Manley’s offers a great selection of wines in the every-​day, affordable category, yet they taste like they cost so much more. And because of our temperature-​controlled cellar, we also have a fine selection of those higher-​end wines, Champagnes and spirits, for special occasions and gifts. You may even find a few collector’s items and rare, older vintages that have been ideally stored. There is also a full selection of spirits, but are sorry, because of NYS law, we do not sell Beer.

History

Established in 1934.

To this day, the store is family-​owned and operated. Opened by ower’s Father and Uncle John Manley after repeal of Prohibition, Manley’s has grown into more than a neighborhood jewel. With a temperature/​humidity controlled cellar, customers are assured of the quality of their wines. The staff is friendly and well-​trained; wine and liquor selections are are all hand-​picked and taste tested.

Ken’s father and Uncle John Manley opened Manley’s in 1934 after the repeal of Prohibition. Ken began working in the store after school as a delivery boy and finally took control in the 1960’s after serving in the Navy. Stationed in Moffet Field, CA, he picked up knowledge of California wines and introduced them to the store. Through the years, Ken has changed what used to be a small local liquor store to the fine wine shop it is today. You will now find amazing wines from all over the world as well as the very best that our own wine regions in the United States have to offer.

Ken and Carole frequently travel to the areas where these wonderful wines are produced to seek out the very best for Manley’s customers.
