Business Owner

Barbie D. Lieber is head of the Firm’s Bankruptcy and Creditor & Debtor Rights and Collections practice and Commercial Litigation practice, and co-​head of the Firm’s Real Estate practice. She began her career as a judicial law clerk to the Hon. Cornelius J. Blackshear of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York. She was previously associated with Tenzer Greenblatt LLP, Luskin Stern & Eisler and White & Case LLP. Ms. Lieber received her undergraduate degree from SUNY Stony Brook (B.S., 1984, Magna Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society) and her law degree from SUNY Buffalo, (J.D., 1987, with honors). Ms. Lieber is a member of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York and the American Bankruptcy Institute.

Bruce J. Lieber is head of the Firm’s Corporate/​Business practice and co-​head of the Real Estate and Employment/​Benefits practices. He was previously Counsel to Dechert LLP
