Cute sake bar on the Upper East Side. A big fan of the fixtures and décor. The bar seats around 10 people but there are more tables in the back for small groups. I came during happy hour(5−7PM on Tues-Fri and all night on Mondays) and tried the Sake Flight. The sampling included Kitaya Junmai, Wakatake Junmai Daiginjo, and Ozeki Nigori. All three sakes I had were very smooth but my favorite had to be the unfiltered option — Ozeki Nigori. Next time will definitely try the small bites — they have a few buns on the menu. If sake is not your thing, they offer seasonal cocktails, beer, and wine as well. Great spot for a date or with a few friends!

Awesome new sake bar from Meijin Ramen next door. The bartenders were very helpful in describing the sake to a first timer and the $ 20 sake flight was a great way to enjoy a couple of their selections. They no longer serve ramen at the bar like they used to but there’s a new bar menu with interesting sounding small plates that I’ll definitely have to try next time.
