish the brand. Shame on you Nike that you think we are so mindless. And shame on you, the consumer, that keep coming back and taking this abuse.
I bought a pair of Nikes. What I tried on what I was looking for and needed it for an event that was happening in a few hours. But the clear lack of any effort to help me was more then I could stand. As I looked around, I noticed the lack of desire to work at the most basic level of salesmanship was happening all around me. The workers clearly hate their jobs and in turn, care little of helping the people who shop and treat them as annoying flies they’d just assume smash and toss in the garbage. I knew I could get this shoe online. I bought it, to «get it over with».
This is NYC. I can get great product anywhere. The difference is customer service and time. If Bergdorf and Barney’s treats me better, why would I let a bunch of wanna b hipster kids from Aint No Body Got Time For That University treat me like dirt? I am never coming back to this store again. Cuz, I don’t have time for THAT nonsense.
