First time visit for physical. No wait, efficient and seems to be well organized. Friendly all the way and thorough. received bloodwork by email one day after appointment. Seamless. Will definitely go back.

I was looking for a new doctor, since I had so much problems with the other office. There seems a bit negative experience from last reviewer. I was a bit worried because I had bad experience with other doctor’s office and I thought it might be the similar situation. Well I already made annual checkup appointment and I thought I’d give it a try. They need your credit card for authorization. I did the same thing with other office as well. I thought it is just regular procedure. My first impression, receptionists are very friendly and they tried to communicate with me. Because I tried to make sure my insurance works for this visiting, one person sent me an email that she contacted my insurance company and she got confirmed that my insurance policy works with their office. Doctor is not quite as friendly as some car sales person, but he seems having quiet, introvert personality. I had to bring myself more actively talking about things I need to addressed. Doctor was very good listener, he answered me in his honest way. He walked out couple times to see my chart. I felt he checked all things thoroughly. I got out of the office with satisfaction and earlier than I experienced from other office.

RUNFORYOURLIFE!!! In all my years living in NYC as well as having traveled the world have I ever met such a blatantly corrupt Medical Office. He is a criminal and INSISTS you put a Credit Card on file. Hmm what? Why? I can pay how I choose to pay at the END of my visit not beforehand! To start I arrived early as any NEW patient should to fill out paperwork. Now Ive been very happy with my primary care doctor for more than 15 years and now President Obama’s Affordable Healthcare Act has made a mockery for real doctors to practice and make a living. So along with hundreds of thousands of Americans I am forced to pick a Primary Care Doctor according to the plan Ive chosen that’s affordable, so I stayed with Empire Blue Cross Blue Shield. Oh and If I don’t I get a penalty on my annual Tax Return for not having had chosen an insurance provider. Imagine my joy when I found this Dr Malachovsky was located in midtown Manhattan. Upon entering the less than 400 square foot«Office»;(Ive seen Food Trucks larger), at 90 degrees Fahrenheit. I had asked if they can possibly open the door as it was literally intolerable to be there for even one minute in that heat. So one of the 3 «staff» propped open the door with the Metal Medical Containers that were awaiting the Labs to pick up blood and urine specimens. Already that was odd but OK. I’m working on being FLEXIBLE. Next, I’m asked to fill in all my information on their computer as though I’m the secretary. OK I can be flexible and modern and sit on a Bar Stool to fill this out 3 part form… Sure no problem. But then I am asked after a range of bizarre questions on the questionnaire including sexual preferences, am i content with my sex life, etc. I thought this was odd for a regular general practitioner to be asking me about my sex life. Next… I am asked for my Credit Card. I say«What?, I haven’t even seen the doctor yet and this is my FREE annual check up and not even a co-pay required according to my Insurance and the Affordable Health Care Act». «You already have a photocopy of my Insurance Card, why do you need my Credit Card»? Now they were all acting nervous which I also found odd, because if this was legitimate there should be no problems. Then Dr. Malachovsky steps in and says irritated: «Didnt you get our office email containing our Office Policy»? I reply«No I didn’t receive anything, I made this appointment two weeks ago by phone with your assistant». So he says in a rude tone as though I’m being dishonest, «Oh really»…and marches to his computer pulls up a copy of the the email they sent me WHICHWASNOTMYEMAIL(of course I save this document for the Insurance Company) stating: «if you cancel there is a $ 20 dollar fee, if you do show up that you must provide a valid Credit Card» BEFORE seeing the doctor. I’m sorry, this is still the United States of America last I checked and Cash or Check or Credit Card is MY choice not my NEW doctor. Then when I refused to give my credit card this day but agree to when I have any additional or follow up appointment; one that is not FREE and NO Co-pay required per calender year. He refused to see me without my credit card information beforehand. I left saying how odd this was and to kindly show me that they deleted all my personal data from the computer(which frankly I’m not 100% certain was done). As I exit and headed to the elevator they mistakenly did not close the door behind me that was open to the entire hallway. They(3 staff plus the doctor) bantered loudly on about me with the DOORWIDEOPEN. I think that in itself is cause for alarm discussing a Patient with the door open? What will HIPPA say when I notify them on Monday morning? Others standing in the hallway with me were appalled and felt embarrassed as well. So after say 5 minutes of hearing them Defame me, well I had to step back over to the open door while remaining in the hallway. I stood there, crossed my arms and waited until someone noticed me there listening to the barrage of nasty, inappropriate, unprofessional comments spewing from this SOCALLEDDOCTOR who i can almost guess and will check that his credentials are FALSE. Finally Dr. Malachovsky turned and spotted me. I said«Very nice, Very Professional, you can be sure I will be notifying the Medical Community about your Malevolence». Have a Nice weekend and exited. This was a 3 ringed circus Ringling Brothers & Barnum Bailey level. If you want a real doctor go to the ones not taking Insurance because those are the valid real ones. And maybe WE the patient should have a policy too that we send out before going to a doctor, that we charge a $ 20 fee if they choose to to unprofessional, rude, late, send emails to the patients wrong email address confirming the appointment etc. Still in Shock
