if d&s around the corner were open on sunday, there would be no reason to ever go here. higher prices and staff that act like they’re doing you a favor.

How does a long hair get into a frozen turkey patty. Ordered a turkey burger… It was as good as a microwave could make it.

I have such a hard time with bad customer service! The women that cashier this place on Monday in the a. m are consistent in this one thing and it just sucks. I have been coming for years to buy flowers and constantly have to ask them to put the flowers in a bag along with my groceries that I buy. Today the cashier was in an exceptionally bad mood and asked me if I was sure 3 times. After the 2nd time she asked, I just got annoyed and looked at her and said… «YES, please!». She got an attitude, shared a look with her coworker at the desk who smiled at her in approval of her behavior. I was on the phone with a friend who had heard the entire thing. I told my friend that it was really funny that they behave this way and that I just don’t even know why I come here. It just sucks to have to start your day in an uncomfortable, passive altercation with a cashier over the way that your paid for groceries are bagged. If you hate your job, get a new one. Don’t treat your patrons like that.

Always enjoyed living in the neighborhood and Merci practices their namesake: Thankful you are there. Love their tuna, the fries are above average for a midtown eatery and they are willing to do exactly as you want. Pleasantly. I’ve been tempted to and will return for the buffet and maybe some grocery shopping because as I noted the prices for midtown are more than fair. Even a few indoor seats would be great.

Everybody is a critic… This place rocks — they have a huge selection, always open, employees are friendly. Also, this place is a legitimate florist as well. People be harsh — some stuff is overpriced, which is true — but if you want a deal you should’ve gone to the bodega near your place in Brooklyn first.

Been here for everything from a bottle of water, to a late night sandwich. It’s certainly overpriced, but not as egregious as other places in the area. Has a good selection of grocery type items, so they can certainly save you a trip to the store. Their sandwiches are disappointing. The chicken salad was basically all mayonnaise, and the chicken cutlet tends to be chewy and certainly underwhelming.

Cannot belive how RUDE the manager of this store is! He was screaming at my pregnant coworker and called her CRAZY multiple times for brining back bad cookies we just bought. There was dust on the bag and she thoght that maybe it was just because of where they were on the shelf in the store. She went to return them because they were crystalized, discolored and breaking apart. He yelled at her and asked her why she opened the bag if they were bad… WHAT?! He kept yelling at her saying she was crazy — like she’s looking to start a fight over a $ 6 bag of cookies. She brought them back to let him know they were bad and to get a replacement. She asked him to stop yelling at her and said he was embarrassing her — and he simply said she was embarrassing herself! There are over 200 people at our company and an email went out asking everyone to stop going there because of how she was treated. I cannot believe how rude the employees of this store are!

Place is bright and clean. Didn’t feel like going out for breakfast and wanted to sleep in instead so bought some yogurt and sliced fruit. Cashier was pet friendly. There’s a five dollar minimum for credit cards.

I want to say that this place is great because their selection is amazing, but i had two horrible experiences that will turn me away from this place permanently. First off on my first night in NYC I just wanted a quick snack because it was too late to do a formal dinner. I stopped by this place and saw the beautiful spread they had for the salad bar, I opted for the Mozzarella salad. I had a very small amount, but it was enough to give me a food poisoning from hell. I am talking throwing up out of both ends. Violent. I thought nothing of this and perhaps blamed it on my stomache. My friend continued to get lunch from this place one more time until he got into a verbal altercation with one of the sandwich cooks. Apparently a man with extremely thin eyebrows and overplumped lips got mouthy when my friend was trying to decide what to eat. On top of this incident as I am coming to write my review I find out that this place was renamed and that another Unilocaler also got food poisoning from this location. I am now going to contact the city of New York’s health department to report this place for their lack of safe food handling.

This place is clean and they have a hot and cold food buffet. I like this place because of their delicious salads. There’s an asian guy there who helped me once and he was pretty nice and amusing. I bought a bottle of wine from a place nearby and forgot to get the bottle corked so i went by this place and the asian guy corked it for me! Their delivery is speedy and their prices make sense for the area.
