History

Established in 2013.

Dr. Manuel I. Lopez was a psychiatrist educated in the US specialized in adults, teenagers, and children. He taught many generations of psychiatrists and psychotherapists. Now, with life coaching and parenting training, at very reasonable fees, he helps without having to deal with insurance red tape.

He uses in-​depth-​psychology to 1) detect specific out-​of-​awareness problematic patterns, 2) develop tools to avoid these patterns from getting in the way of goals, and 3) find specific strategies to reach the goals.

His practice in Barcelona was mostly comprised of the expat American community.

Two years ago, Dr. Lopez decided to move back to the US, where the rest of his family lives.

Dr. Manuel I. Lopez has published more than 150 papers in scientific journals and 10 chapters in professional books.

Fellow of the American College of Psychiatrists and member of the American Psychiatric Association and of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.

Studied Psychiatry in Philadelphia, and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the Medical College of Pennsylvania. Founding director of the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Subspecialty School at UNAM, in Mexico, for 25 years.

Psychoanalyst and child and adolescent psychoanalyst from the Philadelphia, New Orleans, and the Mexican Psychoanalytic Institutes.

Certified by the International Psychoanalytical Association to train psychoanalysts and child and adolescent psychoanalysts.

PhD and researcher in Bioethics at the Anahuac University in Mexico City.

Currently, his business is exclusively as a life and parenting coach.
