From transporting all the paraphernalia after our wedding back to our apt, to moving out of our apt, to supervising a cross country move to receiving boxes and delivering it to us — Inal Turunc the owner is polite, respectful, reliable, trust worthy and very reasonable in what he charges for the job. I would highly recommend Man With Van NYC. Out of every moving service we have used over the last ten years in New York this one is by far the BEST. They have handled for us everything from receiving packages via FedEx while we are out of town and storing and then delivering them to us, to simple moves of new purchases, to supervising large moves cross country or the transport of one apt to another. Inal the owner is polite respectful and professional. He also happens to be a damn nice person. His fees are more than fairly competitive — especially if trust and reputability is a factor for you as it is for us. Then MAN WITH VAN NYC is def your best choice.

I found a couch on Craigslist that was about 20 blocks from my apt. They wanted $ 200 to move it even when there were elevators. I paid less than that for the couch. I could buy a new couch for the total price. No thanks.

I’ve used Man With Van NYC twice in the past year and both times have been stellar. The first was when I was moving into my new place– I was quoted a cheaper price because of elevator-to-elevator moving but when we got to my new place, the elevator was broken. That being said, Inal was amazing enough to CARRY all my boxes and furniture up 6 flights of stairs and was a very good sport about the terrible turn of events. I was so impressed that when I picked up some furniture from a craigslist sale, I called Inal again, this time on incredibly short notice– and again he was able to accommodate.
I like that Man With Van quotes you a total price for moving– unlike people who will tell you the hourly charge (whatever you estimate it may be, trust me, it always ends up being about $ 150 more than you anticipated). The service is prompt and professional. I would recommend in a heart beat.
