One of worse dog runs I have found so far in Queens. Things it has going for it: — Decent size — Some shade — Adequate fencing Things it has against it: — No bathrooms for humans near run — Dirt ground cover — Not kept up like most other runs — Needs to renovated — No water for dogs — No separate large & small dog runs This run needs some work. Has this huge piece of metal(I am guessing art work) in the middle of the run. Residents and their dogs in this area deserve better than this. Dog runs/parks I have been to so far:

This park is a nice size, and my dog liked running around and sniffing all the eclectic chairs and benches and stuff scattered throughout, as well as the big sculpture thing in the middle. He had more room to run around than our dog park in Park Slope, and if other dogs had been there, he’d have had a ball. But we were alone, so my boyfriend chased after him for fun. Solid place to take your dog.

I’m sure my dog will love whatever dog run I take her to but I’m not a big fan of the dirt. There’s a nice shaded area and the people you run into are pretty nice but since there is a newer dog run nearby, this is more like a plan C.

Fairly spacious dog run but lacks: — random seating(chairs brought by people are scattered throughout) — dogs(usually empty, even on nicer days) — water source: water fountain available nearby, but outside the run There’s a nicer and newer dog run near Vernon-Jackson subway.
