I was running a little late but once I arrived I was taken to a room right away! I was given a numbing cream on my lips and was told more about the whole lip filler process by Debbie. She was a lot of help and described the pain levels. Dr. Westreich really made it a smooth process.

Dr. Westreich is brilliant. I went to a few doctors before finding him, so glad I was patient with my search. I had a former break that needed some fixing and polishing and wanted a bit more lift in my tip. I had my surgery on Monday and am writing this post exactly one week later.
Google «Gisele nosejob». That’s exactly what I wanted– natural, still my nose, just a little prettier. I got EXACTLY what I asked for. Don’t think twice before going to him; he is an AMAZING surgeon. Crystal was awesome as well– she helps with coordinating and getting as much insurance help as possible.
5 stars isn’t enough– I’m so happy!!! Only regret is that I didn’t find him years ago. Thank you New Face!!!

Most likely the best doctor/​doctor office I have ever been to. I went to doctor richard westreich because he was dual board certified both as an ENT and as a surgeon. I had had sinus problems for years. I went to
Him during a sinus episode. I was so fed up with it I asked if we could do sinus surgery. Even though I had had potentially 20 sinus infections in the last 10 years the doctor would not agree to surgery yet. He gave me
Some sprays to treat my sinus issue and said if I wanted to get surgery I should get a CT scan first. A month or so later I Got the scan and per review of the images had a deviated septum and some other structural issues. I went to his office to Review and he still did not push me to surgery but let me decide what I wanted to do. He spent about 30 – 45 minutes with me to discuss the issues /​procedures /​concerns I had.
He is extremely personable, has an awesome bedside manner, and makes you feel confident and comfortable in him

I had the surgery and have had 2 follow up visits. One of the visits I made last minute because I was uncomfortable a few days after surgery (congested) and his office made sure to get me in to relieve my congestion.
Not only is he amazing but his staff is as well All 3 women that I spoke to there have been prefect. They are always happy and willing to answer questions whether I called by phone or stopped by randomly to the office. He and his staff all must really love their jobs, you can tell.
I would highly recommend using him and his staff. Couldn’t be any happier with the experience overall.

I’m extremely shocked at some of the poor reviews Dr. Westreich and his staff are receiving. I first found Dr Westreich around winter in 2011 in hopes to fix both functional and cosmetic issues with my nose. I had previously seen another surgeon who said the function of my nose was fine which was clearly not the case because I couldn’t breathe. Dr. Westreich not only found that problem but others. I had my procedure done in January 2012 I have been stopped numerous times by people saying my nose is beautiful, not knowing I had surgery I informed them of him and have sent him over three nose surgeries since. All who are as happy as I am with my results. After such amazing results with my nose I decided to fill my lips, which once again was beyond my expectations. I have recommended Dr. Westreich more times then I can imagine, and I will continue to spread to word about him. He has changed my life, the lives of my family members, and friends. For him I am truly grateful for my appearance and that I can breathe =).

I went to see Dr. Westreich for sinus pain and he was great. I called at about 10 am and his staff answered right away and fit me in same day. I had used over the counter meds for about two days thinking it was just sinus congestion. By the time I realized that wasn’t working I was in a lot of pain and desperate to see someone right away.
Dr. Westreich was very thorough and responsive. He walked through the possible problems and checked them all. He prescribed antibiotics and laid out a course of treatment which was then handed to me in writing so I could know what to do and when to call if the problem continued. His staff called my pharmacy immediately and arranged everything so I just had to go pick up the meds. I really appreciated the details because when you are sick it’s hard to remember everything the doctor says since you just want to get home and climb back into bed.

Dr. Westreich made me feel really comfortable prior to surgery by going over what he was going to do with just the right amount of detail and using pictures of the inside of my nose.
He was super personable and patient as he answered all of my many questions. I knew I was in good hands prior to my procedure and the proof was in the pudding after.
The nurses and all office staff are also super friendly and kind, making going follow up appointments so much more of a pleasure than said activity usually merits!
I can now breathe much easier! I definitely recommend Dr. Westreich very highly!

