I really wanted to like this place because of the quality ingredient list and because it’s open late, unlike most other places down here. However, it’s just over priced and not that good. My crust has always been burnt yet strangely chewy. They totally skimp on toppings, even the sauce!

I ordered a Di Parma pizza tonight. I found a blonde, long hair entangled in the arugula. I cannot tell you how disgusted I am.
I am a brunette, the server and cook were brunette males. I don’t know how long that blonde hair was stewing in the arugula for. I don’t expect to inspect my food for hair every time I eat it, so I pried a hair out of my mouth. Speechless.

I really wanted to love the pizza because the first time I ordered it was delicious.
It was completely soggy and goey — I could not even pick up a slice! A bit undercooked. Only a couple tiny bits of fennel sausage (additional $ 2 mind you).
If you’re too busy and/​or understaffed, I would rather wait longer for my pizza to be made the RIGHT WAY then to get a dead pizza that looks like throw up (yes, it really did remind me of throw up).
I’m not sure if this is your way to keep a customer coming back for more.

This place is good, really good. The pizzas are not greasy, seem healthy, etc.
I had no idea they existed though, even though I live in the Financial District. I just happened to walk by with my husband he told me to try this place. They should have more advertisements!

Dig the name, and I’m glad they fixed the listing for their B&M outpost to no longer be in the food truck genre. Having visited their mobile predecessor at Slice Out Hunger, I was happy to drop by for their Bufala D.O.P. Pizza $ 11 (Mozzarella di bufala D.O.P, basil, organic grape tomatoes, shaved parmigiano reggiano D.O.P. And extra virgin olive oil.) which was good, but not great. Friendly staff, but they didn’t pay attention to the pickup note and had to toss the pie they had ready too soon and make me a new one. No menu on the walls rendered the large windows & glass doors pretty useless.

I ordered the mushroom/​truffle pizza. Delivery took a while… By the time the pizza arrived, it wasn’t hot anymore. What was strange to me was how thick the crust is and how how thin the rest of the dough is. The topping and cheese were REALLY good and flavorful. But since the pizza was most extremely thin, the cheese and toppings made the dough soggy except for the crust.
It was a small pizza and a great size for one person for dinner. It’s around the size of three big regular slices. But it wasn’t extremely filling since (again), the dough was extremely thin. The crust was nice and fluffy and thick. I don’t think I’ll order from here again, but I might try it in the restaurant instead. This is just based on a one time experience and it was delivered. Still… I don’t think the whole pizza would’ve been thicker, I think that’s just their style. It really deserves a 3.5 just because it did taste good even though it was pretty soggy. But it doesn’t deserve 4 stars in my opinion.

This place opened recently in the lunch-​starved area that is Wall Street. It’s a welcome addition for a quick lunch! And while we have more traditional pizza place down here, this is the first that serves European style pizza (very thin that you almost have to eat it with a fork and knife). The pizza crust is very tasty (I think they use a brick fire oven) and the toppings are also enjoyable. Took one star off for the price ($ 11 for a personal margarita is normally more than I’d like to spend), but I enjoy treating myself when I visit here.

They make great pizzas, with perfectly chewy crust and fresh ingredients.
That said, their hours have in my experience been very unreliable. I live around the block and regularly stop by for my late night pizza fix well before their listed closing time, to either see who I can only assume is one of the managers on their phone in an otherwise empty kitchen, all too happy to tell you that they’re closed for the night, or to see the place already locked up for the night. They seem to close whenever the manager that night fancies, which has left a very sour taste in my mouth. Very disappointing, as I’d like to give this place more of my business for what’s otherwise an honestly very good product.

Really liked this place when it first opened. Several things tonight led up to a dissatisfied experience:
A Diavolo pizza inexplicably did not have signature honey truffle oil!
No Parmesan cheese available!
No sparkling water available!
There was only one bottle of water left, unrefrigerated and no one could open it, including a couple patrons who tried to help!
Icing on the cake: the pizza boxes here are too big to fit in the recycling bin, which has a note on it asking patrons to break down their own boxes before disposing of them. Really guys, after a $ 17 personal pizza I think you can break the oily box down for me thank you very much. How about a simple plate for those eating in?
That said, the pizza is so damn good, I will still come back.

Wow… fidi you know you’re moving up in the world when you’ve finally landed a legitimate pizza place. This place is good. It’s Neapolitan style not New York style, to be clear which is my favorite. And best yet super affordable with pies like a margherita only at $ 8. Get the a diavlo which is a spicy pie with mikes hot honey drizzled on it, sweet and spicy, like a pizza you haven’t had before. It’s probably their version of Paulie Gees spicy soprasetta pie in Brooklyn. Don’t expect much else on the menu, pizza is where it’s at!

I work in the Trump building, so I’m constantly getting good old whiffs of pizza in the lobby.
I’ve only visited this establishment once and ordered the Margherita pizza + mushrooms.
It’s a nice quick lunch run that does the job. The pizza is decent but nothing I would lust over. Oh, and my personal pie only had ONE piece of basil thrown in the middle. What?!
I wasn’t too impressed overall. Staff is friendly though.

I went here last Friday 11/​16, the pizzas that I received was rushed, and looked like the chef just slapped on the ingredients, the sauce, and the cheese wasn’t evenly spread. I asked for a well baked pie, and that wasn’t done. I don’t know if he was exhausted after the lunch rush hour, but at 9 $ a pie, I find that to be a poor excuse. I have been here before and really enjoyed the pizzas, not to sure if I would go back.

