McDonald’s is a locally owned Irish burger joint that has recently started serving their popular breakfast options all day. Friendly staff make traditional Irish«meat and potatoes» cuisine hip and affordable. Their grandma’s apple pie is cheap and good, and they add the right amount of salt to their un-blighted french fries. The shamrock shake — a March staple of this local hotspot — reminds me of summer days by the coast in Erie.

This place makes the Burger King around the corner look like shake shack! Dark, grungy with the order of bathroom cleaner, the food is typical McDonald’s manufactured food like substance but given with indifference and neglect

I like the new cool looking menu and the employees seem friendly. The minor problem is the french fries. That red french fries container used to be filled to the brim with a little extra flowing into the bottom of the brown take-out bag. Now they barely fill up the red french fries container. I’ve been twice in the past week and they didn’t seem to give me a full order either time(disappointing). And the fries don’t taste as good. I don’t know why but I think it’s cause not enough salt(which I guess is good but not taste-wise).

The ice cream machine is always broken, and no one cares. It has been like that off and on for years, virtually every single night they just do not serve an entire category of food. I would think that someone would have figured this out by now. I don’t even eat at McDonald’s, I just stop by randomly to try to get ice cream and every time its happened I have been disappointed. Not a good addition to the neighborhood.

After 20 mins waiting still missing items even it’s not busy at all. Give the job opportunity to others who can treat it seriously.

I don’t know why Unilocal says it’s closed today. I was in there for the cheap coffee this AM. McDonalds Corp must ignore this busy location. They need to pull out the booths and put all tables and chairs. Preferably plastic! The seat covers in the booths are torn. I couldn’t find a stir for my coffee. You order in one line and wait for your order in another. I was waiting and saw my coffee sitting there getting cold so I just left my receipt and took it. It was crazy disorganized in there. They didn’t have this order and pick up arrangement last time I went to Micky D’s. Needless to say I’ll try another location next time. Their coffee is cheap but has a bitter taste. I just needed a inexpensive cup. This was the closest location. A small coffee ended up 88 cents. They must be having a sale! Also, this is a notorious homeless hang out. A man was in this AM that obviously had the right to service. Trouble is his smell filled the place. Plus he had three bags of belongings. I noticed people having trouble enjoying their breakfast. I truly am empathetic to both the diners and the homeless. I was thankful I could down my coffee and get out of there. Can you imagine what the bathroom looks like on a Sunday morning?

Just like the other McDonald’s. Fast food, fast service, u can get in and out in around 10 min to grab ur lunch. They accept card and cash, two floors of seating. What else u expect?

So it is late and I’m buzzed. Still though, I ordered two cheeseburgers and they«forgot» the meat on both of them. How does this happen? Why can’t I give this place zero stars. Terrible.

It’s 4am and I visit this 24hr location for a Big Mac fix. When placing the order I was informed«we don’t have fries» seriously Ronald?

They claim to be 24 hours, but close from 4 – 4:30AM, right when the bars close and you want McDonalds.

Ugh, everything that terrifies me of going outside into the New York streets can be found at this mcdonalds, but sometimes I just reallllly need a reliable & consistent taste of a mcdouble. Creepy people lurking here, crazy confusion at the counter, gross smells, vomit on the floor. Yes, last time I was here there was vomit on the floor & I alerted the worker at the counter. He said«oh probably one of our drunk customers» as if it was nothing and said he’d tell someone to clean it up. I would think that if there is something that sick right in your entrance that it would be a priority to get it cleaned up asap, but when I went to leave 15 minutes later, I still had to attempt to step over it.

If I could give a negative star, I would. How is it possible for a 24 hour McDonald’s not to have what I need. «We don’t have milkshakes» is not an acceptable response to an order. Yes, it’s 2:30am, judge me.

For my 200th Unilocal review, I give you McDonald’s. This is a McDonald’s. It is like every other McDonald’s I have ever been to in my entire life. Nothing special except that its really big inside. The french fries and Big Macs taste surprisingly exactly like every other McDonald’s Big Mac and French Fries I have ever had. I would have to imagine the rest of the food tastes like McDonald’s as well. Ronald McDonald would be proud.

Unfortunately, I witnessed a staff member reach into the post prepped Chicken Nugget drawer with her bare hand and then watch her eat(2) Nuggets. Gross me out! I informed the Mgr on duty about cross contamination. The same staff member had just taken cash and didn’t wash her hands and was not wearing latex gloves.

I love that this location is open 24⁄7. It’s convenient when you have been out all night and all you want is something to eat. I appreciate the workers who work here and have to put up with drunk idiots on weekends. However, it is a terrible idea to have 1 person running the show in the front at 3am on a Saturday morning. For his/her safety, please have a couple of guys in the front to look out for each other. The speed after hours are definitely slow, but i get it, 1 person running the show. But you know what, Mcd is consistent, you know you’ll never have a bad burger! The good thing about this location, fancy/modern décor(upstairs especially) and the have the new/fancy fountain drink machine!

I have been here a few times to this location and I have to admit the oatmeal here is not that bad. I was thinking I was going to have to add some milk to it or something like it would be 100% flavorless. Sometimes the lines are really slow but that happens at almost all McDonalds places. –The new drink they have CHERRYBERRYCHILLER is pretty good though, I am not gonna lie. It has hit the spot for me a few times this summer already. I still have not brought one home and put some vodka in it yet though.

Dude, how high-tech is this Mickey D’s? It’s crazy. Touch screen soda machines? Is it really necessary? Besides, I only come here for yogurt parfaits and/or oatmeal– which both are surprisingly great! And beats any other place’s price– as much as I hate to admit. Service isn’t great. Once waited WAYTOOLONG for oatmeal simply because their hot-water faucet at the front wasn’t working properly and instead of the cashier relaying that information to us(because that would make too much sense) she told us after the matter. Sh%t like that reminds you of YEP– you’re in McDonald’s. I don’t eat their other options. Can’t comment on it. I do suggest you try the oatmeal and yogurt though.

Of course it’s fast service, but I’ll admit sometimes I wish the cashier would look me in the eye when handing me my food, say thank you or at least acknowledge that I’m a customer.
