We had a negative experience with this restaurant. We ordered via Seamless at 8pm on a Friday evening and called at 9:12pm to follow up. By 10pm we had called three times, each time being told the food was on the way. Later, we called Seamless to cancel the order. Seamless conducted a three-​way call with the restaurant who insisted the food had been delivered, though it had not been. Finally, Seamless returned our payment but not without significant time and effort on our part.

I wish I could have given this ZERO star, but Unilocal only allows to write a review if you give a star even if it is one. Let’s just say if you want to try Thai food don’t go to this place at all or you will think that they are all like this! We had the worst experience ever in any restaurant ever, including Thai, last evening! Service was horrible!!! The food is over priced for the amount and quality, this would be a great place for Restaurant Impossible for sure! We should never have tried this place and listened to some of the posts on Unilocal!The place is poorly lit and now I think I know why… they don’t want you to see the bad food they present you, then one of the waiters literally sneezed without covering his mouth, and loud, when we were at our table. We had hoped he was not to serve us but our luck had it… it was him!!! He should not have been at work since he looked so out of it already, like he was high on medication or something, then one of the dishes with duck came to our table raw and cold! When we told him, he didn’t even care and just took it away, as if to punish us that dish didn’t return for almost half an hour! The other dishes we ordered came with more sauce or soupiness than substance. For main courses over $ 15 each the dishes came in like dessert sizes and the rice was literally ½ cup amount. The waiter continued to sneeze aloud and didn’t return to our table at all or sent anyone else to see how we were doing the entire meal! So all I can say to anyone who has interest of Thai food to STAY AWAY!!! Never assume this place is true Thai dining!

I personally didn’t find that the service was quite as bad as others on here found it. It wasn’t stellar, but my party of 14 or so was served in a timely manner.
Unfortunately though I found the green curry to be too spicy in a not-​so-​appealing way in that it masked the other flavors in the curry. It may just be my personal opinion but I much prefer not to have too much jalapeño in Asian dishes. Additionally, the portion was slightly small for the price.

Ordered the green curry with beef, little bit spicy, but very delicious, especially the taste of the coconut, which really makes the dish better in taste.
One big short coming, they give not enough rice, far less from enough, even if they gave me twice that amount, still not enough…

Horrible! That’s the only word that can describe this experience! Empty and still had to wait forever to get our drinks and food. Overpriced for tiny portions and tiny sake that was called «Large»! Tiny rice — extra $ 2, tiny peanut sauce, we had to beg for, and were charged $ 2 each!!! Who charges extra for peanut sauce in Thai restaurant? And I could forgive that if the food was good, but it was not and it didn’t even taste like Thai food! Scallops were under cooked and shrimp overcooked. In this city you can find excellent choices for authentic Thai. Do not go here!

The poor reviews are right unfortunately. I was in a time crunch to see a show so I thought I could get a quick standard thai restaurant but it was far below my expectations.
The restaurant was 80% empty when I arrived at 6:45pm last night and still the service (4 waitstaff) were too busy chatting and staring at the wall to give us service.
The food was BAD. I had a standard pad thai thinking it’d be safe and it was so salty, but not by salt, probably with some cheap soy/​fish sauce product that take out places use by the vat. Mushy, the tofu was really dry, spring rolls were still cold on the inside. Even the great jazz musicians can’t save this place.
Do not waste your money, I should’ve just grabbed some gray’s papaya and admitted defeat.

The Pad Thai was pretty good, and the service not bad. The good part about it is the price, which was very reasonable.

Kow Pad Sabparos with thai iced tea is delish! Fast delivery.

Very small lunch portions (with no soup, etc.) Was charged extra for essentially extra tablespoon dollop of rice, because I was still hungry. Prices on menu were also misleading, and the wait staff was unapologetic about it. Won’t be returning here for subpar, overpriced food.

Decently priced thai food in the neighborhood– nothing in particular stood out. Ordered the chicken pad thai which was good.