No, I do not like my pizza burnt. I came here with such high expectations, I ordered the buffalo mozzy with basil and sauce. And my entire pie was basically burnt and so the burnt taste overpowered what was supposed to be a pizza. Let alone, it’s salty and the dough was not chewy or anything like a Neapolitan pizza is supposed to be. The only thing that was good was the service and speed of how quickly I got my «pizza»

What makes them special is that they’re counter service takeout Neapolitan-​style pizza. That’s unusual. You usually have to sit down for that. With Neapolitan Express you can go during your lunch break. It takes about five minutes to get your personal pie after ordering. Maybe less.
I’ve been here twice. Both times the crust has been crispy and chewy. The pies with bufala instead of regular mozzarella are best, for a few dollars extra.

Came here after spending a few hours walking around Brooklyn Heights and venturing over the bridge into lower Manhattan. After walking the bridge I began craving pizza. I didn’t want to go to a sit-​down/​wait-​on type place as it was just me (and wanted to save a little cash), but also wanted something higher quality than a «2 slices and a soda for $ 5» spot.
Neapolitan Express to the rescue!
Google maps took me to the wrong side of the building but I eventually found this spot tucked away on the back end of the building. Place was clean, had a very simple layout to it, and the smell was intoxicating.
Personal pies all hovering around $ 10 a pop and a friendly welcoming staff. Snagged myself a Margarita pizza and while it was cooking walked around the block to Duane Rade (is that what it’s called? I’m a west coast kid) to grab a large water bottle, came back and my pizza was ready!
Took a seat on the Federal Hall steps, enjoyed my pizza, chugged a bunch of water, and stared out over all the tourist taking photos on Wall St. Nice way to end my NYC trip.
Bonus points for the late night hours! Wish I had a spot like this out in the Bay Area.

I truly didn’t think that honest-​to-​God Neapolitan pizza could be made this well on a truck. I’m always impressed when any food truck impresario pulls off delicious to-​order food in such a tight space, but just the concept of packing the oven required to put out pizzas in volume within close proximity to a huge tank of diesel fuel seemed insurmountable.
As usual, I’m wrong. I gave Neapolitan Express a try when it was at the Dumbo food truck lot the other day – my A Diavolo was excellent, even after carrying it 15 minutes before eating. Unlike a lot of the spicy-​type pizzas you see on menus, this was really well-​balanced between the jalapenos, soppressata, and Mike’s hot honey on one side, and the cheese and medium-​sweet tomato sauce on the other.
My minor gripes would be that the crust – itself delicious, by the way – was a bit too soft in the center for my taste. (The charred outside ring was fantastic, however.) Second, the cheese was sliced a bit too thick, so it was a bit chewy in some places. Overall, though, it was really, really tasty, pretty quick (probably an 8 minute wait), and a decent price for a personal pizza – I’d gladly stand in line for it again.

This pizza was AMAZING and this shop is such a great find. I went here with two friends during my most recent trip to NYC, and it is such a gem in the Wall Street area.
The size of the pizza is perfect for one person — it’s generous without being overwhelming — and the ingredients are so fresh. The staff was respectful and the wait time for the pizza was very reasonable despite how busy they get.
I smiled after my first bite, and I don’t think I’ve had high-​quality pizza this authentic since I was in Rome.

Excellent, simple pizza. The sausage and pepperoni and prosciutto are great and generous, but for some reason, the vegetable-​only options aren’t as abundant. Give me more veggies, please, because they go better with the simple crust and simple sauce and the simple cheese than the meats do, in my opinion. But maybe that’s just me.

In this city, pizza is so controversial. But the beauty of pizza is that there are so many styles and opinions. So I’ll just say this: if you love a good Neapolitan style pizza, are looking for something more substantial than your everyday slice but not an enormous pie, this is your place. It is absolutely perfect for that weeknight pizza for one, or if you cannot agree with others on toppings and just want to get what YOU want.
Simple, fresh, quality ingredients are what make this place stand out. I tried the Parma — the prosciutto is a generous amount and very flavorful. You can walk in and order from a friendly person and you’ll have your pizza faster than you’d expect in an eco-​friendly box.

They quickly called me to let me know they did not have any beverages (I ordered a soda) and they would give me a salad instead. I didn’t want another salad because I already had one in my order so they gave me the Nutella Pizza to try and who wouldn’t like nutella. that was probably my favorite thing.
On the actual items I ordered: Margarita and Bianca pizza. They are both decent, but I am not raving over it. The crust was too soft for my liking so the sort-​of watery (but still good tasting) tomato sauce was a little much for the soft dough. I am usually not a White pizza person, but I liked the Bianca better. It’s hard to find a white pizza without ricotta on it. Both pizza’s were also supposed to have parm on them, but didn’t seem like there was any.
I ordered the Kale Caesar salad without Caesar dressing, but I thought it would still be good with big Caesar croutons and parmesan cheese. Unfortunately, there were a few tiny tasteless croutons on top of the kale and no parmesan so I got all kale with a few tasteless croutons so for $ 8 it was definitely disappointing.
Overall, the customer service was good and I am glad they ended up giving me the nutella pizza because it was the more positive part of the meal.
