Dr. Michael E. Jones is an honors graduate of Columbia University’s College of Physicians and Surgeons and an actively practicing cosmetic and reconstructive surgeon Board Certified by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology-​Head and Neck Surgery. Dr. Jones is also a fellow of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery and the Founder and Director of Lexington Plastic Surgeons (www​.lex​ing​ton​plas​tic​sur​geons​.com) with a flagship office located at the unique House of Beauty in New York City, as well as additional surgical offices in Newark, NJ, the metropolitan Washington, DC area and Los Angeles, CA.

Really wanted this to work out as I believed there are talented surgeons here. Unfortunately, the disorganization of the practice has turned my decision away from proceeding.
First off, I was given a hard time about seeing the Dr. to discuss my procedure. I was told I had to book my surgery before seeing the Dr. Are you kidding me? Why would I book without speaking to the person who would perform the surgery? I had to put my foot down strongly and explain that I am not booking a surgery based on an evaluation of a coordinator. The Dr was quite knowledgeable, as expected, and there was followup information that was supposed to get to me so I could get final pricing and finalize booking.
Six weeks and 3 followup calls later, no info. Every time I called was a mystery of what needed to happen. Why should a potential patient have to go through so much for basic operational followups? This is not a good sign and gives me doubt that I would be treated well after surgery. What if post op something goes wrong or if I have a question? Would they even know I was a patient?

Best Doctors and professional staff. When I came in through the doors of this practice I felt welcome and validated as a patient. My consultant was professional, and very informative. I feel confident I will have my procedure done here.

*BEWARE*
I seeked treatment here for a keloid removal located in the BACK of my right ear. The «consultant» was very sweet and convincing so I decided to accept the procedure and provided my insurance information. Long story short I did the procedure in their New Jersey office (they dont do it in the NY office). When it was time to remove the stiches (had to go to the office twice because the nurse left a stitch in) I noticed the surgeon, Dr. Ende, made an incision in the front of my ear in the process of removing the keloid. It now looks like I have a split ear because a keloid is begining to form in the FRONT of my ear as well as the back. My earlobe looks completely worse than before the removal, so much so that I actually wish I still had the keloid. Fast fwd to a couple weeks later I began to receive a whole bunch of checks for their practice. They charged my insurance probably over $ 100,000 for a botched keloid removal. I would never go back here to try to rectify anything for fear of ending up without an ear. STAY AWAY! I WISH I DID!

I’m sorry I have to leave this comment. This place is all about money. They don’t accept most insurances. I had a lady talk to me about my surgery and once she saw my insurance didn’t cover it she didn’t contact me again. I was willing to pay for the surgery. So I’m giving this 1star because of the lack of professionalism.

I had a breast augmentation in July, 2007 and I was so happy after the procedure. Dr. Jones was very professional along with the anesthesiologist. The only bad experience was after the procedure when I was removed to a recovery area that nurse was a bit rough with me. I remember although I was waking up. Other than that I would recommend Dr Jones highly!

Dr. Jones is Great! The staff is super nice and attentive. I had a small cosmetic procedure that required stitches. When I went to get the stitches removed by one of the nurses I thought that was it. Apparently a few days later the surgical area was still sore and I realized some few stitches were still in my skin (ewwe.I know). Besides that mistake from the nurse, well organized and compassionate team.

You get what you pay for. They had a super cheap botox special. First of all, they have commercials of themselves blasting, blasting, in the waiting room. Given that you are sitting there for over an hour, it could be considered cruel and unusual punishment.
The «consultation» is with a cosmetologist, not even a nurse, and that is who does your botox too — I didn’t know this procedure could be done without a doc. I was told numerous times «that’s a question for the doctor». I’m like ok, I’m waiting to talk to him, when will he be in. I was told «There are no doctors on site today.» Is that even legal? I should have left the procedure room immediately, but I’m a botox junkie and needed a quick cheap fix — that is what they are counting on. Any self-​respecting user of botox or other youth enhancing tools will run away fast from this film flam job of a business.

Please save yourself the despair!!! Save yourself a whole bunch of money that you will pay for this doctor/​butcher to deform you. He leaves dents and unnecessary scars. He had no empathy and did not try to help me when he screwed up my surgery and caused permanent scaring and nerve damage. He even causes further scaring just to take out the stitches, because he’s just not careful and doesn’t care enough. As far as the advertisements, quite a few of those people in the commercial making testimonials about how great he is and they’re happy with their results, are his staff members. (Maybe he did a better job for them because he has to see them everyday)? IDK! My point is run away not toward this office. Do yourself a favor.

Hi everyone! I had my surgery done and the experience was great! The nurses were very nice and helpful, Dr. Jones took great care of me. He is the best and I am happy I chose to go with him, he built my confidence with my new look!!! Very pleasant. I had surgery here and I have to wait at least 45 minutes every time I come here. I have seen Dr. Michael Jones on only two occasions, even though I have been in the office at least 6 times. I did not get to see Dr. Jones until the morning of my surgery, which should have been a sign to me that he does not respect his patients. One of the nurses left stitches in my skin which I had to remove myself and I never heard from Dr. Jones or the nurse after I informed the office of this major mistake. Save your time and money. Do not go here. I believe Dr. Jones is just trying to make money for himself so he takes on too many patients and his performance suffers. A perfectionist he is not.

I’ve always wanted to get laser hair removal done so decided to give this place a try. I wanted to give this place 3 stars but that would mean that it is A-​ok and that was not my first impression. My appointment was at 12, I got there at about 11:40 and filled out all the paper work by 11:50, but I was not seen until 12:20. I was annoyed because I expected this place to be professional. The waiting area is very small albeit nicely decorated and the staff would come out there and discuss procedures with patients in front of every one else! WTF? The women sitting at the receptionist’s desk were not very friendly. It almost seemed as if they were overwhelmed with the amount of phone calls and appointments they had to keep up with. I was very disappointed with this place because I expected the staff to be more proficient, but I will continue with the treatments. The office may be chaotic but from what I hear it is a good place to get procedures done.
