The man that massaged me couldn’t speak English, and had no intention of touching my body. If I didn’t say something I think the whole massage would have been through a towel, and only rubbing my back. I expected better. I left feeling upset. My advice is clearly communicate what you want BEFORE he/​she starts to work on you, and make sure they understand. Smiling and nodding doesn’t always mean, «Yes, I fully understand.»

Amazing! Helen put the right amount of pressure to get all the kinks out of my tense right shoulder and lower back. I have chronic lower back pain from sitting for long hours in front of the computer but Helen made it feel so much better. Definitely will be coming back.
Really great bargain for the quality too. Very attentive constantly checking if I am OK.

Fantastic place close to flatiron and perfect after a brunch or workout nearby. The service is amazing and very accomodating with walk ins, shorter times, and requests. They offer 30 min up to 1 massages, and all the works. We got two masseuses right away for 30min and they threw in an extra 5 minutes for free. The masseuse I had was very friendly and skilled in feeling for my stress points and kneading them out. She managed to put just enough strength and pressure on the knots while also creating an enjoyable, relaxing experience for the rest of the full body massage. Definitely recommend!

Excellent go to spa for aches and pains and bodywork. I ve been coming here for about a year and they fix me up well and are so polite. Additionally, the facility is very clean. I highly recommend. Great prices too!

Went here during lunch for a massage. I decided to do the 1 hour massage. The space is intimate and quiet. Initially I didn’t know what to expect but 10 minutes into the massage I felt relaxed. The woman doing my massage was attentive and took her time to massage each section. I think the highlight was the natural feel. It was unrushed and calming. The unrushed feeling is big for me so it worked out well. The prices were great and the people kind so I may be incorporating Spa time here into my regular schedule.

Excellent massage in a clean, professional place. My massage therapist Helen was amazing and very professional and skilled. She utilized acupressure, shiatsu and a little Swedish massage techniques. I would highly recommend this great neighborhood spa!

Been to MANY massage places in the area and his is without a doubt the best choice. Helen is very talented at the acupuncture pressure points and I left with my sinus pressure completed relieved and feeling refreshed. Definitely will come back!

Not a typical massage place in Chelsea/​Flatiron, it is as if you are transported instantly into Chinatown. It seems to be run by a young couple, both strong masseurs, once I heard their baby cooing in the back room. No appointment needed, just stop by!
It all goes together, the very basic interiors, lack of pretense, and excellent, intuitive massage for a fraction of the usual cost. A bargain.

I have gone to some of the nicest spas in the world but Lucky Lisa has one of the best massages I have ever received !!! Amazing pressure and gets out all the spots. Not the fanciest of spots but definitely recommend for when you need an incredible truly deep tissues massage ! And of course it’s a steal ! Check it out :)