It is a nice restaurant on the west side. The food was very good and I enjoyed the fried rice with chicken and vegetables. The downside to this place was that we waited awhile for even water to be brought to the table (probably about 10 – 15 min) and it was not very busy. If you do not mind the wait on service, the food was good and has the basic thai menu that you can find at most places.

Why are reviews so low for this place? I order delivery from them twice a week (their amazingly priced lunch specials!) and think it’s some of the best Thai food I’ve had in the U.S. The pad thai and pad see ew are some of the best I’ve had ever and so cheap! I also like the Ginger Sautee.
Maybe they got a new chef in the last 4 or 5 months since i discovered this place. Because these bad reviews are not true at all any more!

Compared to other thai places on the west side, this place is 4 stars. Compared to places downtown, 3 stars, but for where it’s at, I’ll keep it at 4.
The wait staff here is very kind and super attentive. They are constantly refilling your water and making sure you don’t need anything else. The food comes out pretty quickly too. Also, they are really great about informing you what you can eat if you have a fish/​seafood allergy, and there are actually a lot of options which is great.
I’ve had both the Pad Thai and the Pad See Ew from here and they were both fantastic. Excellent portions and a good meat-​veggie ratio. Everything was mixed together well and served with lime for extra flavor.
I’ve never ordered drinks here but they seem reasonably priced if not cheap, especially during Happy Hour. Perfect choice for affordable dining near the 72^nd metro station where things can get pricey fast.

Came here for lunch after a stop at the Lincoln Square Apple Store. We got in at around lunch time on a Sunday but the place was completely empty which made me start to wonder if we had made the right choice.
As everyone had mentioned, the free fried shrimp chips and peanut sauce appetizers were very welcoming. My mom used to make them for me when I was younger. So that alone, although w much bias, immediately reassured me of the restaurant.
I got the chicken spicy basil noodles and Thai iced tea. The tea was $ 3, kind of pricy for the portion but the perfect combination of cream and tea! I asked for extra spicy for the noodles and was thankful that I had my tea to help me when I tried to quit on the dish.
I assumed the spicy noodles to be broad noodles like what you would normally expect when you order drunken noodles but they were thin pad Thai noodles. They gave me generous amounts of chicken, basil, hot Thai peppers, and bean sprouts for the price of just $ 8! The taste isn’t particularly something to rave about — very standard Thai food. But I was very happy for the price

I thought the food was a little too sweet, but otherwise tasty. The free shrimp chips were a nice touch. Love those…
The meat/​fish portions are ridiculously small: my beef red curry had hardly any beef. My tom kha soup had one sad lonely shrimp in the whole soup, all by its lonesome. You really had to dig around to find beef in my wife’s noodle dish.
But what trumps all this is my wife fell quite seriously ill eating food from this restaurant.
We had dinner at 10pm. In the morning I woke up at around 9:30am to the sound of my wife violently vomiting in the bathroom so badly that her whole body was shaking.
She repeatedly vomited, had diarrhea, body aches, nausea, body tremors, weakness, and joint pain (*) for nearly the whole day. I was so scared for her.
It’s now 4:30pm as I write this, and she’s just now feeling strong enough to eat some bread and drink water from bed.
I know this can happen in any restaurant, but we had ordered over $ 60 worth of food only for my wife to have the most agonizing day in her life since giving birth (and at least she got some morphine and a baby out of that one!) And you should know that my wife is a strong woman with high tolerance for feeling crappy. She’s not a girl that gets knocked out by small things. Whatever this was, it must have been bad-​ass to take my wife down like this.
Never again.
(*) When I was Googling to figure out if I should take her to the ER I read that joint pain can be a symptom of non-​botulism food poisoning. Never knew that.

