Agree with reviewer below, this is not a authentic place, but food is fast and cheap, also not the healthiest. Although I tried brown rice with beef broccoli and sauce on the side which was not bad actually.

Okay, the food is cheap but after today’s incident i don’t think i will be back… my first visit was okay. food was decent but too oily. today i wanted something spicy so i ordered the singapore mai fun. looks yummy until i saw a ROACH in the food. i was grossed out right away. i couldn’t even finish it. wasted almost $ 7 for it. ugh. but i will never be back ever again. still grossed out as i type out this review.

The best this place can get is just ok. The worst can be pretty bad. Stick with basics. Don’t try anything fancy or complicated. If you do you’ll get sugary glop. I actually like the wonton soup and pork egg rolls. But I’ve had some horrible dishes too like the shredded pork. The worst dish I’ve had in years at a cheap chinese place! And the people here are non too nice either. So overall barely ok.

I was on my way to the New York International Auto Show and hadn’t had lunch so I stopped in here for a quick bit. Now I’ve heard of cold sesame noodles and seen it on television but never had it myself until today when I saw it in the appetizer section of the menu of this fast food Chinese restaurant. For $ 4 you get a lot of food and it is in no way an appetizer portion. It was put in a normal sized(about 7 or 8 inch in diameter) foil pan and it was packed to the max. The top had scallions, some Chinese pepper sauce, shredded carrots and the sesame sauce. Within the noodles was mixed with shredded cabbage, celery, carrots and bean sprouts. Very tasty combination and not too spicy,

You only come here because it’s flat out fast and cheap! You can definitely eat better elsewhere especially around East Village and Chinatown. This place got pretty much all of the typical Chinese Fast food you can think of. The food will most likely contain MSG but at least it’s better than eating Panda Express’ MSG food. Sometimes I get a hint of the African American stereotype culture whenever I eat here. Ordering fried chickens and fries(No idea why they serve that here) and asking for grape soda. Not judging! I like eating fried chicken every now and then and drinking some of that purple drink too! :D

It’s A-Ok! b/c it’s cheap… a ton of food(but only ok food) and it’s pretty fast. I mean like really cheap for like 2 lb’s of food. 6 bucks you get a lunch speical of some sort of meat, from sesame chicken to some sort of roast pork egg foo young. pork fried rice, white or vegetable fried rice also avaliable, a soup(egg drop, hot and sour or wonton) or an egg roll. Now mind you — this is americanized chinese food — so don’t expect authentic food — just remember the faster they serve it to you — the less healthy it is… it’s served up pretty freakishly fast. Service is loud and obnoxious — but… i like it when people behind the counter are so busy they only know how to yell. I don’t know it’s comforting to me having a lady yell in bad english«YOUTHISISYOURORDER! COMEGETITNOW!!!» but they aren’t mean about it. Just a little obnoxious.

This place used to be good but has gone downhill. I ordered fried pork chops and barbeque beef on a stick. The guy behind me ordered fried fish. the idiot on working the fry station put everything in 1 basket and proceeded to cook everything at once in 1 basket. when he pulled my pork chops out and cholesterol them, they were not cooked yet so he dropped it back in the grease which is totally disgusting. it made them totally greasy and unedible. I will not be coming back here ever again! Thank god there’s a new place on 9’th avenue. 9’th moon is my new place for chinese food !!!

The food wasn’t terrible. I had Hunan Beef, and it was decent, though you can find better in the neighborhood. The space is garish, but not completely horrible. The counter staff are really unhelpful and rude. Don’t be expecting to get the soup with your lunch special — you will not and if you ask, well, you’ll get just gruff responses with no explanation. It’s on the pricier end of the local Chinese take-out price range. Not advised.
