This place has a nice vibe for the St. Marks area. There is a small and unprententious dining area with just a few tables which puts the focus where it needs to be — on the food. All I can say is «good eatin’.» Other reviewers have covered the options in detail — the only thing I want to add is that there are several combo packages and the grilled cheese slider comes with tatertots in leiu of meat. Mmmmmmm– entering Homer Simpson mode.

This review is going to be mini. To bad the prices arent as mini as the burgers. Have had much cheaper and better else where. This place is more suitable for small people or people with very little appetite.

The meat is awesome. It is fresh and really good. It’s a miniburger spot– like sliders. I’ve always had trouble understanding the concept… so I clarify this for others. MINI-Burgers. They use bison meat. Pretty damn impressive for a small spot. The burgers are cooked perfectly. I had only one to try it. I had tater tots too! It was awesome. I felt good in this place. The old Asian lady(Who I’m assuming is the owner) was pretty cool. I didn’t get a great look at their menu as I found this place across the street from Ten Degrees after leaving HH. 5⁄5 for food 5⁄5 for price 3⁄5 for atmosphere(felt like a high-class mcd’s?) 4⁄5 for experience.

Great deal! The meat for these burgers are prime! The fries had flavor that expensive places don’t even have. It’s a bargain for sure. I only wish the burgers came with more than just the meat but I understand. I’ll be back.

Hm. Bought a six-pack of these burgers for $ 7.50: two each of the Canadian bison, the beef, and the spicy pork sausage. They typically are $ 1.50 each, which is a great price, ya, and the six-pack is a deal. The burgers are even smaller than I expected, which is OK if they would have been awesome, but they all tasted similarly blandish and burnt. It seems there was some kind of filler in each patty. Breadcrumbs? And the patties were ridden with some kind of green dried spice, maybe thyme, that seemed out of place. The venue itself is small, fairly smoky, and not aesthetically pleasing. There’s only one table. The lady who mans the cash register(and cooks?) is really nice, true, but I dunno, I’m paying for good burgers. Sorry nice lady. Definitely a step below Mark.

These burgers are not good, barely worth the 1.50 each. I ordered the«black Angus» sliders with cheddar, when they arrived they tasted foul, like the meat had been stewed in the rancid fat from days before. The fries were soggy, also run through with fat, the oil obviously never got hot enough to actually fry. Thankfully there weren’t very many of them. I counted 12. The delivery guy also took my $ 20 and asked if I needed change on a $ 13 order, looked hurt when I asked for $ 2 back! Sorry but a $ 7 tip for walking 3 block, come on! I was being generous with giving him 5! In retrospect I would have normally tipped $ 3, but his«do you want change» play actually made me tip him more. Give this place a Big MISS!

Five stars for 4 great mini burgers! Fresh Canadian bison, delicious beef, spicy sausage and tangy turkey all served on a toasty buttery bun. To say that these $ 1.50 mini treats aren’t the best deal around would be a lie until you find out that you can add a side of tater tots for a buck. Enjoy!

According to the proprietor, a sweet Asian lady, this place has been open about a month now, but I hadn’t actually noticed it until the other day on my morning commute. I mentioned that I walk the same route every day and only just noticed it yesterday. She remarked that maybe she should get a bigger sign. I assured her it was fine and chalked it up to my being fairly out of it during my morning commute. I’m sure many of you can empathize; it is a fairly sized sign. The space is fairly small. Two outward facing window seats & approx. 4 small tables with seating for about 8 – 10 people. I’ll have to remember to take some pics the next time I’m back. I was greeted by a nice African American man who took my order behind a small host/hostess stand with the register atop. I found out shortly that he was the cook when he turned 90 degrees right and proceeded to cook my burgers, literally 4 steps away. The kitchen is separated from the dining area by a small wall. I could hear and smell the sound of my food cooking. Although I couldn’t see, I’m guessing everything is cooked in a fryer. My food though was not greasy and did not taste of oil. Onto the burgers. $ 1.50 for a mini burger, or get a six-pack for $ 7.50. You have a choice of BEEF, BISON, SAUSAGE, or TURKEY. I opted for one of each. I was ecstatic when I saw they had TATERTOTS! You can go for a cheeseburger(25 cents extra), but this being my first time there I wanted the purity of a plain burger; plus given the size of the burgers, you’d only be able to fit a piece of cheese about the size of a quarter. The patties themselves measure about 1.5 inches in diameter & ¼ of an inch thick, although they weren’t exactly round. They were shaped roughly in a round patty form and served on mini burger buns. I got my order to go and made the 5 minute walk to my place. The proprietor kindly noted that she had left the tater tots slightly open to prevent the steam from softening the tots. I snacked on a few tater tots during my walk and they were light & crispy without being greasy. They weren’t salted or anything, just plain and simple tater tots. I’d definitely get them again. All the burgers looked the same from the outside so I just grabbed one. I have to mention that all the burgers were really crispy(not crunchy) on the outside & soft on the outside. This is what leads me to believe they use a fryer. They also toast the mini buns so every bite is crispy heaven. First up was the ITALIANSAUSAGE. It was fairly salty with a hint of spiciness. Not bad, but again, what I really liked was the crispiness of the outside, along with the softness of the patty. Next was the BISON. I had some trouble identifying it at first since it didn’t really have a distinct flavor like I’ve had from other bison burgers. There was a fair amount of parsley mixed in with the bison. Overall I wasn’t too impressed. This was also the softest of the four burgers, most likely due to the parsley.(Bison meat is fairly lean so it makes for a denser meat). Next was the TURKEY. This one I really liked. Really crispy and tasty, not dry at all, although given its size, you’d have to try hard to overcook it. I have had mini burgers from other places though(NY Burger Co.) where the burgers were barely cooked or overcooked, so I have to give a nod to the chef; the burgers were cooked to perfection. Last was the BEEF burger. It was a basic hamburger. No seasoning involved, just plain beef, which isn’t a bad thing. I liked it. What really caught me about the burgers was their crispiness. The 5 minute walk back to my place in the covered tin did not reduce them to steaming mush patties. My definite favorite was the TURKEY, followed by the BEEF, then the SAUSAGE&BISON. I’m not a big meat eater, but I do love a good burger or steak from time to time. I’d definitely come back to this place. I came here on a Thursday night around 8pm and I was the only customer. I imagine it is busier a little later on a Thursday night or on weekends. I can imagine a six-pack of mini burgers and a beer as a perfect combination.
