Weddings & Engagement Photography
Capturing the best of love, and the people it consumes, is our passion. For Leigh Anna Thompson, the art director turned photographer behind Moss + Isaac, all weddings come down to the story. Focusing on artistic portraiture, special moments, and exquisite attention to detail, she and her team tell that story by taking a easy-going, documentary approach with their work. They capture not just the events of your wedding, but the emotion as well… directing when needed, but knowing when to step back and blend in to catch the intimate, genuine, and uninhibited moments as they unfold naturally.
Their goal is to help you have fun, relax, and feel comfortable in front of their cameras, while giving you timeless images to pass down for generations.
Published in the New York Times, Style Me Pretty, Brooklyn Bride, The Knot, Rue Magazine, Snippet & Ink, Merci NY, Grey Likes Weddings, Oh Lovely Day, Wiley Valentine, 100 Layer Cake, and Well Wed Magazine among others.

Shooting weddings has changed my life. It’s such an honor to get to know people in their most honest and loving moments, sharing in the most exciting day of their lives. It’s really meaningful to me that I can make something people will cherish and pass down for generations.
To me, it takes more than just shooting ability to be a great wedding photographer – personality is huge. Being able to put people at ease and keep calm during stressful situations is key. It’s having an awareness of your own affect on others and what’s happening around you – balancing when to lay low and let moments happen, when to coach, and when to step in to get that really great shot.
In my work, I crave emotion. It’s the spark that makes images come to life. I strive to capture very real and natural moments. I want my couples to not only see their beautiful images, I want them to FEEL the emotion… the joy, the excitement, the gravity of that one special day.
