Additionally, the latest edition of NYSSA Market Forecast™ questioned the worldwide asset bubble, while our Global Investing Committee has been covered by Barron’s and CNBC.

Meet the Manager
Karen S.
Manager
A proficient scientist as well as a seasoned investment professional, Karen Sterling, Ph.D., earned her chartered financial analyst® designation in 2006 and became the first-ever CFA® charterholder to head the New York Society of Security Analysts in its 77-year existence when she was elected chief executive in 2014. Her appointment marked a pivotal moment for the Wall Street organization, ushering in a transformation that has seen NYSSA re-order its governance.
Sterling has leveraged her training in biochemistry and molecular biophysics to excel in research across the health care sector for high yield authority Martin Fridson as well as Avalon Group. She has independently published her work through Karen Sterling Bio-Pharma Insight. Stationed in Antarctica as a research scuba diver on a National Science Foundation project in 2005, Sterling became the only financial analyst in history to update her coverage via satellite from a remote campsite on the continent.
