My KanDi Party is a fun and unique new kind of Birthday Party! Our parties are all about candy and creativity! Girls get to hand-​make their own candy themed jewelry. From candy necklace beads, to gumball beads, gummy bear charms and more, all of our parties are candy-​themed and tons of fun! Choose from non-​edible jewelry making, edible jewelry making, or both! Perfect for girls ages 4 and up, choose from one of our party packages, and leave the rest to us!

Based in NYC, Long Island and Westchester, we bring the party to you! We also have a do it yourself option, to order a party kit and host your own party!

We even have adorable customized invitations and thank you cards that you can print, as well as ad-​ons like custom candy-​themed cupcakes, candy-​themed face painting, and candy sushi making! We promise to make this your daughter’s BEST and most memorable birthday party EVER!

History

Established in 2014.

My KanDi Party was founded by two sisters, Jana and Dani Kates. Dani has a background in art and fashion, and is the designer for the popular candy themed jewelry line, KanDi Jewelry. A creative and artistic candy lover, she’s the idea girl behind My KanDi Party! Jana is a special-​ed teacher with over 10 years of experience working with children of all ages. Reliable, dependable, and organized, Jana is responsible for the planning and organization of My KanDi Parties!

This idea came about when Dani hosted a trunk show for her jewelry line and the store asked if she could do a jewelry making project with the kids at the store. She brought candy-​themed beads and broken lollipop rings for the kids to string and decorate and OMG it was such a success! After seeing the response, Dani knew she had to partner with Jana to offer girls of all ages the opportunity to have their own candy themed jewelry making parties!

Dani has a background in art and fashion with 10 years of experience designing candy-​themed products. She currently owns KanDi Jewelry, a company that designs and manufactures candy themed jewelry and hair accessories for girls of all ages. Through KanDi Jewelry, Dani has partnered with Nestle, Tootsie Roll, and Girl Scouts to collaborate on candy themed jewelry and hair accessories. Dani established My KanDi Party with her sister Jana as a way to offer girls the opportunity to learn how to make their own candy-​themed jewelry.