We were in NYC and in the area so we stopped in here in a whim. We were seated immediately and the server came over quickly. I ordered the Curray Puffs and the Massuman Curry. My girlfriend ordered the Spring rolls and the Pad Thai. I ordered a soda and my girlfriend asked for water and the drinks never came until our starters came out and I had to remind the server for the drinks. My Curry Puffs and the Spring Rolls were pretty tasty, but the Main dishes were not great at all. My Massuman gravy was mostly flavorless and the chicken was pretty dry. My girlfriend asked for her Pad Thai to be very spicy and she said it was way under flavored. She asked the server for a hot sauce on the side so she could adjust it herself and it did nothing to improve the taste. We never saw the server again until I flagged her down and asked for the check. No second drink or anything. Bottom line, the food wasnt great and on this particular day, neither was the service. Even if in the area again, I wouldn’t go back.

Food was okay, drinks were good, friendly staff, and free jazz band! Fun!

Oh Lime Leaf, you’re so lucky you aren’t in Hell’s Kitchen.
With the prices you charge relative to the portions you serve, you wouldn’t last very long against some real Thai competition in that part of town. But since you’re on the UWS, where good food seems to always be in short supply — I guess you’ll do just fine for people who are craving Thai but don’t want to schlep downtown.
Personally, I think it’s worth the schlep than to eat here, not because the food is particularly awful (it’s not) — but you just don’t get much bang for your buck.
After a quick dinner here — i wasn’t exactly happy to see that you’re literally paying nearly a dollar a for each bite of tiny fried tofu appetizers. They also tasted mediocre, which made the small portions feel even more diminished.
As for the main meal — I had the beef prad kra pow — which was a stir fried basil dish. For $ 13 bucks, the amount of food you get is fine if you don’t come here with a semblance of an appetite. Couple the small servings with a small bowl of rice, and you get a dinner that really fill you up. The taste of the actual dish was fine — it was nothing different than what you get from ok places in HK like Yum Yum. But again, unless you’re not super hungry coming here, you’re better off just going downtown and visiting some other places like ViV, Breeze or the countless other Thai places that give you more for your money.
My only suggestion would be to provide a bit more bang for the buck for some dishes and this should help improve the customer experience.
Otherwise you’ll end up like me and walk over to Cold Stone where I had the luxury of having (plenty of) room for dessert.

My friend and I were wandering around the UWS when we happily ran into Lime Leaf. Looking for our hunger fix, we both concluded that Thai food would do. We were expecting a pretty casual venue but were shocked to see that the inside was indeed pretty fancy and dare I say romantic? When we sat down I think we were the only «non-​couple/​just friends» in the entire place. We had a few good laughs over that one.
Their menu is simple and included all the favorites of Thai cuisine. They bring out what I thought I heard was «shrimp crisps». It looked like puffy rice cakes* and they served it with peanut sauce. Interesting, very interesting. That night I was feeling the crowd favorite– the Pad Thai with chicken. It was good. Flavorful and a nice portion for the reasonable price of $ 12. I also ordered the Thai Peanut Salad which was a refreshing element. I’m a big fan of peanut dressing and they even added some fried tofu which was a nice surprise. Crisp and a good textural piece to my meal.
–Funny side note:
The whole time we admitted that it was a very relaxing atmosphere. Low lighting and soothing music definitely helped. As we were walking out we saw that the music was actually coming from a live band! Who knew?! We were so far back into the place that we completely overlooked this. I have to say… I thought it was a CD playing. They were that good. I’ve never been to a Thai restaurant with live (almost coffee shop styled) music!
*When I ate them, all I could think about was Rice Krispies. You hear that snap, crackle, pop!

Used to come here/​order delivery from here all the time; i.e. 4 – 5 times a week. Not sure if they got a new cook or something, but the food quality has gone down. I used to absolutely love their Pad Thai, but the last time I ordered it … it was just absolutely terrible. After one bite, it went straight into the trash. I also loved their Shrimp Chips, which is saying a lot since I can easily make my own at home, but recently they’ve been coming stale; so either the oil wasn’t hot enough or they’re serving me old chips.
The only thing that I’ve always ordered from here that is still delicious is their Papaya Salad and Thai Iced Tea. For now, this is all I will order. Can’t keep wasting money on inedible food =\.