.Since I started this review, I have visited Dr. Westreich three times, each time having botox and restalyn fillings. I am exceptionally pleased with the professionalism, courtesy and «chairside» manner of the doctor and each of his assistants. His front office — I deal with Ossie — is now the best I’ve seen. Appointments are generally on time. There was only one delay and I was advised in advance and kept apprised of the progress. His in-​office assistants have all been just wonderful and very caring ensuring my comfort every step of the way. As for Dr Westreich, well, no one can replace my previous provider who has retired, but Dr. Westreich is very, very close. Genial and caring, he explains each step of the procedure, listens to and respects my comments and suggestions and guides me through every bit of the way. The results are always exactly what I asked for and expected. I love them.

A few years ago I noticed that I started getting some ugly wrinkle lines around my mouth and eyes (crows feet). I knew I was too young for a facelift but really wanted to do something about it other than cheap, ineffective wrinkle creams. After consulting with Dr. W. I felt very comfortable going with the Juvederm approach he recommended. The results were amazing. Overnight I noticed a dramatic reduction in the lines around my mouth and eyes. I could not be happier, and wish I would’ve done this a few years when they first began to pop up. I feel blessed to have found such a reliable surgeon here in Manhattan, even though I didn’t technically go under the knife. And the front desk was super helpful with scheduling and before and after follow up. Will definitely be coming back in the future should any more pesky lines show themselves!

Dr. Westreich is amazing! Apparently I’ve had a deviated septum my whole life and didn’t know it. I always knew my voice was kind of nasally and had trouble breathing through my nose, but I thought that’s just the way it was. Well finally one day I got a new general physician and she said my nose seemed to be blocked and that I should visit an ENT doctor. So I got a referral to Dr. W and it turns out a bone in my nose was blocking my airflow almost 90%!! No wonder I could only breathe through one side most of the time.
Anyways, I went under anesthesia for the surgery so I don’t remember anything, but I felt very comfortable with Dr. Westreich and all his staff throughout the process, and they didn’t tease me too much when I came out from being under and was talking gibberish. Now that it’s all said and done I can breathe so much better, and can’t believe I wasted so many years of my life thinking that was normal.

Dr. Westreich is an absolute artist! 2 years ago I broke my nose, and Dr. Westreich did a stunning job re-​aligning it (just 6 months before my wedding). 4 weeks ago I went to him for cosmetic nose work, and I am absolutely in love with the results!!! He is honest, kind and incredibly talented! He personally called me after surgery to check in, and emailed me when I returned to work to make sure I was ok (since I work with aggressive children). I also get lip filler with him and he is an absolute perfectionist, even my swelling is perfectly symmetrical! I’ve also referred my brother to him for a cosmetic nose procedure and once again, absolutely incredible, natural-​looking work. I cannot recommend him enough!

I noticed dramatic & immediate results, nearly eliminating the severe folds from my nose to the corner of my mouth almost instantly. This was something I thought about doing for a long time, and I’m glad I finally did it. My results are amazing!!! I have absolutely no idea how anyone can have anything bad to say about this doctor. These experiences are absolutely nothing like the ones that I’ve had with him. I found him to be very professional, attentive and thorough. He made me feel very comfortable about every decision I was making. He was also always available whenever I had a question or a concern. His secretary at the time (I think her name was Tanisha) was also just as polite and helpful. I had my surgery with him about a year and a half ago and I’m very happy with the results. I would recommend him to anyone looking for an amazing surgeon.

Given the doctor’s response to my review, I feel that I need to write an update as the doctor is not being truthful and I also think that it is inappropriate for a doctor to share so many details about a patient’s history on a public website!
First of all, my nose is now crooked/​asymmetrical and it was NOT like this before my surgery. The doctor states we decided not to touch the tip during surgery, and the reason was because it was fine… it was not crooked!!! The crookedness is a result of whatever mistakes the doctor made. Second, the doctor states that I never communicated my unhappiness before. This is simply not true. I mentioned my dissatisfaction numerous times during the visits, and the doctor acted like he couldn’t see any problems with my surgery. It was ONLY after I wrote the review on Unilocal that he actually acknowledged that something was wrong. I did go in to meet with him, but after the terrible job that he did there was no way that I was going to let him operate on me again. His only concern is me removing this review, and after our meeting his office left me a voicemail asking if I would take down the Unilocal review without any interest in whether or not I wanted him to perform the revision surgery.
I wrote this review because every single day I regret that I had this surgery done, and I wanted to share my experience so that no one has to go through what I have. Every day I look in the mirror and see this awful crooked nose that did not look like this before the surgery. I made the mistake of using this doctor, and hope others don’t make the same mistake.

