Little Tony & Igor be Good Barbers

A great haircut from this place. Just a tad pricey but worth it for the professionalism. After it was over I told the barber I wanted a little more off the top and he changed it exactly how I wanted. I think he rushed a little at the end though. I would have also preferred if he had asked me if I wanted gel like most other barbers because I also had to request for that.

I walked over to the Theater District Little Tony and Igor be Good Barbers today and was shocked to walk in and be told they «don’t do women’s hair». I’m a girl with a pixie cut and I appreciate that not all barber shops cut women’s hair, which is why I checked the website before I went and thought that «The salon provides superior hair care and hair styling services for women and men» meant a girl would be able to get her hair trimmed up on the back and sides. The website also lists Women’s Haircuts under services so I’m honestly incredibly confused. When I asked the man in the shop why the website says they cut womens hair if they don’t he just repeated «we don’t do women’s hair. If they remove from the website that they cut women’s hair I’ll gladly remove the review.

Walked in off the street and was lucky to get Rigo! My hair is tricky to cut but he knew exactly how to do it! Took his time, very pleasant demeanor and really made sure I liked it! One week later i’m still getting compliments! Wish I wasn’t 3000 miles away!

Rigo cut my hair and trimmed my beard today. Very friendly and did an excellent job! I highly recommend a visit!

Igor is a master! I lost track of him for eight years and rediscovered him at his current location. I’m finally getting amazing haircuts again.

Excellent haircut and shave. Igor really takes his time with each customer and gives extra attention to detail. They also offered me a glass of whiskey to boot. Overall, my favorite barbershop in the city. For a smart, handsome cut with no frills, Igor is your man. Forgot to mention, the warm lather for the back of your neck/​razor shave is a really nice touch.

LOVE this place! Found it earlier this year and have been back 4 times. Alex cuts my hair and he is very friendly, does EXACTLY what I want, and takes his time to ensure a precision haircut. I have never been disappointed upon leaving the shop. As long as they’re there, that’s where I’m getting my hair cut. Treat yourself and try this place out. I doubt you’ll be disappointed.

For $ 35 bucks I should of had an awesome haircut (It wasn’t) as well as a full scissor cut.
I was pressed for time and I walked by this new place last month. I took a card and made an appointment. When I got there, the joint wasn’t full at all. There was one customer with no wait. Hey, always be prepared is what my mamma always said.
I sit in the the chair and I’m asked how I’d like my cut. I tell the barber and off we go.
He takes out the damn thinning scissors! If you don’t know what that is, its something that will make my thick Greek/​Italian hair frizz in the hot sun. No Bueno!
He starts going to town on my hair: Thinning Scissors, BUZZER, regular scissor and of course the razor for the back of my neck.
My uncle was a barber. For $ 35 bucks that’s a lotta tools to use. I expected a scissor cut but I was in a damn rush. A good cut doesn’t use all these tools.
All said and done, Its been a week and my Doo is looking not too shabby. I give them three Unilocal stars today.

This guy is a monster. Made a disaster, didn’t even listen to what I needed. Grabbed the machine and did whatever he wanted to do.

Great place. Service oriented, mature, professional, something to sip on the way in, warm shaving cream shave on the neckline, massage. This is one location of the Little Tony and Igor which has been in New York for decades.

I stumbled on this place on my walk from the office to home, and I couldn’t be more thrilled to now call it my go-​to barbershop. There are several affordable old school barbershops in the Hell’s Kitchen area but none like this. The attention to detail is evident from the minute you step in. The décor is beautiful antique style, the kind you saw in movies of old barbershops in New York City. The attention to detail follows you as you sit into the beautiful chairs and put your scalp in the reliable hands of Igor and Tony. The cut is exactly what you asked for (or better in my case), with extra trimmings of precision cutting, warm shaving foam, an incredibly scented hot towel and a relaxing shoulder massage. Worth every penny of the *very* affordable price. We need to keep quality establishments like this in the neighborhood, they are in rare supply. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Do not usually write reviews, but given there is a dearth of good barber shops in the midtown west area, thought this would be helpful to you guys
Great barber shop with a classic theme to it all with a warm razor shave to finish the back of the neck area and a old school shoulder massage to finish.
You can have a shot of some top shelf stuff (Black label, Herrudura) while you wait, great attention to detail and top service from Alex and Igor. Will definitely be going back.

Outstanding quality and service. Excellent new addition to the neighborhood. Very friendly and meticulous. Great atmosphere.
