Main Event is a full-service event-planning company, in business for almost twenty years, and specializing in memorable corporate events. I can help you find unique venues, top shelf caterers, talented florists, and the best entertainment to make your event a Main Event. Over the years, I have coordinated hundreds of events, ranging from 15 guests to 10,000. I have maximized small budgets and negotiated to come under larger budgets. Guests leave my events feeling special, well-fed, entertained and happy.
History
Established in 1996.
After working at the best party-planning company in Los Angeles, my husband and I were relocated to Connecticut. Not finding any event companies there, I started my own. My first client was «Shakespeare on the Sound» (Rowayton) and for their inaugural year I coordinated their fundraising cocktail parties, served as their marketing director and edited the playbill. When my husband was relocated to Manhattan, I reestablished myself here, working on events for Canon, the Billboard Music Awards, and AMC. My successful endeavors with AMC led to more work with other cable channels, including Court TV (now TruTV), We, Sundance, IFC, HGTV and the Outdoor Channel.

As CEO (Chief Entertainment Officer) of The Main Event, I work hard to make sure each event I coordinate carries my unique brand. I sometimes work 24⁄7 to make sure every detail is planned, including the all-important Plan B. I personally go on site inspections, meet with clients, and am on site for event day set-up, management and clean-up. I write all the proposals and compile all the budgets for each event.
