Maid To Tidy

Let me preface this review with, If I could give 0 starts to Maid to Tidy I would. I have had two experiences, both of which were horrible.
I had scheduled my first cleaning at 8am on a Saturday. They ask that you give them a one hour grace period to get to the apartment so I patiently waited around between 8 – 9 with no cleaning professional in sight and decided to check my email. They had sent an email at 1am cancelling the appointment. Considering I was partially to blame for not checking my email (even though there was little I could have even done to reschedule between the hours of 1am and 8am) I called up to reschedule the appointment the next day and got a cleaning later in the week. The cleaning was mediocre but after some bad experiences with other cleaning services, I was just happy we could get someone there.
I assumed that maybe that first time was a fluke and attempted to book a second cleaning. This time I learned my lesson and checked my email prior to the appointment (no cancellation email!) and then proceeded to wait for the cleaning professional for 2+hours. I called the number they had provided of the cleaning professional (no answer, shocking) and also sent 3+ emails to the customer service email. It has been over two weeks and it has been crickets on Maid to Tidys end.
Classic case of fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. I will never (attempt to) use this service again and I highly encourage any one else not to waste their time.

If I could give one star I would.
Booked my appointment 2 days in advance for 9AM on a Friday. At 11:30pm on Thursday I got an email stating that the cleaner had cancelled and that they did not have a replacement, but would work with me to reschedule. I replied with alternate times immediately.
The next morning no response. I emailed, attempted to contact through their online chat and customer service issue submission form — no response. Attempted to call the phone number on the website — which was never provided in the confirmation emails. Phone no longer in service. Emailed again — nothing.
This was my first attempt at booking with Maid To Tidy. Never again. In the service industry communication is critical. Maid To Tidy doesn’t seem to have this mastered.

I haven’t cleaned my place for two months because of busy season. So, I decided to Unilocal for a maid service. I was willing to try out a new start-​up service with not many reviews to see how it is. And, I made a great decision with this one.
I made an appointment with Maid To Tidy for their 3 bedrooms service because I lived in a 2 bed/​1 bath apartment with a roommate. So we just chipped in to have the common areas and the kitchen and bathroom cleaned.
They did a wonderful job. Spotless. I am actually a clean freak, so I approve. The maids are very professional. They knew how to time efficiently clean out the floor and corners with their tools. They are also very friendly because they would ask anything else to be cleaned after they are done.
Their pricing is on par with other cleaning services I’ve checked on Unilocal.So, I am going to keep asking for their service.

A friend referred me to Maid To Tidy. This was the first time I’ve used a cleaning service. Booked it on my way to work.
I live in a one bedroom apartment that took roughly 2 hours to clean. I checked under the bed to see if they missed anything, they didn’t. To my surprise Vanity and Victor were thorough.
Overall I think it was worth it.