Dr. Westreich is an amazing person, and an immensely skilled surgeon. Choosing to undergo surgery is a very personal decision, and Dr. Westreich, Lauren, and Ossie made the process as easy as possible. Everyone was attentive, helpful, and kind.
I selected Dr. Westreich because he is double-​board certified by the American Board of Facial Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology. He is experienced, and undeniably, an expert in his field. Furthermore, he made me feel safe, he is a patient advocate (I had a few problems with my insurance covering the surgery), and he clearly loves his job.
Having a septorhinoplasty is long and a difficult journey (because of the healing time), but one that has been well worth it. My results are truly incredible. I no longer have a deviated septum, I can breathe, and simply put, my nose is perfect. I really couldn’t be any happier. I am beyond lucky to have chosen such a phenomenal surgeon for my septorhinoplasty. I highly recommend him!
I have read the poor reviews on Unilocal for Dr. Westreich, and quite honestly, I am surprised, and in great disbelief that people could be so negative over such an incredible doctor. I believe that they are petty reviews, which should be disregarded. All I can say is, make the decision to see Dr. Westreich based on his credentials and experience. He will easily win you over with his caring demeanor, and expertise.

I’ve been going to see Dr. Westreich for the past year and a half anytime I have a sinus infection or lose my voice. He diagnosed me as having lesions on my vocal cords due to voice misuse and recommended another specialist who said I needed voice therapy. Previously, I had been losing my voice at least once a year, but have not since Dr. Westreich did his initial diagnosis. He is very through and patient and answers all of your questions. I honestly don’t know what these other reviewers are talking about. He’s a great doctor and I highly recommend him.

Had an appointment with Dr. Westreich for a septo-​rhinoplasty. He seemed arrogant, but competent, so I decided to go with him for the procedure. However, the girl working the front desk (Lauren) is completely incompetent, which is why I wouldn’t recommend him. Just wanted to save someone else from the frustration of dealing with her. When you book a doctor, make sure the staff is good too, b/​c they have to deal with insurance/​hospitals etc. so they are an important factor in this process.
Update: Due to the emails I have been getting, I realized my post wasn’t clear: I ended up using another surgeon, not Dr. Westreich. I can not comment on Westreich as a surgeon b/​c I switched to another doctor.

What a jerk. Seriously. Would give him zero stars if I could. Went to him suspecting I had an ear infection — pain, fever, fatigue, etc. Tried to tell him some history but he interrupted me to say he wasn’t interested in «old news». Huh? Tried to explain my symptoms and he interrupted me again to ask me if I wanted to be the doctor or let him diagnose me. Double huh? After an oddly hostile examination he proclaimed no ear infection, I had acid reflux. What about the fever? You probably had a cold. What about the fatigue? I’m not a GP, I can’t help you if you’re just tired. I asked him for antibiotics anyway and he told me to try the reflux medication for a while first, if I still felt bad to call back for the antibiotic Rx. When I started to tell him I would be out of town the next week and filling an Rx would be difficult where I was, he interrupted me AGAIN to tell me my vacation plans would not determine his diagnosis. WTF!!! I should have known I was in trouble when I saw framed articles in the room he authored on the wonders of botox and wrinkle fillers. My kindergarten game of doctor with Paul Fratz yielded better a diagnosis, (yep that’s an innie) and he was much nicer to boot. I found another ENT through Zocdoc who was nice attentive, did a thorough exam and didn’t treat me like something he scraped off his shoe. Oh and guess what? He told me I had an ear infection.

I actually went to see Dr. Westreich in his brooklyn office for an ear ache, turned out to be an ear infection! I found him on zoc doc looking for an ENT, didn’t realize he was actually way more specialized (plastic surgery etc.) anyway… he was great, really thorough, took his time, didn’t feel rushed. Definately recommned him. I feel much better now!
